Always thought the same. Banjo, Kazooie and especially Grunty are perfect Saturday Morning Cartoon material.

There was originally gonna be one, but they cancelled it.

Because they aren't like other characters. It isn't just Banjo like it is just Joker instead of Joker and Arsene. It's Banjo AND Kazooie. And I agree, I love that about these victory animations.

Yeah, if you look up at all of Banjo's moveset, only jab, up tilt, sort of dash attack, forward air and down throw are truly his, the rest would be impossible to do without Kazooie and the two combining strenghts, there is a reason it says Banjo AND Kazooie and not just Banjo; this animation is a perfect example of what this character balances, Banjo and Kazooie the bear and the bird (or at least that's how I see it). (Even his run uses both characters...)

Even in their lose screen it focuses on both as a duo.

Yes, even in their moveset, while Banjo moves are slow they are quite powerful, while Kazooie's moves are faster but not as strong, undeniably my favorite character in smash

@@milboxr9772 Lmao. I know that it's an iconic time for him too, but I personally didnt feel the same gust of wind as Banjo. I was more so happy for people in Japan because I'm sure you could just feel the radiance of hype.

Why does it feel like the fighters pass is a lot of Sakurai's dreams and wishes being fulfilled? Persona is a favorite of his, Dragon Quest iirc is a series he enjoys, KoF (essentially Terry's series of games, but not his main series) is essentially what created the idea for Smash and that same inspiration is finally represented in Smash, and I feel like Banjo is someone he's been wanting to get into the game himself but couldn't due to a couple reasons that we all know too well. (Literally just out of reach for nearly a decade and a half). If going by this logic, I have a feeling dlc 5 will break that new game worlds rule and turn out to be Geno, someone he was interested in since Brawl.

Haven’t played the character yet, does his down throw bury opponents or does it just have extremely low knockback? Also is he a fast faller? Cus he definitely looked like it from Sakurai’s gameplay demo.

I think characters that work as a team (Rosalina & Luma, Ice Climbers, Banjo & Kazooie) are the sole reason why they've changed "This game's winner is X" to "X wins!", since this flows better than "This game's winners are..."

@@UnexpectedGamer7 Sounds about right. It does mess with one of the win screens for Little Mac, though; he used to have Doc saying "And the winner is... Little Mac!" at the same time as the announcer, but now he still says that while the announcer has a totally different script.
