I am extremely impressed by the stability of this unit, other 2.4G wireless devices can't handle the walls/routers/etc in my studio, but this unit stayed strong and comes with an amazing carrying case, cables, lav mic and charging cables. Well done Mackie, you nailed this one!

For anyone struggling to connect this to a MacBook Air or Pro, as I just did: use the TRS-TRRS adapter ("Connect Phone") and plug the TRRS-side direct into your *headphone jack*. Mac will recocgnise it as headset-mic, and you're good to go. No need for USB-C adaptors! On another note, having now tested it a lot, I can say this: it's fun & cheap & practical live gear, as described by Jared here. But it's not suitable for high-quality recording. You will get a certain level of built-in background buzz on all recordings, no matter what.

Howzit Jared, hope you're well! Would this system work well for a live scenario? I can hear a bit of background hiss when you use it, wonder if that will be noticeable on a PA

Trying to connect the unit.. you didnt show where its going in as it has a headphone onput and another input… where do we connect it?

Sorry for that, I've tried to improve on that. It would have probably gone into my little mixer at the time. Then I was using a xenyx mixer and the Mackie producer pack sound interface, so either gained through my mixer or as an input on the interface.
