The similarities between the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian really become apparent here-and it becomes really clear just how different Finnish and Sámi are to those languages.

Ahh, finally they're all here! 😍 All Idunas are so well casted is crazy! I particularly like Tina and Christine the most - they really sound like they could be the moms of their respective Annas and Elsas 😄

Also I'm loving the similarities in the Finnish and Sami words for "memories". Minnen (Swedish) not a similar word at all.

Well, that might be because Swedish is a Germanic language, while Sami and Finnish are Uralic.

@@Askmolnet I know I'm just point out that Sami is very weird but we can feel some similarities with Finnish and even a bit with Hungarian (particularly the letter C to me, feels very Hungarian as Finnish doesn't employ it like that)

@@8is Icelandic is flowy and beautiful, has that flowy sound like Valgerthur. Sami is just nice in general. And Danish I like how mature she is, but I actually prefer the huske den dag part in Show Yourself.

Ma solo io, oltre ad amare la versione danese, adoro tantissimo le canzoni di Frozen 2 in versione finlandese? In quest'ultimo periodo mi sto innamorando della voce di Katja, soprattutto in Show Yourself. All'inizio non mi piaceva, perché sostenevo che strillasse un po' troppo, ma, facendoci l'orecchio, non è poi così male. Forse ho finalmente compreso che in realtà strilla al punto giusto 😂 Ci sta! Sto talmente in fissa che sto imparando anche il testo (e ho scoperto che non è neanche troppo difficile parlarlo, dato che le parole suonano un po' come le nostre!) 😂

Personalmente, la Iduna finlandese a me piace molto e apprezzo anche Katja, mentre quella che non mi va giù del cast finlandese è Saara come Anna...non ce la faccio proprio x) Eh sì, il finlandese, come lo spagnolo, il giapponese o anche il malese e l'indonesiano, è una delle lingue più vicine all'italiano in termini di fonetica, hanno tantissimi suoni in comune...che è il motivo per cui non mi ha mai attratta particolarmente come lingua: ricorda troppo l'italiano XD

Neither is Sami. But when it comes to this kind of videos, "Nordic" indicates "from Northern Europe", not "Northern Germanic languages"

@@FlamSparks don’t get me wrong, I love this kinda thing. I was just confused on terminology. But “Nordic” could really imply both ideas, geographically and linguistically. Either way it’s an impressive video, all of them!
