My dream craft room has been 15 years in the making. From the day I found this hobby I always had a space to create even if it was a small area. I have spent so much time purging and organizing it so that I can feel inspired when I come in to create.

Thank you for sharing this. I have seen the same evolution happen with me, as I'm sure many of us have, where I started in a space at the end of my dining room table, currently in a storage shed turned she-shed in my yard. We have just purchased another house where we'll be moving to and I will finally have a beautiful craft room in one of the spare bedrooms. We'll be moving in three weeks and I can't wait to get started on doing that space. Ikea, here I come! 😂 In the meantime, the purging has been done in my current craft shed and I will not be taking that apart until we're ready to go. Crafting after a long day of packing my current house is so relaxing for me. Your room looks beautiful! Congratulations on getting it done. 🎉🥂

Beautiful craft room. Having way too many supplies and feeling overwhelmed describes me perfectly. Unfortunately I’m one of those people who can’t part with anything. I feel like I’m being wasteful if I get rid of things. I really need to work on that.

I am a not so grownup married woman with grownup up children - I got Fed up of people n other family members telling me to pack up my mess, pack away the canvasses n paints- little did they know that if they did the same then they would not end up with mental health problems. Because of horrid comments I hid my creativity for 2 years- i hid my paints packed away my embossing macines n Emphemera in boxes and bags- FINALLY I got Fed up and stopped inviting people around which made me feel SO much better.

Wow, you've come a long way from a small desk back in 2008. I think I saw that 2016 video becuz I've been following your channel for a long time. Honestly, all your craft room setups look just as pretty and cozy to me. But you're right, I like the new setup better. It has more character and is more lived-in if that makes any sense. I got a new craft room last year and purchased brand new furniture from IKEA. I love my space, but once again this year I am doing a purge. I got rid of so much stuff last year when I moved into my room. I had boxes and boxes of stuff I either donated or threw away. Well now this year once again I am going through stuff I will not use and disposing of it. It is so easy to get over loaded with stuff. I think when I am done this time, I will be happy for awhile. When I purchase something, I have to ask myself if I really need it and if I already have something like it. That limits adding more to my room and less I will have to purge later. Enjoy your room.

Wow this is a great space. Do any of your earlier videos show what you keep in the Alex drawers? I have been cleaning, not too much purging but just buying what I love which is paper and that it gets consumed is a good thing.

Going to be setting up my stamp room in new house soon so enjoyed seeing some decorative items in your room. Old room was smaller so didn't have room for much. RA is horrible! 😢 I sympathize because I too have RA plus Systemic Lupus. Even though it’s different for each sufferer, I can at least relate. Your room is beautiful! I just got my craft room dream. We enclosed our back porch and 75% of the space is mine (the rest is my hubby’s). It’s long but narrow and I’m making it work. Now I just need the energy to play.

Thank you for showing the progression of space and furniture that took time to evolve into this beautiful area. I’m 63 so I can remember where I set up my sewing/crafts and adapted when I began painting. You enjoyed painting at the dining room table when we weren’t using it. I like being in the middle of everything….lol I just found paper crafts about 3 years ago after I was forced into retirement after teaching Math 36 years. I turned on RU-vid to look for watercolor tutorials and found something that was so exciting!! My husband even drove me 2 hours and had me buy some paper and other items at Michaels, TM…way before I could go alone because he heard the excitement and hope it brought just learning and watching ya’ll. Again, I’m so happy for you, Tiffany!! Very proud too that you didn’t stop for the summer before you were finished!!! Oh! I laughed when you said you were “over it “ by that time and kids were going to be without school….lol. I’ve felt exactly same at a couple times in my life. Doesn’t it take EVERY ounce of “push” to get back at it… Thank you for sharing. It’s always good to see people excited especially for something when we patiently waited for it.. Can you tell me which ink holders you use for your 3x3 distress inks because they look like they fit well and don't float around like they do in a lot of ink holders.

Love this video, especially the 'over the years' opening. However, your definition of 'hot mess' and mine are very different.😂 I am about as many years into this and am struggling to come up with a new layout. I'm glad you didn't show what's in every drawer. It's important to see how you use each station, printing, filming, art making, supplies. Inspiring! It was great to see the evolution of your craft spaces over the years. I’m impressed by your massive purge! I’m the eternal optimist and can always see a way to use something, but of course that doesn’t mean I do use it! omg, so much inspiration here. I’m at that point where I’m doing the exact same thing as far as purging. I know I can easily match your two bins if not 3 to fill as well. I could literally set someone up with a store. I find I’m constantly rearranging and not creating- duh! Your room is stunning, I’m envious and thank you mostly for inspiring us to truly let go!

Love it Tiffany! I went through my stuff when I moved into my craft space a year ago, but I think I may have not been honest enough with what I wanted... maybe just didn't know myself yet so I kept things just in case. I think it may be time to either make a lot more and use what I have or go through it and purge again. Vertical space is a real challenge for me because I only have brick walls to drill into and I don't want to change my mind after I put something up - which I do a lot because I just never know how I want things to be. I have to try several things before I figure it out. Hence 3 different coats of paint in my space. My husband is on strike now. LOL

Hello. Purging is hard but it is so worth it in the end. I didn't get rid of 100% of stuff that I won't use. I still have my craft closet to go through LOL! The scissor holder my husband 3d printed for me. I hope that helps.

IKEA.O the joy of their furniture in a craftroom. Yes I know. The only thing that doesn't spark joy in that store is the scented candle crap they have stashed at the exit that way after a headache in a full store ( note to self, do not shop at Ikea on a saturday with screaming kids at the end of the day if you want to get out of that store with no headache ) why do they do that? Must be a strategy behind that but till this day have not found it :P I did ended up giving the floor manager a really bad case of the giggles when I suggested him to either move that or the exit :P have m stash the scented stuff on parking place with roof or a greenhouse for all I care :P
