@@dotarsojat6171 I invest across the top markets but not by myself tho. i follow the guidelines of Alexandra Diana Jose. you might have heard of her.. I can correctly say she’s worth her salt as a investment advisor as her diversification skills are top notch/ I say because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 30 to 5O% on a monthly basis, unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what her place and not just on some particular industries of my choosing

One thing that I don't really like stashaway at the moment is because of their recent reoptimazation that sell KWEB at all-time low. They always ask us to perform DCA and not to be panic on market volatility. But what they did is buy high sell low. It really defeats the purpose of DCA. As investors, we can't even make a decision that say NO to their reoptimazation, at the end we are making actual loss and it take long time to recover that loss. The so called robo-advisor that is not AI driven...

SA was screwed by KWEB. I lost a bit of money but i exit quickly. Frankly, buying stocks yourself is the best. You have full control. No Unit Trust or AI Fund for me. For those not aware, Kenanga KDI Save currrently have promotion 3% until end of the year. Good for safe and guaranteed returns if you have nowhere else to put the money.

I literally lose money with StashAway, so withdrew after sometime. Even their own optimistic projection over 20+ years was showing such a bad return. Its actually a loss if consider opportunity cost.

I made money tho. But since I took a dollar cost averaging approach it took awhile, I saw positive returns around ~2019 onwards by 2021 it was up around 13% however recently it’s down again. Negative. Anyway investing in ETF is a patience game. If ur expecting returns within a year or two you will likely be disappointed. U have to average it out overtime

I was interested in robo advisors until I found out they are investing in etf. I think it's better for a lot of people to put money into an ETF that tracks top companies of a country than into a roboadvisor since you don't have to pay expense ratio for roboadvisor on top of the etf expense ratio

@@HAZIQQQ_ There is nothing wrong with robo except the additional fee, ETF itself is already automatically picking stocks for you. To buy an etf you need to go through a broker and buy one like how you buy a stock, its as easy as investing in roboadvisor

Why Stashaway Simple when KDI Save or Versa is much better? Stashaway Simple is the worse and slowest in terms of deposit / withdrawal! Also lowest interest rate!

it depend on your commitment. If you can sustain to pay monthly to ASBF you can go for ASBF. the advantages is you can get higher return compare to normal ASB. As for me, I am prefer use normal ASB (deposit by your own). This allowed me to deposit non-fixed amount of money to ASB. I have other commitment to pay hence i am not able to commit to pay ASBF monthly.

First thing you do when you have a monthly salary of 1.5k 1. Change a new job 2. Equip yourself with skills/industry knowledge 3. Eventually get a part time job while working as a permanent staff I personally find it pointless to invest if you can barely support monthly commitments and needs. In another aspect, if you are a Malaysian, you are already investing in KWSP while working. They do give out dividend annually.
