You are my exes savoir hes been following you for 4 years... Hes in a worse place now than hes ever been lol and he is no father to his children no matter how nice of a person i am to him ... I wonder if maybe it will take him another 4years to listen to your rules and your opinions and still be worse off or better 🤦
I have never heard anything like this in my life, and I thought I knew Christianity. I’m blown away by the wisdom of God coming through this vessel . Incredible.
I'm an atheist. If I were to believe in God, I would go all in like Jessie... because he is right. Personal pride, and fear stops us from agreeing with Mr. Jessie
@@phillipjones3596 I realize you are slow but within the context of your sentence structure in the initial comment; "Personal" is redundant and only indicates your sense of confusion in the same way other idiots overuse the word "self" to represent the same confusion as to what~who they are.
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
As I get older it is realized that those who I trusted as truth tellers were just peddling their own self interest and trying to keep their imagined sense of solidity and importance alive and many who I poo-pooed as stupid and gullible where on the level all along. Never heard of JLP before, this talk is awesome and cuts straight through all the crap. In the words of U.G Krishnamurti, "Thought is Your Enemy"
Thought or imagination itself is not the problem. They can be put to good use. We see the result of imagination and thought in great works of art, architecture, technology, and so forth. One must think or imagine first before the manifestation of anything. Granted, there is something beyond imagination and thought, but that is a separate matter. The latter 2 are not the problem, however. The problem, rather, is that we tend to overestimate their place. They can dominate us or become excessive. Yes, it's possible to overthink or engage in all manner of fantasy, which can prove counterproductive, even destructive. It would also depend on the character of the thought or imagining. Some thoughts are beneficial, others not. Some are conducive to health; others further depravity and perversity. But the latter may indicate a lack of discipline, or some mental disorder. It says nothing about the nature of thought itself. Don't you ever think about your friend or husband or wife when they're absent? Does that mean you've succumbed to Satan's lies? Ridiculous. When you're hungry, how do you recognize you're hungry? Notice that a thought typically emerges: perhaps an image of the fridge where the food is. Or an image of the food you'd like to eat. The thought of food is a sign that the body requires nourishment. You need thought for all manner of practicalities, including the kind of clothing you want to wear on a particular day, repairing some feature of your home, coming up with a grocery list, etc. You may take into consideration the possibility that God gave us the power to think and imagine, that these capacities are what separate us from lower-level animals. Yes, thought has limitations; we possess something that transcends thought, but that doesn't detract from the usefulness and benefits of thought.
It's always so sad to see these people. Literally here watching the video and can't help.but whine and cry and pretend they know something about anything. Imagine the kind of person u have to be to spend your day watching religious RU-vid videos and trying to convince everybody that God doesn't exist 😂😂 the absolute lack of brains and unawakened of basic world history is always stunning to see. Yet theyre so confident that they know everything. It's insane 😂
''All Imagination Is from Satan'' (JLP), “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution." (A. Einstein), "Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will." (G. B. Shaw), "Imagination is the voice of daring. If there is anything Godlike about God it is that. He dared to imagine everything." Henry Miller
Humans do not "create". They only take what God has already created and change its form. God is the only one that can create something from nothing. God wills it, and it is done. A human can imagine all he wants, nothing happens. Children imagine with their toys, but as the Apostle Paul wrote, "when I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put childish things away.".
@@freeroamer9146 Good for St. Paul but I rather stay with my Lord Jesus: ''Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.''
He has some real good points but saying nobody has any true friends seems odd. Saying not to work it out with your spouse if they want a divorce is not biblical - YOU FIGHT TO KEEP YOUR MARRIAGE
You certainly want to make every effort to sustain and strengthen your marriage, but there is a time to let go. Christ calls adultery an exception when he points out the perils of divorce. God does not allow us to be tempted beyond our limits. Adultery could surpass those limits. I've seen it destroy more than one marriage!
The philosopher Aristotle said that art has value because we can experience emotion through it in a healthy way, as catharsis. So if you create something, and it's angry or sad or whatever, you're making something that others will be able to relate to and can prevent them from lashing out in their daily life. I believe the message this preacher is saying is along the lines of what the philosopher Plato said about art, which is that it can be a trap for people to get caught up in and not actually experience life, or make bad decisions because you've lost control of your emotions. Like any good sermon, you should dwell on the message the preacher is making and find the love in it. Don't give up your art! Just remember that while it is a part of you, you're not defined entirely by it - don't base your self worth on your success, don't get caught up in the idea of how you're "supposed" to behave as an artist, and remember that what matters is how you treat others. God bless!
I think it really depends. Imagination can be an amazing and wonderful thing just like free will but when used for evil it can cause great destruction. It's really the implication from thought to action.
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
The devil is an artist, lack of infinite knowledge (experimentation) and lack of justice for its pervious creations. You have to destroy paint and the canvas to make a new artform. Yet all ideas and structures exist in the ether. There is no need for this process.
What if God canceled His human creation who would be saved??? For God so loved that He gave His only Son so that those who chose to believe in the final blood sacrifice would be saved. It’s His blood that washes it away: For He is moved by the human spirit of belief and faith so that person can be restored by kneeling and submission. Submission gives Him permission to do His renovations of the heart that’s ware He starts. See testimonials. Read:Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (bible ) for further information.
@@busterkeylnot really; they are just expressions of imagination, they mostly serve as platforms to be amused by, to play within. Sometimes that playing stimules divergence from the original content as rationalization(thinking) lets the observer extrapolate on potential~perceived lines of intent which underpins the infrastructure of "video games, television shows and internet" as you put it. However: Imagination is primarily fueled by "necessity" and insecurity(both seem to be one and the same for intellectuals but not for Humans). Yes; intellectuals are not Humans, they are creatures that breathe through the mouth and subsist on scrip, be it colloquially phrasing or a plethora of degrees from institutions of indoctrination. *Be Human, not a mouth-breather.*
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Arguing "God is good" and all that, its failed understanding of duality. Good and evil is two extremes of the same power. Like a magnet have both + and - pull. Two sides of same coin. God is Satan. The world is evil, the real God did not create this evil world with the evil body that grows old and gets sick and dies.
This isn’t a troll it’s an honest question. Are we ok to make decisions when it comes to everyday things? Showering, dressing, work , etc. is it ok to plan to go to work the next day? Is it ok to make plans to eat dinner that night? Just curious because I’m confused when it comes to detail in what he said! Can any1 help?
Yes. Don't make a rule for yourself just because Jesse (or anyone else) said it. Practical life calls for laying out plans, making decisions, and having practical thoughts - do what's in front of you to do. None of those thoughts, plans, or decisions are things you dwell on: You carry it out and keep moving forward. You don't keep thinking about it or get lost in your head thinking about what to eat, what to wear, how you want to get to work.
He makes some good points particularly about vice being from the imagination however the idea of making plans being from the devil because it requires imagination I personally take with a grain of salt
