I remember sitting the GCSE exams in 2011, completely unaware of the maths sections that would be required. I feel as though my teacher didn't quite prepare us for the exams, as most of the class (highest group in science!) got fairly rubbish results on the higher papers. Now, I have to resit the exams to get into university! For anyone that may want to get into dentistry or medicine, universities will look at your Biology and Chemistry GCSEs even if you got A or A* at A level. It's very annoying.

@@Tj-dn4nq I had a triple science one so it may be different- but REVISE THE PERIODIC TABLE!! It will definitely help! Revise half equations, standard form and any important practical lessons (eg distillation and crystallisation) honestly that’s all I can remember! Sorry! I hope it helps!

@@Tj-dn4nq I think the topics in the mock are Atomic structure and origin e.g(plum pudding model)and the periodic table>(Compounds elements and metal and non metals) >Bonding and structure such as metallic,covalent and ionic.And lattice structures. >Energy changes Electrolysis,And ex/endothermic reactions Quantitive chem:And Mr relative atomic mass ,formula mass and moles and conservation of mass And you need to know the Required practicals and and methods At least thats what i had to do... o:

I have never felt so useless and dumb in my life till after watching this video. I am a grade 7,8 and 9 student in year 10 and I have been revising but wanted to watch a quick summary. Remember. As long as you know half of this then u can ensure a grade 5/6. Grade boundaries for chem are lower than bio and physics so get maybe 20/70 marks that’s a pass

U need money, and how do you get money? You get it through a job. The amount of money you earn depends on what job you get (if its really good or really bad). In order to get a good job you will need to have gotten a good score on your gcses and alevels. Depressing but that's the only way.
