I love how they have a parent-child relationship, that entire scene give off "child that doesn't want to have a bath" vibes, especially with how he washes himself.
Tsūjìnつじ ん If you come to camp dirty and unbathed Ms.Grimshaw will confront you and make you wash yourself. If it happens again Arthur will be confronted and will insist he’ll do it himself. He even pays her, although it’s only like 50 cents
MUFLI 1074 whenever I hear something about TB, like on a Humira commercial or something, I start thinking about Arthur. His character is so real, sometimes I forget he doesn’t really exist.
I just love how human Arthur feels. Not just Arthur, all of them feel alive, and not like most video games just for the sake of the story, they feel alive and they all struggle and laugh and celebrate. It's incredible.
That one part early in the game where you go with the girls to Valentine on a wagon and they’re singing in the back and one of them sings the wrong lyrics and they all laugh about it blew my mind. It was so natural, it was probably even unintentional.
For real. Rdr2 might have just become my favorite game of all time, until a better game than this shows up ofc. But so far... Rdr2 is a whole other lvl
When I first played the bar mission, I was literally rolling on the floor with laughter. Arthur and Lenny was the best duo of the decade, and it's a great shame it ended so soon
You forgot when He met Milton and Ross, then Milton says that he has a reward of 5000 Dollars, and Arthur just reply with "Can i turn myself into that?" with a smile
You missed the part when Arthur and Sadie went to save John from the prison and arthur is holding a lawman on gun point "Now im gonna start counting...1..2..3..4..5...eh..hey(hostage) could you count for me, i gotta do some talking" "Yes ofcourse.....do i start from 1 or 5?" "Yeah very funny we're probably at 11 by now"
Gabe Moler When rains fall is going to talk to a guys that’s oppressing the natives, they kill the opressor, but he was an important guy to the army, and then they get chased by them and this guy has to run (because he was part of the army, but good) away ending up in this cutscene
0:50 If you hear Mrs. Grimshaw closely, you'll hear she was kinda laughing too, and that makes it all feel so authentic and cool I bet they all had very good times during the motion capture
It's like the cutscene in the mission Fresh Meat in GTA V where Steven Ogg acidentally falls and Shawn Fonteno starts laughing ( in the motion capture for Trevor and Franklin), that was not scripted but Rockstar decided to be in the game
I’m on my third playthrough and I let him rot for so long while I was hunting legendary animals and upgrading the camp 😂 even went and found myself two mustangs and a splashed white paint horse. Oh and then got arrested myself in Valentine for robbing the side business at the doctors and then I went and hunted some animals for clothing at the trappers. I’m sure if you calculated how many in game days that took he’d be dead by now 😂
>Game has easily over 60 hours of content. >All of Arthur Morgan's smiles and jokes barely make enough for a 3:45 minute video. It's so heartbreaking. He was a funny, charismatic man. He just had a really hard life.
To be fair he did have a wife and son, but they were killed. I doubt it's just because no one loves him, or he loves nobody, but just because his life isn't fitted for a family. So it won't be like John and Abigail
Haha Ikr! The art gallery with him being pleasantly surprised to see the "weak" fancy people starting to fight and then laughing at them. I remember smiling through the whole scene just looking at Arthurs expressions.
That one was actually sad to me because he's clearly extremely depressed and has a lot of self worth issues. Just try looking at the mirror in the rented room in Strawberry a few times :(
@@dejavu1512 There was this mission heist with Javier I did during chapter 1 and while pushing a box while founding money I heard it The very first cough :’(
@@luisenrique7240 i think you mean Chapter 2, that mission with a group of hillbillies living together in a ranch or something (Chez Porter?). That was the first time I noticed him coughing too but I thought it was just coz of the smoke from the shed Javier burned down.
SwiftNZ I loved that scene, knowing that at the beginning of the game I’d kill for a quarter, but then, with thousands of dollars, the quarter means nothing
That mission was the closest thing to an online mission we can do in story mode, we do a bunch of BS and in the end, we get paid very little for our efforts
Without tuberculosis, and with either a stubble or a fat mustache that makes him look like brad Pitt from inglorious basterds, he’s pretty damn hot ngl lmao
This is a great compilation, however it's missing a snarky comment from Arthur that made me laugh more than any other in the game. During the main story mission "Our Best Selves" when the train is supposed to stop in Saint Denis but just speeds by and Arthur comments "Should I just... sneak on now?" as the train blazes past the gang. I got a legitimately good laugh out of that.
what about the one joke after they steal the horses from braithwate manner when javier says could've gone smoother and then arthur says that well be on my grave stone
I think the best insult I heard was from Hosea when he chatting with the Braithwaits mom and son saying "Ain't Childbirth just Beautiful. Seems the Lady can birth Monkeys after all." Just shows were Arthur gets it from
0:49 the way it goes into a cutscene, arthur breathing out, miss grimshaw smacking him, him laughing... its so rythmic, so beautiful. this... is comedy gold
When you get the squirrel from the taxidermist house with the John Marston clothes on, Abigail will say exactly the same when John Puts it on the Fireplace. Abigails says: " what the hell is that John?" Then John replies: "it's art..."
"Stop looking at my husbands buttocks!" ):< Arthur: :) "Stop looking at my momma!" D:< Arthur: :D "Well maybe she shouldn't expose herself like that!" Arthur: :3 Fight breaks out Arthur: XD I love his reaction to that whole bit lmao
when i first played that mission and seen arthur laughing i couldn’t help but cry from laughing, i’m so glad they put the effort they did into this game, rdr was my fav game until they released this, there will never be another game like it
3:15 i love how arthur is genuinely entertained during this situation. But when Charles gets hit with a handbag, that's the topping on the cake😂💀 can't stop watching the scene tbh
Jake Anderson he also laughs in the stage coach with Dutch and Bill while they head to the party in Saint Denis. They all laughed. That was the best laugh he did. It was hilarious
Booker Dewitt he said something like “I got sacred because my name is Brandon”, he must’ve deleted his comment. He typed “sacred” instead of “scared” so I was poking fun at ‘em.
But it all makes me cry. I miss Arthur, the best video game character ever made. Second is John, I am just feeling the same as when I felt for John after completing RDR. Rockstar makes me cry by Red Dead Redemption series.
Arthur’s character is so in-depth it’s almost terrifying. I grew to feel some of Arthur’s pain throughout the game, realizing that his life and feeling are just as vivid as any normal human beings.
This, bar with Lenny, and valentine bank heist are all legendary missions. One of my personal favorites is the one where you, uncle, Charles and bill rob the Cornwall coach and take hiding in the barn over night.
3:17 I love that. If you know Arthur's personality, you quite can place all the others based on how he laughs. He makes them look like children when he laughs like that.
