Damn. So many memories and sad times of delays. Back when we called it Zelda U and watched HMK and GameXplain for every bit of detail. Jeesh. where has the time gone?
Watching these after watching the final TOTK trailer before launch is so freaking emotional. When I watched these and played BOTW initially, I never thought they would top this ever again, and yet here we are. I'm so excited for the new game!
I love the L.O.Z games but that first trailer had to be one of the most bad ass parts in all of the games and it’s just so cool and I’m so happy that the robots don’t move that fast in the real game
The second the trailer ended I started crying thinking of how far the games have gone twilight princess was my first ever Zelda game and it has always been my favourite because it was always just a fun game for me I saw myself play this game all the time when I was little and when breath of the wild came out it reminded me so much of it (except the controls og wii one of the best console tho top 10 at less) but I will always have Love for Zelda games in my heart forever thank you this franchise for lots my love of games (I can’t wait till it gets to now when link still has a master sword but as a bow changes it to a gun or something idk as long as it is like this games I’m happy)
This game is so freaking majestic and beautiful. Now, I've played a LOT of games, especially the most popular ones like Minecraft, but this is my favorite BY FAR. No one can convince me otherwise. It is the best game, so vast and breathtakingly (no pun intended) beautiful. It is the actual best.
I loved the first trailer. "Strong enemies" that guardian is extremely fast in all areas and i really want it for botw 2 also it found a way to survive in water. STRONG
I got an actual thrill when the name for the game appeared in the trailer. This was my first time watching it, 5 years after release. That’s how amazing the game, hype, and trailers were.
With Tears of the Kingdom only a month from release, I had to admire all of botw again before I betrayed the game to its successor. Beautiful, simply beautiful
That 1st trailer...I'm in the camp that didn't like Skyward sword, so I was so pessimistic that I didn't listen to a word Eiji Aonuma said. That pessimism started to erode away as time went on. I would slap my 2014 self if I could.
@Demoniczny taboret That's right, but I don't want to wait another ten years either ... Either way, even if it comes out in 2022 or later, we can already tell that they will have taken their time for this sequel. So I don't worry too much about the quality of the game.
5:23 Pfft god damn it Link already starting forest fires- You know what, I think I'll call this the chaosling Link trailer because we would totally do all that lololol-
5:36 if you look very closely you can tell this footage was taken while the wiiu gamepad motion controls for the runes was still implemented at this time. The motion makes it obvious
The music is so good in the trailers, they build so good atmosphere, I feel that's what the game is lacking to be a "masterpiece". That and more and exciting cutscenes that are happening in the present.
Michael Withington-Walsh hey man. people like you that keep rushing games are the same ones that complain about them being rushed and poor quality. just know they're delaying it to make it all the more better.
I’m here to rewatch the BOTW trailers after the 3rd and final TOTK trailer has been released. It is April 15, 2023. TOTK drops in less than a month!! 🎉
I kind of wish Nintendo made Amiibo much less big than it is. It just locks Easter eggs and extra content behind action figures. It makes them a ton of cash tho
*Everyone talking about how glad they are that the guardians aren’t as fast as the trailer guardian* Me: *Cough cough* Thunderblight Ganon *Cough cough*
It starts as rito village full day and goes into the credits theme, but apparently it's a different song even though it uses those parts, for the full ost of this remix it's called life in ruins
As cool as that would be,I would love for him to actually be Zelda like in the ocarina manga impa sealed Zelda's mind and body and Replace it with Sheik
I actully don't like this game when is came out, because i like dark The legend of Zelda games, but after 3 years and some months came out prequel of that game, is Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a i was thinking isn't that bad game, is excellent. And then when i finished Age of Calamity, i was thinking is would be not bad play Breath of the wild, and this game in on my opinion was defenitly on top 5 best The legend of Zelda games
@BEANSPOBBLES yes, I grew up on Zelda, of course a change in the path is weird for me. It just doesn't really fit in my opinion, so though I respect your opinion, you can shut up about mine
Taran Carter We have mostly seen Wii U gameplay and like a minute of the switch and obviously since the Wii U is pretty weak it will suffer graphically and fps wise
Stuck? It would have been better, including touchscreen controls. They would have eventually released it on Switch anyway, and that version would have been improved and even better than what we have. Besides, the delays were mostly because of the Switch - the trailers show how much of the game was ready in 2015, but they gave up on selling Wii U consoles and decided to make it a timed exclusive for Switch launch.
It would have probably been better. The Sheikah slate was built around the Wii U Gamepad, but it the second screen turned out to be completely useless in the final version. And I have a very strong feeling that at least the last delay was caused by the switch port
