These weapons are beyond gorgeous. Multiple glows in one, great looking base form, lots of details. My new favorite for most of the jobs, here's to progging a new ultimate. Grats to the design team on these.

I love the particle effects on these, especially the blocky "glitches" that appear. Really like the Monk Gauntlet instead of the big mittens they sometimes get. What's with the weird blue faces though on some of the models though? It's most clear on the Dragoon's spearhead. Also not a huge fan of the Machinist base model, but I've never liked the weird oversized fantasy squirt guns they get 75% of the time.

The faces can be found on every version of omega. I haven't seen the new phase(s) for ultimate yet but on the back of the frog/normal omega is a face, and the face on m/f and final omega also roughly matches. Cheers!

Funnily enough the big fantasy guns make the most sense with the gameplay. I’ve seen people putting regular guns into the game like assault rifles and it just doesn’t work…

Paladin sword is probably my favourite followed by reaper. Wish shield could be bigger, but that's just me liking massive shields. Otherwise paladin and reaper are definitely my faves, others are great too.

Another fun note is that these weapons have their own unique unsheathing audio effect! If I recall correctly, it's the same sound that O12S Omega uses when he summons laser armaments.

I'm not sure if I am rushing out to get any of these (well, it's not like I have cleared or even tried any ultimates anyway, though I am sure I will someday), but I really like some aspects of them. They grew on me the more I watched, probably need to see them in game as well. I really like how the particle effects accelerate when they change to purple and you get the blocky effects coming off them, it puts to mind the idea of Omega adapting on the fly and forcing the weapons to change form. The circuitboard lines that come off the weapons occasionally are a really nice touch too. They're certainly well above the dragonsong weapons for me. Dragonsong weapons had an interesting idea I guess, but it just didn't land for me, the colours were a HUGE part of that IMO as well as just how overly busy they were (and not really in an interesting way, as opposed to the feathers on these), and I also found the base weapons to be not too great for that set. edit: Had a look in game and yeah, these are gorgeous.

This is the first Ultimate weapon with a matching armor set. The purple disagrees with me, but I love the neutrality of the black/white aura. It’s going to look good with a lot of glamour color options when not shifting.

Wish they had other black glows for weapons. This one looks amazing and ill eventually get it cause i do enjoy ultimates. But sucks that the only substitute is Byakko and the effect for it is very hit/miss for people and for me personally im not a fan of it. Hopeful Goldbez or Zeromus craftable weapons have a nice black glow effect. But we wont know till likely near the end of the DawnTrail expansion.
