I feel like most of the people forget the latitude and longitude of India like India is not just a country but known as a subcontinent because it literally support every kind of climate, vegetation, wildlife and people with all skin tones and its history goes way back where lots of religion like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism started. For example you can find the first ever international university in India which was like a home for scholars around the world in 5th century, so one needs to hear their calling and visit to that particular state of India.
also we do not worship cows literally, we show them gratitude because in ancient india using meat for protein was not considered compassionate. so cows fulfilled our protein needs. and does not depends on hinduism too as in south india beef is eaten regularly because climate conditions made them more dependent on protein. we have temples of almost every animal as well because they help us in balancing nature. that is one misconception that should be corrected.

I actually visited india. Landed in sikkim it was so beautiful. And then to shimla. Last day we were at kashmir places were safe. On every social media videos. Theirs always sides in comment section about showing own side superior.
I am not fascinated by Modern buildings in India. I am fascinated by those huge ancient temples which are thousands of years old. How the hell our ancestors made such temples structures? Take Bhojeshwar Temple for example. Some Russian researchers came to the temple to study it, they made a video explaining it, and in the comments, their Russian viewers couldn't believe that Indians could make such things. Comments said, ''These things were not made by Hindus but a previous ancient culture that no longer exists'' They couldn't believe we can make such things lol😂

One thing that irks me a bit is whenever India is mentioned outside the only thing they show about indian culture, indian food etc or the stereotypes are only of North India. But North India doesn't represent the whole country. South India is very different. Then western India is again different in terms of culture, food etc. There js North-East India as well. It might fascinate you to know that most of us from the north-eastern part of India look quite similar to south-east asians than South Asians. So when people say you look Indian its not one specific look. Even Indian food, language, culture everything is so diverse. Geography, climate, everything changes region to region in India. You will find all kinds of ecosystems from hot deserts, to tropical rain forests to cold snowy landscapes to beaches etc

Some vloggers are showing negative bs just for views. I saw a vlogger who took Greyhound from Los Angeles to New York. His experience was pathetic. He saw armed robbery in a small town in Missouri and also was irked by a drunkard who was thrown out of the bus for bad behavior. That video got 3 million views. Then in India he took local bus from Delhi to Mumbai. His experience was borderline positive. That video got 500k views. However, the comments from American were like: Even though India is a 3rd World country and doesn't have good transport facilities the Indian people are lovely. USA has the World's largest aviation industry and their airline South West Airline is ranked as 8th best low cost airlines in the world. India on the other hand has World's 3rd largest aviation industry. Vistara is ranked as 17th best airline in the world and Indigo is the world's 3rd best low cost airline. Even the new Air India is fairly improved. Showing USA in a bad way doesn't affect USA because people are pretty familiar with USA. Showing India in a bad way affects India because people are not familiar with India.

Like people like nations. Anywhere it is the people who shape a country's growth and direction. Here, the people of India need to change their mindset....they are growing but their human conscience has to grow much more. The choices they make and the mindset they have will decide India's future. Most are not disciplined, they do not feel others' pain, and lack civic responsibility, throwing plastic and trash everywhere. Healthcare is way better and more affordable when compared to other European countries and America. Still, a long way to go, we are an 'in-between' aspiring economy ( not fully developed as we claim) it has to grow organically, currently, the economic growth is cosmetic and patchy, not well-rounded, meaning, the roads in cities and lanes are not good (poorly maintained) in most parts of India. Corruption still exists. China is classic when it comes to automation, maintaining culture and traditions with a sustainable modernization, and development (cities and villages) approach, they are well-balanced, and we should emulate and follow China, not the U.S.
As an Indian I am too depressed on your view once you leave your homeland and say that our Metro is dirty. I am sorry but you should be ashamed that you get to travel such long distance in such good money that even where you are you need to hard earned.

You can't deny the fact that majority of Indians aren't living in decent standard of life. Just taking some pretty shorts doesn't justify the agony and frustration of poor in india. We are already cooked from independence and still going like that. This country has improved a lot but not at the pace that could have been change the life of Indians drastically. Though , india is never been about modern architecture but about it's people , diversity , natural diversity and ancient architecture. And we also can't deny that more than 90% of India is not doing well enough to call their acceptable in any sense. I travel to most place. 90% of india looks like first video only few places even in metro cities looks modern. When I was in kerala in our village 99% of house is a villa. I say why foreigners show india like this. My brother who travelled to around 40 countries and stayed in many states in india he says india is not what you see around your house. Then i started travelling. Especially in north people living in worst conditions. Problem is most indians never travelled outside india. So getting a mall or flats is considered development. My brother says india needs atleast 80 years to be in the level of chinese infrastructure. One time u visit there u understand the scale of them.
