No. Palmer would have squared that in with his eyes closed. Sterling is selfish. He is done as a player. He is only playing cos he is in a mediocre team at the moment. His days are gone.
@@EnnieMinnieand1 yeah pros make mistakes that’s normal but as the more experienced player you should of played his teammate to put Chelsea in front. It’s just self glory atp
Poch is so calm, it feels like he sells ice cream to those kids. Not pressuring players to put in their best Probably looking for the sack so he can make a stack of doe.
@imgettingold9407 if you can't put away chances you will eventually invite pressure and that's what happen. Perfect example of the fulham and burnley game
@@imgettingold9407if Sterling passes and we take the lead we win the game Every game we start pretty well but we miss clear chances and the opponent scores a half chance later on
@femiosusa510 there's no top coach that will take this job. Hansi and Negalsmann don't want this rotten club. Shit average players and inexperienced unproven deadwoods. Its a mess
It’s the owners Lewis. They are responsible for everything that we have. It’s all down to them, players, manager, and back room staff. You’ll come to this realisation soon. Get your demo banner ready! UTC
Sacking Poch is not the solution, the players have a lot to be blamed for, their silly mistakes in defense and poor decision making in the final third is a problem all the managers before Poch had to deal with. Even if you sacked Poch, who do you get? who'll want to take on this mess in this time? Poch must figure it out and do so ASAP that's he only solution, and we the fans give him our support, we have to look at issues from all angles and not be emotional.
@denzel9086 chelsea won't get relegated smh there are atleast 5 teams completely worst than chelsea so shut the f#ck up smh.. what chelsea need is some experiences players proven players. The attack is dead Jackson is useless and sterling for a player who play so many games at the highest level footballing IQ is the size of a peanut. Chelsea recruiting as been shit and not of these players are players that poch signed
Stewart did his job which was selling players so that is unfair on him but winstanley I tell that man is responsible for the recruiting failures of this team mans rl sold us on Enzo when he plays like fucking shit and looks disinterested by the weeks that he has been at chelsea
No plan B? Theres not even a plan A! I found it insulting we hired an ex spurs manager to begin with, especially one that was sacked there. Get him out.
exactly, he shouldnt have been hired to begin with, he couldnt do sht with messi neymar and mbappe, what made boehly think hed do anything with a bunch of kids. but we're stuck with him now, we have no other choices, its a hot sht show that the owners put us in.
We also need to realise it’s only Cole palmer and Nkunku that are great players the rest are average . Ben chidwell and Reece James are class but injuries have ruined them
I’ve been critical of Lewis. He was right about the direction Poch is taking the team. I’ll acknowledge my optimism was incorrect. Fair play Lewis. It’s going to be an incredibly tough couple of years for the club and fans from here.
You were not wrong. It's not as simple as Poch. It's a bigger picture with a brand new squad and players who are not good enough to rely on. How many games could we have won if we could finish?
No manager can fix this disaster. Sack Poch get Flick or Negalsmann in, and they'll both get sacked in a couple of months. This club's rotten from the core.
I would sale it tomorrow 50% of our team , just keep it some . Actually I will bring back Oscar , Giroud , Pulicic and buy some good senior mature players.
We are now in a fight for relegations😢 The level of complacency in this team is alarming. Broja once again show how overrated he is. Sterling as experienced as he is,put his teammates in a difficult position because of childish selfishness, palmer had a confused outing, not knowing when to shoot or pass, Jackson once again cant decides to be playing around 18 yards instead of shooting. Conceding set piece is now our identity. Pathetic display. We are now London cowboys fc
I think Poch has lost his hunger. He was a great manager but probably too much money in the bank and he's got lazy. Look at the determination an hunger of Klopp, Arteta, Emery. I reckon they put the fear of God in players. Poch in contrast looks like a friendly, cuddly bear of a man.
What makes him a great coach. The person that can't manage the likes of Messi and others wants to manage these indisciplined mid players. Posh is nothing. I never believed this man for anything
Rangers fan from Scotland here and Chelsea being my English team only positive from today's game is that nkunku came on for his debut and scored at the moment it's a debate about who's worse man utd or Chelsea
Yeah great idea Lewis sack another manager and go back to square one genius idea that seriously our fan base just so deluded just expect us to go straight back to the top immediately honestly get a reality check this is not abramovich era anymore and football has moved one from 10-15 years ago where we could constantly sack managers and get away with it, it don’t work anymore!

SACK POCH AND SACK STERLING TOO. PUT JACKSON AND BROJA ON LOAN OR SELL. PLACE COLWILL ON THE BENCH. I now understand why Chilwill was played as a winger eaelier the season cos the guy was and is better than our wingers. Look at sterling.
Poch can’t score the goals for us but he definitely set up us to score, what about selling Jackson or Broja, and buy an elite strike for Nkunku to play off?
Don't worry Lewis, my club annoys me too. They only seem to try against your really big sides i.e. Chelsea, City and then we play Sheffield United and I know for a fact we'll do nothing and lose it. We probably have the 2 most inconsistent teams in the PL
It's not about optimism or pessimism, it's mostly about focusing on the wrong problem. Let's not forget, our bad run of form started under Tuchel in December of 2021. That season was saved by the fluke run of form at the start of that season. It was a culmination of poor recruitment for years since emenalo left by the old ownership that we do not have a good core of experienced players to help this young team out. What can pochetino do about the chances we missed in the first half? You can say the second half was bad, but if you have that many chances in a half, scoring and not scoring dictates the pace of the game. PL has the best tacticians in the game, expectation to tactically dominate every minute is absurd. Then you can say maybe someone like Jackson is the problem and we need to sign a proven striker. Like Werner in 2019? Lukaku in 21? By any metric Jackson has done better than both in their respective first seasons. It's a much deeper issue that started in 2016 and Boehly just happened to buy the club right before implosion.
I agree 100% with u bro.....i dont y a lot of our fans dont see....this is just gonna be the same cycle over and over.....the first half literally told you the story.....how can u succeed if ur players are not good enough.....???
@@shawnjoseph3432 yeah and we sold him to two successive downgrades. And now Jackson, for all his immaturity, has half decent numbers, we want him sold for another flashy name. There are certain things that only improve with time. Chelsea's situation is one of them. Only if the club had signed a Caicedo when Kante was here, and Badiashille when Rudiger was here we wouldn't be in this situation. I think the club has learned some of the mistakes, don't know when the fans will.
I humbly disagree with you. May 30th,2022 was the date Boehly took over, by then we finished 3rd, been to 2 finals. We were competitive. Boehly sack Tuchel for Porter.; implemented 20 yrs age bracket players policy n in 1transfer window with a Yes man as coach.By what metrics should Jackson be first choice for Chelsea. This mess wouldn't have happen under Roman for 2 seasons straight.
Boehly n co had one full season to assess the problem with the squad yet decided the ridiculous 20 yrs age bracket players policy. Emenalo recruitment policy made Chelsea the most successful team in a decade with 2 Ucl. Boehly decided to get ride of experience for youth in 1 transfer window instead multiple windows. our issues has been fit n experience goalscorer not a 20 yrs guy. Drogba's Chelsea was different than today n he had better stats B4 coming to Chelsea. Drogba suffered injuries in his first season, didn't miss sitters n definitely didn't looked confused on the ball. Boehly should have abandoned his policy for atleast 1yr to study Epl n learn/adapt after Tuchel instead double down. Chelsea team was not imploding n with 1b spent, atleast an experience team should had prioritize with youth gradually like Madrid. 1b is good amount to prevent an implosion.
Thank you Lewis, I feel like you and I are the only ones that sees through poch, the man can't coach and I honestly think he should get a degree in banking, letting Jackson and broja back in for the second half was already an indicator that the man is just confused, pairing them together in the starting lineup was a stupid thing to do in the first place. He needs to go, poch out
As an Everton fan it’s sad to Chelsea struggling as my brother in law is a big fan.I always remember watching them against Munich and being in awe, just hope they sort themselves out and start competing against them lot across the park!🙏
At the beginning Chelsea looked much better than wolves and created a lot of chances, they missed all the chances, that is the fact....... After that, wolves's manager made some change and wolves looked much better at around 40 mins of the game but Pochetino did not take action at the half time.....Then he keeped same squad at second half and wolves catched a chance by the mistake of a young player Wugochuko, he is too young to play PL.... At 60 mins Pochetino finally made the substitution, Nkunku and Mudryk played not bad but wolves's manager took action immediately and all the players went back and defend in nearly 802 formation.... It is not easy to score in this type situation even for mancity if the opposite played 10 0 0, at 90mins they catch the weak point and scored second goal......Wolves's manger is much better than Poch, honestly speaking we cannot deny Sterling Nkunku are much better than any other players than wolves and the rest of Chelsea players...Pochetino is an alcohlic driver who drives a Benz car and wolves's manager is a proper driver drive a Nissan car and beat a benz car with a alcoholic driver😅
I'd agree with you Lewis if we didn't get lampard this summer. Boehlys already shown he's clueless by having our final shortlist poch kompany and ange. We're gonna end up getting an interim manager who will ruin our players more than poch is doing
Dude u can’t just keep firing managers. Old Chelsea ways are gone. Accept it and be patient. This season is done already so if you have expectations it’s your own fault
We've been shit since th start of last season. Different managers, different players. ONE new owner . Boehly and Clearlake have taken a top 4 club and wrecked and ruined us.
-inconsistent -unreliable -Errors - lack of mentalities This is what you get when you have a majority of young players in your squad, blaming Poch is foolish and shallow
We can talk about sacking poch all we want but at the end of the day, the sporting directors have failed in what they were suppose to do. No direction period. The crazy part about it is that our current sporting directors weren’t even our first choice yet the owners picked them. The only way to clean this mess sooner rather than later, is the owners have to fire a lot of the recruitment team & start from scratch unfortunately. Even if we sold everyone on the team including poch & brought in new players/manager we will still be in the same position because of RECRUITMENT
Sterling should have been dragged straight off for not squaring that chance Our recruitment is where the issue lies, we gambled on young and largely unproven talents and unsurprisingly it hasn’t paid off - most of these guys should be on loan gaining experience without the pressure of the first team
It’s not the managers or the players or the fans , there is something going on at this club , money passing through the club like water and nobody seems bothered that the players they are buying are crap . Buying players for 50 million , paying the selling clubs back over five years and selling the player on after a year or two to pay off the club they bought them from and start the process with new players all over again . The result no team play, no commitment or passion from the players , no cups and middle table every year
I'm disappointed really to be hearing this from lewis. I used to think he was one of the few Chelsea fan RU-vidr that knows Better but seems like that's not the case. We Chelsea fans should know better than to be doing Poch OUT right now. Where's the guts from the fan? Where's the patience? Where's the Unconditional love for the club? Let's give this guys a break we play much more better now maybe with just a few right signing and players adapting to the style or whatever we will get back. This ain't abramovic's era.Let's keep believing!! And not sacking bro 👍🏾
couldn't have said it better myself.....i like Lewis's comments most of the time.....but lately seeing how he reacts after every single manager.....seeing how repetitive tht is....has convinced he is a typical chelsea fan.....
Plan B? We barely have a plan A mate. I’m so over this team. That mistake from Sterling is unforgivable. Closer to relegation than top 4 at Christmas and I’m so sick of this
I think Chelsea's problems are much deeper than Poch. He's a good manager, but he's in charge of a dysfunctional club (reminds me a bit of totteringham).
How many managers have we been thru with the same results? Lewis has learned nothing from the past. Boehly's naive recruitment policy has created this mess and no manager in the world could get this squad to perform. But, hey, if venting makes you feel better, go on then.
One to one with the profile of the players we are better off than Brighton. The difference is that they have a proper coaching management and executive management team. There is no clear management and football culture at the moment. Joey, a better and good coach will get a better result from this boys. Maybe if the coach is given time he will turn things around. There are coaches who will get these young lads excited and tearing teams apart.
The team selection with nkunku , Caicedo n Mudryk on the bench is the most useless stupid decision a conscious manager should ever make 🫤. Why start Jackson when nkunku is fit😡
Chelsea fans we are part of the problem. Mourinho single handedly build us a team and now that team have expired and Mourinho is still alive and coaching
Fed up of hearing Chelsea need a striker. It’s just giving the other players an excuse, we’re Chelsea, are all time record goal scorer is Lampard, a midfielder. Hazard top scorer, winger. These players need to sort out their finishing, it’s an absolute joke!
I hear tht but thts in the past under a different era.....u right we dont always need strikers to score some goals.....u just competent finishers..... Jackson, Sterling and Broja are not.....

Poch is useless, but come on Lewis, put the blame where it lies. These owners put Potter and Poch in Charge and the owners gutted our team and put this group of players together. Do you honestly believe these owners will sack Poch and bring in an upgrade. You will earn a lot more respect by calling out these owners
I feel that even if we had another manager the results would be exactly the same. We have way too many young and inexperienced players, this model that our owners are trying to create isn’t going to work. Most of this team should be sold or loaned next season and we need to get in some experienced players who know what it means to be at a top club.
Pochettino still could help rather than halt. Regardless, it's just a mess top to bottom. No layer has been good enough. Board to players. Almost carbon copy of last season. Hopefully we get lucky against Boro. Only thing that could somewhat salvage the season.
@@sultanmomenofzenata177false the same guy predicted with the same XI we should get top 4 when in reality this team is too inexperienced for even a top 6 like he is a complete waffle merchant chops and changes every fucking week
poch starts every game with the handbrakes up, the panic when we losing throwing bodies on the field, then repeat next match hoping the same shit lineups and experiments will work
Chelsea doesn't smoke, she doesn't drink, she doesn't play. They have goalkeepers who don't save the team on a bad afternoon and horrible forwards. That Mudryk is a fiasco, Sterling plays for sporty Sterling, Jackson is a scatterbrain who makes bad decisions and that Broja is a building, an insecure big man
So it's cool to not get too high after a win but after every single loss it's cool for the sky to fall? The fact of the matter is this fanbase wasn't mentally prepared for this season. I'm done listening to people blaming the MANAGER for bad performances on the pitch. The fact of the matter is this squad is a bunch of individuals and so talented the manager shouldn't matter. They don't play for the badge and that's not pochs fault. That's was a problem before, it's a problem now. It will be a problem for the rest of the year. Sterling isn't a leader. Sell him.
If Luis Enrique was in charge, fans would be calling for him to be sacked because he drew 1-1 with Wolves while in the top 4. But since it’s Poch, needs more time at 10th.
Lewis just bcoz we lost today...doesnt make ur argument of yesterday true...we were better thn Newcastle on tht day...thts a fact...and again due to our lack of a cutting edge it costed us.....
Let me explain why Sterling did not pass it and why I back him for deciding not to pass it, especially after having done so much to give his team mates so many passes before that should have resulted in goals while the rest of the team offered nothing in that first half and were so hopeless, Palmer included. If Palmer had not run into the Jackson-Sterling attack, Sterling was ready to pass it to Jackson. Palmer's appearance in between Sterling and Jackson so that he was blocking Sterling from reaching Jackson in an attempt to be the one to score instead of Jackson and take all the headlines disrupted a clear plan that was forming involving Jackson and Sterling, forcing Sterling to consider other options, confusing matters and leading to a clear goal opportunity being missed and an uncharacteristic choice to shoot being taken by Sterling. Palmer was being manipulative, childish and disrespectful and Sterling was having none of it. Palmer should have run outside Jackson if he was sincere about working as a team, but his actions were filled with selfishness and a personal agenda he puts ahead of the team. I think there is one player fighting for Chelsea in every game and that is Raheem Sterling. Not only did he create the assist for Chelsea's only goal, but he was involved in creating about 4 assist opportunities in the game only for them to fail to score, and took two shots of his own that were blocked with Wolves players almost tearing their limbs out to get in the way, such was their desperation to stop him. It is even arguable Sterling should have been awarded 2 penalties, if not at least one penalty where he was practically rugby tackled to the ground and still got no penalty. The other penalty opportunity had him unfairly given a yellow card for being, as the replays showed, knocked over by the Wolves player which makes no sense. You cannot say a man involved in all these things was not putting his neck down for the team, Sterling was relentless and thank God he at least got an assist out of his hard work and doing it consistently game after game is the reason his stats keep ticking on, even if when he does get Chelsea success from this others are given the credit. They have to challenge the yellow card against him, he was clearly knocked to the floor, it's borderline racism as I do not see a white player knocked to the floor like that being given a yellow card hen it is so clear he has been knocked over. Great stuff. Peace and love
I've expected NOTHING from my team since 10 man West Ham put us to the sword few weeks ago. The American owners tossed together the shiniest, costliest objects that caught their eyes, while dumping a team of winners that just needed tweaking. To avoid relegation, I suggest Poch play a false nine, and give Jackson and Broja, maybe HOPELESSLY selfish Sterling too, a season ending rest. Nothing else is going to work.
What on Earth with sacking Poch solve? He’s been given a team of kids! Prime Fergie wouldn’t get this lot playing as a team. Our recruitment has been poor!! Our owners watched this team struggle to score goals in 2022. So in 2023, they spend a Billion and fail to buy a goal scoring striker! Poch picks a team that has 70-80% possession every week. 15+ shots every game!! The tactics create chances. Our players just can’t finish! Short of Poch being on the pitch himself, what do you expect him to do?? These players are lower half of the league standard. Broja and Jackson wouldn’t get into Luton’s team, so why are we expecting more from them? Put Harry Kane in this team and we’d be top 4 easy!! Problem is, the owners haven’t bought players for NOW! They’ve bought kids to sell for profit in a few years time
A new manager ain’t making mudryk improve his footballing iq and first touch. A new manager ain’t helping sterling with his inconsistencies. A new manager ain’t improving Jackson in being a striker. A new manager ain’t fixing the midfield(no dm) A new manager ain’t fixing the squads injury issues. This is a board/ownership problem. Zero experience bought. The spine is so important in a team and look at ours. It’s spineless. People like Lewis and his podcast mates who still back the board and ownership will learn the hard way when yet another coach comes in and the team doesn’t improve. No coach can succeed in this conditions. Period.
Sterling prem appearances - 366 Goals - 120 Assists - 62 You would think Sterling had 30 goals to the name like someone on the left that plays for City right now smh The disrespect I see this man get is disturbing to say the least. I remember when you got a 100 prem goals, people would put respect on your name but not in this internet era. 🤦♂️
I’m all for sacking poch, but who can replace him ? He is to blame for it. But so are the players. They miss chance after chance. And poch records and lack of trophies doesn’t persuade me enough to be confident he can turn our form around.
You really can’t blame poch. If sterling passes the ball to Palmer the outcome of the game changes for a fact. And with Nkunku coming in we probably would have scored more.
yes we can 😂 no tactics, no development, shitty lineups, excuses. That's all Poch. Sterling's stupid decision is not what people are blaming Poch for 💀
The fact that he let Sterling continue after the most unforgivable, selfish shit I have ever seen in a football match in itself is worthy of the sack. And the same with NJ. He is arguably the worst player ever to put on that blue shirt.
All i want for Christmas is for Boehly to give lifelong contract to Poch, like what he does for the players. Poch is doing a terrific job and we want him to stay 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Poch is definitely at fault, but I don’t believe he should be sacked, these players are making silly & avoidable mistakes from top to bottom and I think other than Silva, we really lack experience and a real fighting mentality, again it’s up to Poch to inspire that mentality in the first place I agree with that, but I’d like to see what he can do in upcoming January window and onwards provided we can recruit a couple of seasoned fighters-off the top of my head I don’t even know who fits that description though
Pocchetino doesn't have to scream " Rahhhheeeeeem pass the ball " " Secuuuure the goals " it's a jerk. I swear. And Gallagher when he shoot he fall everytime even alone. Jackson it's not D1 Player just simply.
Poch made his name at Southampton and Spurs and on both occasions he walked in just as a crop of good players were coming through, for instance Tim Sherwood had just introduced Kane to the first team at Spurs. So Poch wasn’t good he just got lucky twice but luck is no replacement for acumen and Poch is a Dinosaur, wanting his players to play the way Barca played 15 years ago- Tippy Tappy on the half way line. A good manager plays with the players he’s got,not the players he wish he had but Poch won’t change and you don’t have to fret,he’s as good as gone because he’s always been useless.
