My Japanese in law against our marriage because I’m from the third world country. They beg to their son to don’t marry me,they show many pictures of Japanese girls to choose(arranged marriage) but my husband refused to it. Now we’re 33yrs.of marriage 😊
What a wonderful story! I love and send you my BLESSINGS!!! I was born a black man in Cameroon, Africa, and met my green-eyes white American wife in Switzerland where we were both studying at the same university. We are abundantly blessed that both our African and US families wholeheartedly accepted our union (excepting my wife’s late grandmother who, at first, expressed some hesitation; but became even one of my most ardent fans upon meeting and observing me after my wife and I settled in the US). Both our parents met normally before they all passed away, and several of our siblings (as well as ours and their children, grandchildren…) have internationally met, and still meet normally per planned or incidental encounters. My wife and I have been married for 47 years, resulting in 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. LOVE, indefectible TRUST in one another, and belief in GOD (along with some luck here and there) is all what’s needed.
This lady is brave and must be commended. I lost a very beautiful relationship because I was an African. The lady couldn't keep up with the family pressure and gave in to the pressure. Yuka is an Amazon!❤
Years ago I was about 16 years old I saw movie called Sayonara and I fell in love with the Japanese people always thought I would marry into the culture but it wasn’t to be . I send God’s blessings to u both and your family, u are Bless ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦
What an inspiring story of love and respect ,ups and down along the way overcome by these two GoD loving person.Regards to your family and the Afrimax English channel, thank you all.
Inspiring story. All bcuz of their strong faith and full trust in God and keeping God very much involved in every aspect of their life together m. Congratulations!
What an inspiring love-story. Wishing both of you much happiness and success. Here's a little ditty about Africa/Japan if you don't already know. I'm from Cape Town originally. The Swedish botanist/naturalist Carl Peter Thunberg (11 November 1743 - 8 August 1828) wanted to describe the flora of Japan but had to first learn Dutch at the Cape to enter Japan as a Dutch citizen since Japan then only allowed Dutch people to enter. He ended up being the first person to describe both the flora of South Africa and Japan ("Flora Capensis" (1807) and "Flora Japonica" (1784) and posthumously (1833) the "Fauna Japonica").
She said her parents are Buddhists, this should be a reason for accepting the love of her daughter to whatever person she choosed, not the opposite...sad Hope all the best for this couple ❤
Her pronunciation of certain letters is very Japanese. She has a tinge of a Kenyan accent too but not as much. Its a mix of both. If you know both accents, you'll recognise it.
My kids are korean and black and there was push back from the korean side. Now we have two kid's 13 and 12, they are now Jr Olympic champions. Now they act so proud 😮
Isn't life strange? They wouldn't accept their heritage and who they are as people. But they will accept their achievements, which gives them status in life. That's really superficial. All the best to your family ❤
Yuka saying yes to Nick has given her a rich and full life. Thankfully she broke the cycle of an abusive father and found a kind man in Nick and his supportive family.
@@DiosanXaquerry She wanted to commit suicide because of her life and how she was treated. But seeing that even what she had was enough thinking how much she had. Then she accepted Jesus as her Savior. This turned her life around. Her life became worth living.
Ah i see... Some japanese parent really materialistism...not all but many... They calculate the money than the happiness of their child... My fiance is sama, she really lonely but her cousin stay with fiance's family, and she like it bcos her house become merry😊
Nobody is mentioning Yuka's heart of gold. Her determination to make a difference in the world led to a breakthrough she never expected. What an exceptional woman, with her love for God!😊❤
A Japanese woman married a man of Haiti. Their daughter Naomi Osaka won the US Open tennis title in 2018. She is the world's highest paid female athlete
No, she isn't the highest paid female athlete.I think that went to serena williams.. not that it means anything because she's being paid well, but facts matter😊.
I love you guys !!!! Im black my husband a white green eyes italian.. last february 14 ; was our 50 aniversary together, we have 2 dauthers and 1 son, and now 4 ❤❤❤ grandchildrens.
Viva l'italiana! Siamo i migliori. I am from Cameroon originally settled in Italy for over 20years and an Italian Citizen. It is a wonderful country and I AM PROUD TO BE AN ITALIANO! Sono Italiano vero 🇮🇹👍
Wow!!! Am always happy to hear that there are still very good , and God instituted marriages. God bless your home. May the Lord also give me a very good one soon.
but seeing her husband, we can see where she gets support and rock to hold on... he explains with smile and excitement, that marrying her is the wisest decision in his life...
From a Muslim I am very happy you tube recommended this video. Beautiful people, they're so kind and humble. May God keep their family happy and blessed with peace, happiness and love ❤️.
Diamonds are produced under pressure. This couple is the definition of diamonds carved by God. Nothing is impossible with God at the front of our lives ❤
Proud of you Yuka ma wife is Japanese from Ishikawa . My unification with my Japanese wife was a blessing from both families. My in-law embraced me as their own son so I really raise my hat off to both of you ❤
Her accent is a perfect mix of Kenyan and Japanese accent!❤ you have no idea how difficult, if not impossible, for Asians to accept marriage to an African. She truly loves him.
I decided to elect this video story the best I ever watched in 2024, for I have been all at once so moved, blessed, encouraged, and even challenged in my own journey and personal life by simply learning about this testimony of two people that God unpredictably brought together. Thanks for sharing, be blessed !!!
You don't marry someone because of the color of their skin you married to someone because of Love and that person's love each other that bond will get stronger and stronger
@@zilun Sometimes you also lose the love and maybe you weren't for each other at all or you could also just die alone, that's what happened to my uncle.
Its not just skin colour. Cultural differences. Most Asian African marriages dont work out because the men have different values. The women cant adjust to life in Africa as the conditions are poor. Poor amenities compared to East Asia. Also cultural differences like polygamy in Africa still being practised
@@mrbushiri He can relate cuz he is not a Japanese and got married to one too.He probably went through the same thing the Kenyan guy went through. Abeg rest..
Your story is inspiring. I hope you guys grow together till death do you part. I brought my now wife home to my family in Nigeria in 2014 from China. She was fully welcomed, fully accepted, and we are happily married with three kids. My mother-in-law was in support of us which is different from your case though hard to find amongst Asians. In fact, she helped us with nursing the kids when they were babies as she would travel to the USA with us each time we went to have the babies. There is no love and acceptance greater than that. Though I didn't get to meet my father-in-law until he passed last week as things fell apart between them before I met the daughter. So, my mother-in-law was in custody of my wife all the way. My mother-in-law always told me that she had never seen a good man like me and she is happy her daughter is with me. I wasn't financially buoyant when we got married as I was just an English teacher in China neither did my wife come from a rich home but with consistency, savings and steadfastness, we are doing well financially today. I know marriages have ups and down but we are able to deal with all our situations by God's grace. Africa is the home of the mother earth which is why we are always receptive. The white world has tried all its best to destroy us but unfortunately, you can't destroy what you don't know how it comes about.
I am in South Africa. They have been tutoring my daughter from Kenya via online! She is doing very very well and is far ahead of all her school mates in her knowledge of piano! Hikari music school is the best school!
Went to south korea and fell in love. She wouldn't leave. I begged her. She was in school and close to her family. We cried when I had to leave. Never cried over a female in my life. Still think about her
May our all sovereign God shower you with many blessings. I am a 78 Years old French Pastor preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Alberta Canada. I loved your story, it is a shinning example of the Grace of God. Thank you for this moment
I was like...:"Hmmm..."... But considering the situation, I quite understand it. He's a real man who's found his spouse. Congratulations to the both of you.
I am Japanese but I have never laughed at a case like you get. There are many issues among races all over the world and it is very touchy ones. I hope that humans will solve these problems someday.
Yet it's SAD that many Asians parents are so closed-minded. In their eyes, if they can't see their kids following a certain path, then they consider them as outcasts. To me these type of parents don't know what true love is, aka, unconditional love... love might as well be some form of legal binding, burden, or payback to them...
Yes. Sometimes you gotta leave family friends and society in there backwards shadow ideas and move to the light. Hoping those who see the light would come out the shadows
What an awesome story! Beautiful resilient couple. I have been married 33 years to someone of my own background yet my in-laws still do not like me because I am from a poor family. Our marriage is great though thank God. Keep on going. God will fight for you as He did for us.
Beautiful love story May God bless your family. I am Ghanaian still married to beautiful Japanese woman like Hikari and we been together for 30years and been blessed with 3 girls and one boy. I will definitely subscribe to your RU-vid.
@@samchs222 I met my wife 1989 in Tokyo when she was sophomore in college and got married 1994 after she graduated. She join me in fashion business doing wholesale and retail and then we move to NY after having 3 kids to give them better global education. Now we own premium sneakers store in NY and all our 3 girls are Ivy graduates making 6 figures annually. I have a lot of respect for Hikari and her husband because I can understand the hardship and trauma they went through.
@@levyoliver5363 - "Race" is not a scientific term. Genetically, all humans are one people with only minor exterior differences. I am encouraged to see that love and acceptance are making inroads into the hearts of people all over the globe. ^_^
Sensible huh? If she was that, then she would have married an American / European (meaning white) man like her mom originally thought would happen. But her husband does seem like a good guy. 😉
Amazing how Yuko’s life’s obstacles has led to the very character that l can see is what Nick was blessed to fall for. She is a true blessing. I love these kind of stories.
I have been living in Japan for 6 years and 5 other countries for the past 20 years. Japanese women are like everyone else. Some are good and some are bad.
I normally dont comment, but I must say, this wondeful love story touched my heart. As a Christian myself, I wish the full blessings of God our father to you and your family. May you grow in faith and continue to to that which you enjoy.
I had a scholarship in The Netherlands in 2008 and I met several Africans, including a Kenyan. All of us were educated and learned and the Africans are such smart people, warm, funny, hardworking, emotional, etc. The only difference is their color. The rest, just as God created all of us. God bless! Beautiful story ❤😊
Pure love has no boundaries… Congratulations!!! I am so glad you became. Christian and both committed to marry and allow your love and respect to win despite the opposition. Bless you both!
When we realize we are not guaranteed a long life, we will stop having all these prejudices against other humans. At any moment life can end and we will have wasted precious time hating others. People that follow their hearts have a much better life no matter how long they live.
I still believe in love. Even a man with no arms & feet can still have a wife and family. Of course that man is a wealthy author and an inspirational speaker.
I had lost track of this family. I'm so glad that they are still together and going strong. Oh my God.. I'm so glad.. such a lovely couple... God bless you
God did not create racism, he created a beautiful garden a with all colour flower, look at a bouquet with different colors how awesome it looks, people need to learn from God the Master DESIGNER.
I sooo agree with you. Colours bring life, joy. Who does not go out in summer to enjoy them. I sooo agree with you. This couple particularly is so smashingly beautiful. They just fit well together. Only God can put things together so beautifully. Even they could not help it but come together as a couple. The woman living so far from home. Where does she get the strength to make Kenya her home? from God! God the Master DESIGNER indeed.
If you have ever been treated with a lot of r@cism then you’ll understand what Nick endured initially from Yuka’s family before he could win her over. If you have been rejected by loved ones then you’ll understand what Yuka went through while making her decision to be with Nick. That period should be the toughest time of their relationship and if they could scale through it then there is no tide in life that they won’t be able to withstand in their marriage. But what made Yuka to never gave up and what made Nick to never got frustrated during those tough times? It’s because the love ❤between them is TRUE! TRUE love ❤ conquers everything and can break through the strongest barriers. I wish Nick and Yuka the best of life as we learn from their story.👏
As a sister in Christ. May I wish you both a blessed life together and may your good works continue to enhance the lives of those less fortunate than us. God Bless you.
Yuka is a GEM!!! Glad that the happiness that evaded her as a daughter, she found it as a wife. Well done Nick for being a gentleman. May your union continue to blossom, wax stronger, and be a source of inspiration to many more...
At the end of the day..love wins Love grows beyond creed , ethnicity, race, Let's embrace diversity I Don't like racism especially in Asia , Europe, America etc ...we Africans we Don't discriminate any of them
That’s completely wrong ! Ask Ugandans what they are going through by Rwandese ( Tutsi) ! Also how many somalians have you seen marrying outside their circle! I have seen more white people marrying blacks that ever seeing Somalian or Ethiopian marrying a fellow African from the Bantu tribe !
Not neccessarily. The Japanese are very race proud, almost racist on whole. An extended member of out white Australian family, who spoke excellent Japanese and had a well-paid and respected occupation married a Japanese woman. Her family accepted him but the community did not. Their children were ostracised and taunted at school in Japan for being of mixed race and so they moved to Australia to live. All of their children have married people from around the world.
She looks phenomenal beautiful gorgeous real pretty woman enjoy it live your happy life as wonderful wife try not to listen to what they say cause they are just jealous cause you have found a nice excellent good husband who will love all of you for real👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 0:28
I love them. My husband and I are interracial and have been together since 1972. We are teachers. We have many lovely friends and family. It is a wonderful life together. My parents were supportive and that was enough. But we always put together first and that was our strongest strength.
