Great job! I am a fan of Johnny at "Crafted Workshop' as well. My only curiosity is how you keep track of where you stuff is when you have some containers three deep. I might do something similar, put on slide out shelf and top side labels- but only because I can remember what is where these days (old).

Yeah that’s a great idea! I have a label maker so I labeled each small parts container by category “specialty screws” “nuts and bolts” that kind of thing. You could also write on the side of the cabinet opening what each bin is and where it’s located. But even with that there is definitely a little fumbling around trying to find stuff If I forget.

How does the down draft dust collector work? Have you made any improvements? Would you install a sloped bottom?
@SaltCityWorkshop

It could work better. I think if you create one that had a concentrated amount of holes, it would work better. That will be a project for another time. The slope actually made things worse. Thanks!

What ended up being the overall size of the table? Just when I thought I had narrowed by outfeed table design, I saw your video.
@SaltCityWorkshop

Haha, yeah sorry about that! The table top is about 50” wide by 62” long but it obviously can be adjusted to meet your needs and the needs of your table saw.

But what is the final height my table saw is 37" to the top of the surface.

Just curious, did you use push to open drawer slides or had you just not the drawer handles on yet? I’m currently building mine and I want the overlay drawer fronts but don’t want to put handles on it as I like the modern look.I just don’t know what spacing I need from the carcass to the drawer front to make it work correctly and to also not look bad when seeing a huge gap at the sides of the drawer fronts.😩

No handles. I just grab the side of the drawer and pull it open. Because the drawer fronts are not inset drawer fronts, they overhang the carcass

I'm at the carcass assembly phase of this build. I got to the back set of cabinets and realized there's a gap between between them that isn't in the plans or mentioned, but I can see it in the video. Is that intentional?

Thanks for downloading the build plans. That’s a great question. It was intentional but it has no purpose. It really just because when I was designing the table I designed those three carcasses (the front and the two side carcasses) I did so individually based on the depth I needed to fit the drawer slides I wanted to use and the depth of the small parts containers. It just so happens that there was about a 1 inch gap left. If I remember correctly. You can shim some wood that is the proper thickness in there to have something to screw the back of the cabinets to. That’s what I did. Send me pictures to my Instagram once you are done. I’d love to shout it out on my account when you are finished. Thanks!
