As a mechanical engineer, I really hope the engineers will drive the cam shafts by chain. And not with a teeth belt. Which needs to be replaced between 80 000 / 100 000km operation. And those maintenance services, are quite expensive. So please, chain drive for the cam shafts.
i agree they need a 200hp engine minimum however electric engines are not comparable to any combustion engine. what you mean was they should make an E-Miata.
@@markmiller6751 its not a cayman gts. No turbo. 184hp on about 1120kg car should be enough to enjoy if you know how to use an aspirated engine. What car are do you usually use? Because if you use one with a turbo then this Miata needs more effort, more experience and less fear for pushing it hard. The drift is alwais behind the corner.
@@markmiller6751you know literary nothing about cars, a Miata was never designed for straight line performance, it was never meant to be fast, if you want a fast car then just buy a mustang for that price, but it won’t be about to corner, many people prefer handling and fun over speed along, it’s ok the like speed over everything else but just keep in mind that most people will disagree with you and it is their opinion
@DavisPruder-hz4zi You know little(being kind) about SPORTS CARS. My background is racing karts and tracking Miatas. All the cars modified by enthusiasts were never meant to go that quickly, straight, or corners. We change their applications and improve them. Again, it has nothing to do with what they were designed for. Read. Go to a race. Learn. Again, Mustangs are too big and too heavy and I don't care what others want. I am expressing what I want.
@@viivcreations9161 He didn't say he wanted one, he said they should change the design. I asked "to what?" cause I don't understand what design change he wants. To me, nothing wrong with the design or the engine/trans as it stands.
