Thank you so much @TheDanielSpies_Arcades , I am the very luck one that ordered this Japanese masterpiece! Anyone here interested to see some games in action on this machine, I would like to invite you all to check out a new RU-vid channel called @BlackBartGames and enjoy a piece of history on each game that we will play over there. Don't forget to hit the LIKE and SUBSCRIBE buttons here for Daniel Spies as well, he is the Van Gogh of arcades built and he deserves all the support on the growth of his channel too.
So beautiful, playing on that will be an absolute joy. Hope to see that 50" cab with the switchable consoles in one day, sounds quite the project, but what a machine to have at the end
Super excited to follow these build Daniel, I have learned a ton of stuff thanks to you 😊 I want to build a CRT cab so that's the biggie for me. Perhaps even a vector monitor if I can get my hands on one
Happy new year to you too Daniel. Very much looking forward to all your future projects (especially the 50inch one...). Now that I have a lot more experience with the whole arcade scene, maybe I'll reach out to you to redisgn my control panel on my Tron arcade.. I know now a lot more of what I want (and don't want). All best to you!
happy owner of Daniel s piece of art, I can confirm you all guys that this is masterpiece crafting❤ it is so fun to play classic games and Tekken on it😊
I'm happy to see that he is kept enthusiastic by all the wildly different commissions he receives, of all level of complexity. If everyone wanted the same 42" screen, 4 player, standup, hyperspin arcade cabinet, he would get quickly bored, but instead he gets requests for controllers, wall mounted arcades, an FPGA-powered arcade, a motorized height changeable monster...wow. A dream for a Renaissance engineer.
Thanks. Yes, all of my projects are basically one of a kind pieces. That makes it a new journey every time. Looking very much forward to the upcoming builds!
Daniel, one day, people will be playing these and saying "Wow you have an original Daniel Spies arcade cabinet???" Like a Stradivarius, it will be a piece of art for museums and millionaires. Your work is absolutely incredible and inspiring.
OMG I absolutely love what your putting out. I've always seen the pandora boxes and the like but because there's no standard you never really know what you're getting. Your build quality and designs are absolutely gorgeous, top notch and a work of art. Please tell me where can I order this!
The multi-controller arcade machine looks really cool but with how tight and closed it is I fear it's not getting enough ventilation. Have you considered adding more vents to the parts surrounding it? For example I recommend making the part you take off in front of it a vent.
Yes the pc will get pretty hot but within limits in open hardware monitor. I did not have power left for more (mini) fans. We can create another opening behind the removable panel indeed but I am not sure if this will make a substantial difference 😅
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades I see, still just having vents on the underside and the opening can make a fair difference. If anything, something I recommend is to take out the guts of the mini PC and essentially utilize the arcade box as its case. With proper venting this can be very helpful for temps. Cheers!
I an looking forward to the MISTer FPGA Video Arcade. I have bought a MISTer system last year already along with two IPAC boards, trackball, joysticks and buttons from Ultimarc and want to build a Video Arcade with it. So I am very much looking forward to your videos on that project. Please make sure to talk about the technical side a bit, too, and not just the cabinet-building side of things, please. Happy New Year 2024!
Hi ❤. Love your project and innovation. You inspire me. We should work together on a new Games Launcher for your amazing work. And keep all the features you need.
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades. Y watching all your video. I may suggest its time to personalize your Build with a Custom Beast Danïel Spy Edition. Keep in touch Lets talk and i can build something with Lightgun and Arcade as your taste
4:58 i did it on mine, i attached my old consoles to the sides of my arcade and plugged them in.. i can switch between them using hdmi switch under the desk ... and i used original controllers or some like x360 accepts the arcade buttons , using usb switch also... it's an awesome machine!! urs would look better obviously
Haha yes, MDF with walnut veneer IS heavy indeed. But balsa wood will not be a great choice engineering wise haha. You will break that in pieces easily.
I searched a bit and worked out this is a two axis analogue usb joystick: the UltraStik 360FS Flight Stick. A video talking about it would still be interesting.
