Hi Haley, I know that you posted this video a long time ago but I struggle with Orthostatic Hypotension which is a form of Dysautonomia. It's similar to POTS. The only difference is that instead of high heart rate when upright or standing up, my blood pressure drops when I'm upright or stand up. I was recently diagnosed with Orthostatic Hypotension on June 26th of this year when I was 25 years old. I also struggle with Auditory Processing Disorder. I was diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder when I was 8 years old. Lastly, I struggle with Anxiety and Depression. I've struggled with Anxiety and Depression since I was 10 years old.

The premonitory urge that precedes the tic is involuntary, not the actual tic. Tics can be suppressed and masked. I had my first onset of Tourette’s at age 7, in fact it happened the day the space shuttle Challenger exploded. I went without a diagnosis for 24 years and was finally diagnosed in 2010 at age 31.

I don't have any of these ( that I know of) but I am guessing that having one of them is hard to deal with but having all of them and still being happy just shows how strong you are! I do not know you personally so I can't say that you are or are not happy but from everything you do like RU-vid and caring for your rabbits you seem like a wonderful person!

The 7 first are neurological and mental disorders, not chronic illnesses and some aren’t illnesses at all, rather neurological conditions. Chronic illnesses are physical diseases and physical disorders, but not necessarily encompassing all disabilities (being an amputee is not a chronic illness because it’s not an illness, for example). The two chronic illnesses you have are POTS and gastroparasis.

Major Depressive Disorder and Anxiety
@kaitlynlusk817

My doctor diagnosed me with anxiety and depression when I was about 18 years old, exercise induced asthma at around 22 years old, syncope at around 22 years old, and a heart murmur at 23 years old. We’ve done many tests for my heart but haven’t found a cause for the chest pains or murmur yet. I have one more test, the stress test where I run on a treadmill and they watch what my heart does. I also need to have surgery on my foot next month to remove a soft tissue mass that is pressing on a nerve and causing pain, numbness, swelling and some disfigurement in my last toe. I also have really sensitive skin and used to struggle with neuro-dermatitis but using topical steroids to control the rashes and medications to control my anxiety have helped the dermatitis to almost completely clear. I’m really sorry you have to deal with all of those health issues. You’re such a sweet person, it doesn’t seem fair that you should have to go through it.

Hi Haley! I found you through your main channel. I have two rabbits as well. I have been diagnosed with major depression, then bipolar II, agoraphobia (it comes and goes) and ADHD. I have panic attacks and anxiety attacks as well. I believe I have dyslexia, OCD, Tourette's, and Aspergers as well. I am going back to my country to have tests done, so that I have the answers to my symptoms. My other illnesses (non-mental, if you will) are Polycystic Ovaries (I believe it is called in English. Bare with me, English is not my mother tongue :) ) sugar resistance, allergic rhinitis, and asthma. I wanted to thank you for your videos, because they helped me realise the answers to some of my symptoms like OCD and Tourette's. You are very inspiring. Lots of love. :)

Hey! Thank you for putting these videos out here :) hope you're doing well! I am beginning my diagnoses journey, and strongly believe that I have POTS too. I noticed in your diagnoses video that you mentioned you are from Wisconsin, me too! I'm wondering, who was the cardiologist that you went to for your diagnoses? He sounds really great and I would love to go see him. Thank you again for your videos ❤️

I've been watching 101rabbits every now and then for a while and never knew you dealt with so many illnesses. Keep your strength and optimism, it's inspiring! 😊 and thank you for sharing! I also have OCD and ADHD. And instead of Auditory PD, I've got Language and Sensory Processing Disorder and other learning disabilities. I've got PCOS, sleep apnea, hEDS, bipolar II, etc. etc. I've successfully recovered from PTSD and anorexia! I'm always glad to come across young people with multiple chronic illnesses, it makes me feel less alone (: I'm an Aspie but I don't consider it a disorder, just a difference. Have you ever taught about Aspergers syndrome? Or EDS? I'm asking given your specific illnesses. I don't know you well enough to give am opinion ^^'

Chronic depression means that you''ll have it with you all through life. That doesn't mean you are sad every day or can't be happy, just that it's easy to trigger during moments of stress, sadness, or sometimes even at random. With therapy and (possibly) the right medication, you can learn to live with it. Just like most other mental disorders or chronic illnesses. Having had a depression that already lasted more than two years, I was diagnosed with dysthymia, or persistent depressive disorder. Hope that helps a bit. :)

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (something you might want to look into/get checked for since you have both POTS and Gastroparesis which are associated with EDS - I have hypermobility type, the most common), Mast Cell Activation Disorder (also associated with EDS and POTS), POTS, IBS, chronic migraines, and not yet officially diagnosed Aspergers/autism spectrum disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, PTSD, some form of anxiety/panic disorder, and depression. Stay strong and remember there are other people out there going through the same things - you're never alone.

I’m familiar with both EDS and MCAD. I’ve had chronic dislocations on my knee caps and even had to have surgery in my left knee to keep it from popping out. However I’m not sure I meet the diagnostic criteria considering I’ve only had issues with my knees. But I definitely want to be aware of it and talk it over with my doctors. Thanks so much for your comment!
@discoverwithdusty7942
@discoverwithdusty7942 6 лет назад
Well if you've only had issues with your knees then it could be less likely, but it's always possible to just be more prone to dislocations in certain joints than others. :) I personally rarely ever fully dislocate, but have frequent subluxations in my knees, shoulders, hips, etc. Everyone with EDS is different, but if you don't feel it matches your experiences and symptoms then obviously it's totally up to you whether or not you want to investigate it.
