All Names of Power 

Hi everyone! I am the DEDICATED Total War Warhammer 3 player who created this juicy army. Thank you Legend for reviewing this army, I was shaking and giggling like a little girl the whole time. As for everyone else, thank you for the appreciative comments. I questioned myself many times while creating the whole thing, but it was all worth it in the end... I think. 😀 Also, I just want to point out one thing about the Master recruitment limit. The Black Ark's Master recruitment building ignores the capacity. Once you have that, you can recruit all 19 at the same time. Since every Black Ark Mechanism is broken.

Quite impressive. All of them put together almost rival the number Titles that Settra has. Almost.

One upside to this doomstack is that you only have to do the work once. After you've made it you can use it in any number of future campaigns.

Names of power are the same for all characters and missile dmage/ammunition are there for the crossbow dreadlords.

Legend maybe a new series, or well spinoff from doomstacks, is rating crapstacks. As you mentioned, AI being incredibly skittish about auto-resolve means there is a need for armies that absolutely suck in AR, but wreck face in manual. What kind of armies are great at baiting sufficient attacks, that lead to strategic victories where the enemy continually trickles in armies and you just wipe them over and over so conquest can proceed?

@LegendofTotalWar The traits have ranged ability and stat boosts because they share the same power pool with the male dreadlord who comes with a crossbow Masters on any of their mounts, including a cold one chariot, get no ranged attack option, just like the female dreadlord.

I still want to see 90% invincible Skarbrand with skaven friends, i think this would be extreme case for those impractical doomstack

at 16:50 I like how one of the masters stands out of the onslaught and just chills and lights his cigarette and smokes and watch his comrades doing the job

There's a glitch currently with DE that when a character is wounded, they get the name of power dilemma each time

I think that items that give some bound spells may improve that vanity stack. Especially one with Dwellers below.

Hero stacks don’t do well without wizards. Most heroes don’t deal good area of effect damage. These Masters most certainly don’t. Took them 15 bloody minutes to cut through the vampires. This army could really use 2-3 sorceresses endlessly spamming the flock of doom.

At a certain point, it stops being an RTS and become two very well armed spreadsheets battling eachother.

I think the strongest doomstack that I've seen is the leadership debuff one. Think it was with Beastmen?

In my campaign for Hellebron I confederated Morathi and all her heroes (not agents) had 3 names of power. I don't know if it was a bug or a coincidence. I didn't notice this with another dark elf nation I confederated with, but it's quite a powerful thing. When you catch the right set of names.

How the hell is this only turn 162? Painting the map in just 162 turns would have been incredibly impressive back in ME. Surely there's no way to do that legitimately in IE?

I think you can give masters, assassins, and death hags a Rubric of Dark Dimensions or a Khaine's ring of Fiery Convocation to make this stack truly top tier. The Rubric gives you a bound pit of shades and the Khaine's ring gives you a bound Fiery Convocation spell. In my Malekith campaign, I gave those to my masters, and it was disgusting. Have them go get blobbed up by infantry and drop that spell on top of them to knock 4-5 units down to half health. Granted, there's not much point to doing it since most armies should have a sorceress anyways.

noticed before when trying to get multiple thoreks in my dwarf campaign he was not invulnerable so he could be killed and not respawned, dunno if that was fixed afterwards

This is so quick and easy to make. With the lords you get a trait when you load them in, and a trait when you disband them. Firstly a level 10 hero can be hired on turn 2 if you break down your buildings. So start a game, play to turn 2, then hire them. If its not the one you want reload the quicksave. I have a bunch of lords with every trait. You just load it in (thats one trait option), then when you disband them it makes you select another one. He has clearly just copied the saved character as it would be a more difficult feat to get them all with the same face unless he used variant selector.

It kinda feels Legend didn't want this to be an OP doomstack. Literally leaving 2 units afking the whole battle, and letting another 2 take the brunt, alone, in the middle of the enemy force, while the others remained clumped and had each other's backs. Right-clicking once at the beginning of the battle, then taking your hands of the keyboard isn't viable for ANY doomstack. You still need to keep them all together.

We can appreciate the effort I guess lol. That’s impressive. And no cheating or anything from my pov, it’s mechanics present in the game, it doesn’t involve a mod or an exploit that break one or couple of these mechanics, so it’s free of any criticism. Well done to him.

could you make a (or is there already a video of) tierlist of good mounts/animations?

I believe that MA/MD differential limit is much more than 50, plus you have flanking penalties, so 86 MD is actually too low to not care about debuffing enemy MA. Obviously there's no point in buffing these ones further, as they managed to kill 4 stacks with a lot of HP to spare, but technically aura stacking and some armors of destiny would elevate this doomstack to just stupid levels of OP.

Not that any upstanding citizen who calls themselves a LegendofTotalWar fan would ever use SaveParser or other SFedit software to achieve absurd levels of hilarity, it is entirely possibly to trait manage multiples of the same Names of power. In particular Barbstorm can be stacked to provide over +150% range and +300% missile damage to your entire army, transforming any ranged unit into an artillery piece. In a similar vein it is also possible to stack multiple Malus Isilvar followers (x12) on a few heroes to achieve a stacking +8% physical resistance (+96%). If by some happenstance you also trait manage 9 Heinrich Kemmlers you can obtain a lovely 90% magic resistance, also for your whole army. But nobody here would ever consider using such underhanded tactics, I surely don't.

Heh, this doomstack is funny in a sense that it's a generic lord and 19 heroes... who are more elite (just by sheer mass of bonuses they provide) that some legendary lords.

Is volley of dark arrows the skill that shows up on DreadLords skill tree upon recruiting but is no where in their skill line?

This is very strong, and I will never attempt to make it. 😂 That Nurgle stack is still the number 1 in my book.

In WH2 you can use the inf respec mod and receive multiple names on every character? but it`s very tidious

The Names of Power are the same options that Dreadlords get, and Dreadlords with Crossbows 'need' the missile stuff.

I got more traits when I disbanded a lord, they got the option to choose another name. I didn't repeat it enough to know that it's 100% how it worked for me

all the traits that affect ranged abilities and ammo i think were intended for the crossbow dreadlord and they just forgot to remove them from the pool for masters

On melee defense: There is always a minimum percent chance to hit; not sure exactly what that chance is [probably 1-in-20, so five] so you could have Brettonian Peasant Mobs here, and they'd *still* get hits in every so often.

Shouldn't you be able to just copy and rename the save files even on legendary to create 15 duplicates of the start of the turn of your current campaign and load these clone saves?

Is that possible with Yvresse as well? I mean the Lords and Heroes can choose a Miswalker name . Can you double them as well?

The thing for ranged attacks is there even though masters have no ranged attacks because it's the same trait for khainite assassins

impressive 1st wave melting.. the Zombie Dragon blood knights Vargeist then crypts horrors started falling. number of units before the wave of others seperated the dark elf heros a smidge

It's really easy to duplicate the characters once you have one perfect one. You can use a hexeditor, or as I did and wrote a script that spits out as many copies as you want in a second

it would be cool if there is a chance to dismount horse(smaller mount) and rather have large mounts have their own health pool, so you kill the mount first, dismount him and kill the lord? I dunno man, can't really think of a proper solution to the mount problem

As soon as I heard the claim that it was the strongest, I called bullshit, because Masters aren't unbreakable. The best doomstack in my eyes is the Pompous Hero doomstack. Brings their leadership to zero (Before added modifiers for that battle) and access to some of the best mounts in the game. No matter what, no matter how much damage they can take, it all means nothing when they break. If that army loses twice in a single turn, they're gone. All this without any items as well, and with items become unstoppable.

to be fair, I think its only fair if you rate this one exactly because all doomstacks in WH3 are vanity stacks. So at least an A for effort would have been nice.

i give this doomstack 10 out of 10 Vanity Points, since i like the voice actor for the Master heroes

Nooooo legend now CA will fix this. I was enjoying using Shadowdart, Barbstorm, and Grey Vanquisher on the same lords. It's actually easier than you describe. Load a save, load the character, get event, save character, reload save without saving it and repeat. No need to go back a turn as long as you don't save with the character in the game. Works just fine on legendary since there's no forced save from the event.

So, you can get bardstorm and shadowdart on the same guy? How are DE LL any ggod anymore?

Even seeing all this, a khorne minotaur doomstack is still the fastest way to clear 4 full stacks of anything
