In this one, we dig out all of the pieces in my private collection for some show and tell! These are all of the rocks that I have purchased, were given to me, and all of my personal finds that I don't plan on ever selling! We will go through and get good looks at a wide range of gems, minerals, fossils, and shells, including: labradorite, crystal specimens, huge tiger eye, malachite specimens, unusual fossils, and fantastic agates! I unfortunately had to cut a LOT of specimens from the video so that it was not 52 minutes long, but I promise to show more in the future. I hope you enjoy looking at some cool pieces, and I will have another one out very soon!

Your collection is so beautiful and personal! I can hear in your voice how much love you have for the processes that shaped each of these rocks, or the biological specificity of the animals who used to reside in the shells. And the shells WITH the crystals are just a whole nother level of mind blowing!

Thank you so much!😄 that means a lot! I really dont hold onto many rocks for my personal collection so each one is very special to me. It was hard having to cut the video down because it was originally about 52 minutes long but i didnt rhink the majority of my viewers would care to sit and watch that long😅

Spectacular collection! So many beauties I'm not sure which one is my favorite. But if I had to pick one it would be the labradorite... Its my most favorite stone. I actually have a video ready to post of my personal display where I show off my favorite labs. I was planning on posting it today but maybe I should wait a day or two 😄 Thanks for sharing all your treasures. Looking forward to what's to come!

I am actually not sure where you would go about purchasing some unfortunately. It is found naturally in a very few amount of places in montana but it mostly used as fill material; nearly all of my pieces were scavenged from fill as there are stretches of montana where it is used as bedrock for train tracks. I am sorry i can not be more help here!

i live in Philadelphia PA, its creeks are very polluted and full of trash. but i still go to the parks and collect river glass/old bottles. after a rain storm i found an approx 3inx3in piece of agateizd petrified wood. its even transparent in some spots. It's such an unusual find for a big city creek i was shocked when i found it. Anyway i want to have to shaped into a cabochon and set as a pendant in silver. Do you, or anyone else on here know where i could have that done? /its very special to me, as an artist myself i would compensate very well.

I used to collect seashells when I was a child. My mom and dad would take us, nine siblings, to South Padre Island near Brownsville, Texas every Summer. I remember one time when I was sitting on the beach, admiring my newly acquired collection. My Grandfather approached me, and asked me to show him my beautiful array of seashells. That's a very good memory of my dear family that I never forget. 🏖️

Hello Theo, I’m Lainie. I’ve recently discovered my passion for rocks, stones and pebbles. It’s kinda neat that you’re by Yellow Stone, which I would loooovve to visit one day, bc I’m approx about 2 miles from the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I’ve started a business of coasters with river stones and resin. These stones, when you wet them, look like metallic stones. I’ve never seen stones like that anywhere else. I’d love to send you a coaster bc you are part of the reason, and the crystal collector, that I love stones and geology today. I’ll send you some pictures of what I’m doing if I can find a way. Keep doing what you’re doing. I have learned so much and thank you for that. Lainie Frye

Is there a way to grow Druzy, I messed up, I found a Giant piece of Quartz covered in Druzy, and mud, first I cleaned the stone with a tooth brush, but there was still mud on it, really hard mud, so I used a small toothbrush size steel brush, trying to clean up the rock, Big mistake, when I rinsed most of this mud off So went a lot of the druzy, I mean the whole 15 lb.rock Sparkled before, not now, even that hard mud, some Druzy is still there
