Joe is are Mr.Mustang of Canada we in Ontario are really "blessed' or really fortunate to have veteran racer like Joe and his beautiful wife who is very supporting for Joe DaSilva a true Canadian legend and my friend who has does so much with his racing shops in Ontario and Thank's Evan I always enjoy all your video's of the real racer in the world.Ty!
I remember these guys from way back in day. The Mustang vs Grand National days in Jersey. The baddest dudes of Joe 5.0, Revan Evan, Gene Deputy, Jimmy LaRocca, Stormin Norman, Racin Jason, Nitrous Pete, Wild Bill Devine etc...Freakin awesome to see this Box Top 😈😈😈🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I am extremely impressed with your efforts to bring all of these humble enthusiastic racers to the forefront Evan. Your character of laying low and not begging for all of the attention is by far more impressive to me than the typical over confident stereo type "acting too cool for school." Thanks Evan for all that you do in the racing community flying that "Blue Oval" banner.
❤😂😢😮😅😊 Evan that’s me with the mercury Zephyr has one bad mercury I like it and I like the color purple keep up the good work which I know you do and want you. The one was in magazines of Mustang and fabulous Fords you were I got quite a few of them. Take care bro doing good. Have a good day and a good week.
I think everyone needs a video on Evan smith the man the myth the legend. You rarely talk about yourself or your cars. I have old mm&ff magazines about 4 feet from where I’m sitting right now. To the Left and right. Arms reach.
What an awesome Zephyr. Please let us know if you’re coming to Canada Evan. I’m in the London Ontario area, and if I can make it to an event nearby, I’d love to meet.
Had a 78 Zephyr wagon with a factory 302 and towing package that shook up a lot of z 28 drivers and every one else this car looks good like something different but FORD
WOW!!! @4:54 or just after, you can see the floor-pan flex when he tachs up to his launch RPM - and with zero vehicle-weight-load on the engine!!!! Check out how the console moves independently of the dashboard hull! That really illustrates the sensation I got from riding in the passenger seat in my old '82 GT when my buddy still owned it! Even just in normal sedate street driving, I could feel the floor flexing under my feet as he let up the clutch in 1st gear, and the car started to move - I'm pretty sure that it's the transmission crossmember making that happen.
Awesome stuff...brings back memories of rushing out every month to grab the latest issue of MM&FF as soon as it hit the shelves...2 true legends of Fox body/5.0 racing history...BTW the 85-86 notch is one of the sexiest vehicles of the 80's and 90's, my all time favorite
Hi Evan! Just another classic video you keep pumping out! Great content sir! Really like Joe DaSilva, will be rooting for him and hope to see him this year at one of our Michigan Tracks. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Motown!
So cool! Great stuff Evan! I'm an old guy, so I definitely remember you from Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords. So this is a sealed Gen-3 Coyote, is it still duel fueled (direct & port injection) like stock?
I always love to come to the comments section of the videos where Evan drives something to look for the new guard giving him driving advice... it's always good for a laugh for me. Nice gracious interviewee to lay out the compliments like that at the end.
❤😂😂😂😮😊😊😊 nine second for 3000 pound car that’s pretty damn good I like to see the aids but it takes a lot of time and money but your homeboy buddy could do it from Canada. Take care peace out.
Impressive. So does that mean my tuned 20' f150 5.0 will take the daily driving commute and spirted driving with say 10 WOT per round trip. With the typical scary engine noises at idle and the wonderful chain rattle on de acceleration, might have it on light acceleration too. Do these sealed engines have any of these characteristics? Or are the two engines not even comparable and im screwed? I realize cam, intake ( which i have a 18 gt one to swap in ), firing order, headers, oil pump gears, timing cover and front accessories locations are different.
@@stephenhans189nice. We lived in a duplex at the time. Of course that was about 26 years ago lol. Now I have a small machine shop in my garage and help with other peoples racecars and projects.
