The ALL-IN Research Network (ARN) Virtual Launch hosted a lineup of leading speakers and panelists to introduce this new initiative serving African economics researchers and the broader international development community. This event introduced the network’s mission, vision and key objectives. The event also outlined the initiative’s implementation as well as partnership opportunities for researchers, policy makers and stakeholders across the field of development.
ARN supports locally led, locally relevant research agendas defined by African researchers and their institutions. With ARN support, African researchers in development economics and related fields define and lead large-scale research priorities. ARN also establishes connections to an international development community that offers research funding and assistance to scale field-tested programs and policies. This approach will narrow the gap between national pilot studies and national program design, increasing the impact of research investments.
