The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and the Cadillac Escalade account for 50% of all large SUV sales in the US. GM makes 340,000 of them every year and exports about 80,000 to 31 countries. They’re made in GM’s plant in Arlington, Texas, which is said to be the most profitable assembly plant in the world. We estimate they generate $20 billion in revenue for GM and about $4 billion in profits. Autoline Daily.
These cars look 5 years apart rather than 1. What a difference in height. The 2021 is much better from every perspective possible. The front grill kicks butt. I hope GMC does not change it in any way. The 2021 Yukon Denali is better looking than the Cadillac Escalade, the Lincoln Navigator and the Chevrolet Suburban. GMC has hit the ball out of the park with the 2021 Yukon Denali XL. Advice. GMC must give the 3rd row more leg room and make it as luxurious as the 2nd row because there are a lot of families out there with 4 kids.
Nice comparison. They did a good job with the 2021 Yukon. Only thing I would had preferred is that they should had increased the tire width instead of going the other way. Wider tires makes for a better stance and overall look imo.
Visually they look identical. I'm guessing there's a more negative wheel offset on the 2021, but I could be wrong. I've got to investigate it a bit and see why that change was made, I'm curious! Thanks for watching and commenting David!
Totally prefer the 2020. I can’t get onboard with the Expedition look and plastic-y interior on the 21. I have a 2020 XL ultimate and love her. I researched the heck out of both before purchasing and 1st year models make me nervous. I noticed some things they skimped on for the 21 vs 20.
I thought the shifter would bother me more than it did. I've been driving them around so much now that I don't even notice it, its just become muscle memory. Thanks for watching Marie!
Is it hard to see over the dashboard when you’re driving the 2021 compared to the 2020? The dashboard seems way too tall over the gage cluster on the 2021 for short people to see well while driving.
I don't believe they are much different there, or at least its not something I noticed. One seat may have been adjusted lower, or the steering wheel adjusted lower...everything can be moved to suit your needs!
Why doesn’t the new model come with 3rd row entertainment screens? The pervious generation had them so did the one before it. That’s the only thing I find lacking.
