GAC and toyota had joint ventures they manufactured some of its cars in china like camry and siena to name a few. I’m not surprise they have their own version of alphard.
Got to ride this with the new Alphard in Shanghai. Really premium and parang hindi Chinese car, but the Alphard was just a generation ahead pagdating sa NVH and refinement. For its price tho i think it has what it takes. The Super Grandia Elite will still take the cake in our market for sure.
@@KyleLiongCars similar siya sa previous-gen Alphards which is already good sa totoo lang Kyle. My parents were shocked it was a Chinese car. We used Didi btw. They offered an Alphard and the Hongqi HQ9 pati the Buick GL8 which we got to ride in as well, dun namin nacompare. Mas maraming amenities and features yung Chinese cars pero pagdating sa refinement Id pick the Alphard parin if not for its bloated sticker price.
Parang generally ok rin naman yung mga Geely ah? Isolated cases lang just like most established brands rin naman haha! More than 1 year na Coolray ko no issues :D
They need to lower their prices to really gain market share. Build their brand reliability and reputation for a few years. They may be associated with Toyota but they are not in the same level of brand reputation as Toyota.
The base model is 40% lower from the SRP of the Alphard. How much lower does it have to be? And that's SRP haha! Reselling prices for the Alphard is much higher.
@KyleLiongCars Pricing still puts them at a prestige level where the market is snobbish re brand names, when they need to go get aggressive and get people to buy their product because the deal just seems insane. Take TCL as an example, after just a few years they are now in the conversation w Samsung and Sony.
Seems you are walking in a dark streets without wearing any shoes and yet you did feel nothing.... The GAC is one of the most reliable automotive manufacturers in the world. Stop being traditional minded dahil made in china yan eh kahit ang bmw loncin ang supplier ng mga parts niyan. Ang toyota sa china din kumukuha ng parts. Better do some research stop fooling yourself crab mentality..
On the fence. They’ll still go for the Alphard iba reputation ng Alphard as a highballer car compared to this eh. Same thing in Shanghai mas marami paring Alphards and the Buick GL8s compared to the locally-made ones.
The model you showed is actually the top tier GX master variant, not the entry-level GL master variant. All the features you mentioned are part of the higher end variant as indicated in the car brochure.
@@KyleLiongCars But thanks for the great quick first look, have been waiting for this car to arrive for months, but honestly a bit disappointed when I saw the feature list, was expecting the top variant to be the hybrid or PHEV version they sell in China. For 4M, it is quite close to the hybrid Alphard already. They also removed the TV, the 16 speaker Yamaha sound system, and the LCD screen controls on the captain seats (which is pretty standard on the top master variant in china). Thinking that the GWM Wey Gaoshan (High Mountain) which will also be released this year, might be a better deal.
They probs had to remove those for functionality reasons or price. In theory, already close to the Alphard HEV, but if’s so hard to get those for SRP :((
That RU-vid Channel is funded by the American government and CIA 😂 They're the equivalent of SMNI in China as the onwer of that RU-vid Channel owns a cult group in China and he believes that he's much superior than God just like Quiboloy 😂
Sabihin mo close minded ka lng...or colonial mentality...anu nmn kung made in china?e kung globally distributed sya..?tanga ka ba?mag research ka...kung anu2 kasi inaatupag mo...ung cellphone na ginamit mo mag comment d2 100% made in china yan...umay ng mga tao 2lad mo..
This “review” is nothing more than an infomercial for what is a hyped up miniaturized minivan. In all honesty, the front looks just plain ugly and plasticky. And notice how incredibly narrow it is. I didn’t see anything truly luxurious about it in this video.
Read the title, it's a "First Look", not a review. They were invited to the launch of the M8 yesterday, expect other youtubers to release their "First Looks" soon too.
