I think the fire icon has something to do with lighting part of the mines on fire as part of a boss battle. It could also just be a new icon for how much power the flashlight, glow stick, lighter and candle have.

To be honest the first screech animation looks like you closed something on them and they are trying to break through something

The first screech animation is maybe for a modifier that makes screech fight back or that is screech's main purpose in floor 2, the second screech animation is probably a reworked version that makes screech look less stiff

im ngl everyones probably just gonna skip to the part with the new entity

I think the tentacles and head go together forming an entity which looks like screech but is slightly different. I guess the new animations belong to that entity
