In the summer I freeze Dr Pepper on ice trays (any soda) and put the cubes in a glass and add Dr. Pepper. That way it doesn't get the watered down taste..

Hacks. On the candle issue: taper candlesticks are used today for aesthetics, unless you want the drip look. Container candles are for pleasure. Honestly, do what you want, it's your house!🥰 If I light tapers, it's usually a special occasion❣️

For pancakes…put dry ingredients into the bottle then add wet ingredients and shake to mix…saves having to use a funnel to get it into the bottle.

Fresh fruit in containers with lids is a great idea, but if kids serve themselves, I would use plastic containers & a scoop, not a spoon to retrieve fruit. No scoop, a dry ingredient measuring cup makes a great scoop in a pinch. Thanks, Liz, for these great ideas and them being all new! 💜

I always burn my candles-I want to enjoy them and they are so much prettier when they burn. But one thing I have done with those huge candles is to burn it until a hole in the wax is large enough to insert a tea light candle. Then, I just light the tea light. You get the flame without burning away the decorative candle.

There are so many common household items that will remove labels & sticky residue. You only need a little... Wd40, Baby oil, Any cooking oil, Peanut butter, Oil based body butter or lotions. Hope this helps people like me who don't own a hairdryer. Succulent garden in old light fixture. Genius! /You can blend watermelon & make popsicles for the kids or kids at heart. Burn or don't burn candles? Your house, your money, do what makes you happy. The only way to live! Liz, really great video! 🙂💜

I find feather pillows to be the best and most comfortable couch pillows. Also if you like punching your pillows they are best for that as well. I’m not a pillow puncher, but I love feather pillows, and use them all over my house.

WD40 removes stickers easily. I then clean with dawn to remove the grease. Great HACKS. I used to make smiley face pancakes for my son. Make the face features first and then make a regular pancake over it. Did his initials as well.

Great hacks! Just an FYI…An auto mechanic friend of mine told me not to attach other items to a key ring because over time the added weight of the key ring will eventually wear on the ignition and could cause other issues with the starter….so just keep that in mind and don’t overload your key ring😳💕

Liz, I love all your hacks! I made a succulent planter in the same vessel but did it a different way. I will have to try this hack. I saw on a cooking show that you can make funnel cakes with the pancake mixture and the same container. ❤❤❤

I use my sink drain to hold up anything that I am pouring in when using a funnel. It doesn’t move or fall over. If you have a small space to prepare food but you have top drawers use a cutting board and place it in the drawer. You now have extra space.

Loved the pillow hack! I have pillow slip covers that I love, but the pillows I put inside the covers are almost flat now. Great idea to go a few inches larger on the inserts! I’m from Olathe, KS, BTW

In regards to the moss... it helps if you submerge the moss warm water first and squeeze out the extra water. It makes it easier to handle and separate.

I'm a fan of flameless candles since I hear the smoke isn't good to breath from wicked candles. Plus, flameless ones stay looking nice. For smell, I use an oil diffuser.

Hacks! Burn the candles, then when only a little remains...put it in freezer and pop it out. Save this for a wax melt or put on your campfire. It will make camping smell great!

Hi Liz! Love your hack videos. I am going to try the marshmallow fudge stripe cookie one. i learned from my family in law( they own a jewelry store) when traveling with necklaces, to keep them from tangling, get some of the small zip bags. They are for storing beads. You can find them everywhere. Anywho, place your necklace in the bag and leaving a small amount of the chain/clasp sticking out. Zip it closed and they will not get tangled.

What i would do in regards to the candles...get a candle warmer...the candle will melt , letting u experience the candle...then when it isn't warming will turn back into the solid candle.

I use safety pins. Keep a jar of them in laundry room. Attach them at the toe, then when you take them out of dryer, just put safety pins back in jar. Works every time🥰

I feel you should Absolutely burn them!! The feeling I get when I’m at someone’s house with burnt or burning candles is warm, welcoming, inviting, peaceful.. memories .. all the good feels!! When the candles are not burned I have a feeling of.. Don’t touch that, Don’t sit there.. strict, cold, unwelcome.. STOP TOUCHING THAT!🤭 I always light a new candle when i put it out.. I love seeing a black wick ❤
