i'm a toyota guy but this gmc is getting me to think again about what my next suv would be. only thing is holding me back is waiting to see how the new redesign 22 sequoia and tundra will look like and what kind of gadgets do they come with.
Good review. 2020 does have adaptive cruise and better MPG and slightly better turn radius (obviously). I like the camera views and mirror. Dislike gear selector, IRS open diff, auto shutoff, and tablet style rear screens...that now does not have blu-ray.
Magnetic ride sounds cool but every GM i've been in, its way too stiff. Thats fine in a camaro or corvette but not in a big SUV with 22s. FINALLY adding air suspension is good on GM. On my Touareg it's a feature i regularly use bc of how versatile it is. Good to see GM add this to their new SUVs. This is definitely a big upgrade over the last gen. I still think it's a bit overpriced though.
I have the SLT with the 18" wheels. In my opinion the ride in my SUV is better than the Denali. Plus I was towing a trailer and the Higher sidewalls are better for carrying a load.
Nice review. GM is finally catching up to the Higglander of 8 years ago. 2013 Highlander, 2nd row bench or captain's chairs...recline and slide. ALSO, the 3rd row seatback will recline backwards. GM while they are my favorite SUV, has failed MISERABLY with seating arrangements since at least 2000.
I bought new, a 2018 Yukon Denali XL, Ultimate Black Edition. I think mine is sharp and was wondering do the new ones have a comparable model? Mine has 50k on the odo now and still looks perfect, but maybe next year buy a new one. Ohh yea, mine has adaptive cruise control and it really sucks.

Yes! by that hideous back and front! It looks like it smashed into a wall! It’s definitely more masculine. We test drove the 2020 and 2021 in Aug of 2020. Both Ultimate edition XL Denali’s , same price and went with the 2020. We had a 2018 Expedition Max Limited and New Yukon has just as much cheap plastic interior as the Ford! No digital dash and the entertainment system is not user friendly for families with small children like ours. There’s no difference in cargo space and huge issue with lifters going haywire on the 2021s.
