Man Mizitsune would've been perfect for the Coral Highlands and Gammoth for the Hoarfrost Reach, I'd say Astalos would've been fine in the Ancient Forest.
Mizutsune didn't make it into World because leviathans couldn't work in the game. Luckily it came back in Rise I don't have any explanations for the other two, but I hope they come back in Sunbreak alongside Glavenus Edit: Welp, we are getting Astalos now
Now this is epic. Btw Duremudira sounds like someone is screaming in the background. Fitting considering the lore behind it. For those who don’t know, Duremudira is the closest thing to a fightable Equal Dragon Weapon we’ve gotten. It was artificial life created to hunt Elder Dragons, and man, it was good at its job. Considering the atrocities that led to its creation, it sounding like a warped human scream and a roar fits like a glove.
@@ursulawerner3579 that doesn't make sense tho, you can't hard one shot Fatalis, his HP cannot go below his nova thresholds. Even if you dealt infinite damage, you would still need a minimum of 3 hits, and coincidentally the 3rd hit would only actually work after the hellfire roar.
damn Dire Miralis sounds like terror also, btw i think there's 1 more older version of Rathalos roar, from the 1st gen, but it is similar to that one so it's fine
@@Alicielle Hmm, Rajang, Yian Garuga, The Raths, Fatalis, Alatreon, and some others I can't think of immediately like Zinogre. I overexaggerated a bit in my first comment and I don't necessarily have a problem with it though I just think the original roars would've been better to not alter too much. Rajang seems to have a literal stock dinosaur sound at the ending part of his roar though so not sure of that. Yian Garuga is very Scratchy though the original one was a bit more iconic I guess. Zinogre is just generic big dog now, Fatalis no longer sounds like a windy eagle screech, and Alatreon's roar is actually better though it no longer sounds like the slightly altered Teostra roar he had before.
@@galaxyknight2869 I think I now know what you mean. Garuga for example, is original roar is, as you said iconic (and I love it :3) but the world one sounds; yes a bit generic but also like something a creatures of this kind can really do. Garuga original roar sounds extremely shrill like someone scraps metal on metal real hard, while the World one sounds more realistic you can say. I think it’s a design choice for world because it’s the more realistic entry and maybe tried to change some roars a bit so newer people are not too alienated by the sounds because it resembles something you might know. (But I love the new Thunder Pupper Roar xD)
I keep imagining how these monsters would interact in the world of RWBY, constantly battling against the Grimm because of how unnatural they are and how they're an afront to nature itself. Just imagine going through the Forever Forest to just across a Deviljho or a Nargacuga tearing apart any Grimm that get in their way. I'm still waiting for a fanfiction about Monsters interacting with the natural environment of RWBY. (Not referring to RWBY: MNTR or RMNT by Xenthas the Zingore, but you should check that story out by the way) More like the Monsters acting as themselves
