I appreciate Sigourney and how she is commited to her aesthetic. As much as I would have loved more filth and horror, what she has brought is still incredible.
@@BossALKENO I mean, when you are pretty it's easier to be on drag race than in dragula. Let's be real, her looks are nothing special, it's clasic pagent with big hair and all, just with her beutiful face, that it's not even the makeup, it's the strucutre of her face, but they would probably live for her and say she is so diferent if she would get on drag race
Idc what anyone say She's a Floorshow Queen and a Extermination Master she was literally inmortal at the end of the competition and she's so fun to watch and THE FACT she was THIS GOOD after one of the biggest lose in a person life (her mother) OMG i love her SO much and wish her the best mi chiquita 😌
i’ve never really understood why people think she didn’t bring filth and horror to the competition. her looks & aesthetic were ALWAYS inspired by classic horror imagery - she gave us bride of frankenstein, killer clown, mad scientist, sasquatch, etc etc. maybe i’m missing the point of dragula altogether, but i always thought the show was pretty loose in its definition of what “horror” looks like. she was always serving iconic horror-inspired aesthetics, even if it wasn’t as physically jarring as blood & guts. as far as “filth” goes, it’s obvious that sigourney wasn’t as over-the-top with that aspect of her drag. but, again, i think she was just giving us a different KIND of filth. if you consider the definition of filth to include sex appeal and raunchiness, she gave us filth in spades. she was always showing her body, her sexuality, and doing things that would be considered “filthy” on ANY other platform. overall, i think sigourney really did deliver on all 3 aspects of the show- just in a less traditional way. and that shouldn’t really be an issue, since dragula is founded on the idea that the art of drag isn’t just ONE thing. but i think her status as an AFAB queen immediately caused fans and her fellow artists on the show to look at her with an especially critical eye. all this is to say, JUSTICE FOR SIGOURNEY. just my 2 cents.
She wears a tight corset like men do who do drag, and she says she does it to get the Jessica Rabbit figure, Zava, Jade and Astrud were skinny and still corseted, I don't know about Saint or Dahli - it was hard to tell, Betty sometimes, and Merrie and Hoso didn't corset at all. Everyone has their own aesthetic.
MY WINNER. Sigourney might not have won season 4 but she certainly won the viewers' hearts. She is so amazing and it was her - beyond everyone else - that I was looking forward to see every week, even though her looks may or may not be the best every week. she's so charismatic and she really knows how to command the stage and present and model her looks in a way that really draws you in. her horror icon and rock looks are some of the BEST looks i've seen, not only on dragula but also in the entire drag and entertainment industry. bravo, sigourney, and i am so excited to see what's next for her.
She’s very cartoonish in a good way… Like a character from a gothic themed stop motion movie. The big hair, proportions and simplicity in her drag kind of gives off that vibe.
Honestly, I'm pretty sure it was the horror and glamour looks that cost her. Which sucks especially on the glamour one because, as we know she made all of her looks herself, she just hit the bottom of it after running through the whole competition. And the Horror one just wasn't sold as hard as the other looks, even though it was a very good concept on paper.
Even though she didn’t win, She finished what Victoria Scone had left edit: it’s almos a year since I posted this, Victoria is really going strong on Canada vs The World, come on AFAB Drag Artists
@@TwistedSoul12 pangina heals hasn't competed ever but she's on uk vs the world s1. btw i obviously meant to say that she could compete on uk vs the world after a regular season.
Sigourney is a very unique AFAB drag queen. I loved her throughout season four. I'm glad that misoginy within the drag community is real and was shown, and how it needs to stop. This woman was dealing with the fresh trauma of burrying her mother (the president of her fan club, as she once said) that was supportive to her chosen profession, and she walked in with her game face. Yes she had a wall, but did share vulnerabilty, with a few castmates, she trusted and didn't try to attack her spot in the world of drag, she was goal oriented and had a winning mindset on top of just losing her mom, and one person (Merrie), whom Sigourney tried to relate to showed a lot of contempt towards her, including a producer having to finally tell Merrie that Sigourney was team captain as she was assigned specifically the lead singer in the Rock challenge and if you watched previous seasons, this was the case in seasons 2 and 3 (part of me questioned if Merrie had watched much of Dragula prior to entering season 4, and seriously how could she not have any plain black clothes or latex or vinyl? I don't hate Merrie at all, but how could you not come to Dragula knowing that sewing is a must know (the two major drag TV shows BOTH have design challenges and components) . They may be season four monsters (sisters), but I wouldn't doubt or wouldn't blame Sigourney, if she isn't so close to some other people like Zava, "Petty Betty" aka Bitter Betty, Hoso, and I think sigourney has compassion and will talk to Jade and figure things out with her. I think her, Dahli, Astrud now (they started in the wrong foot but have gotten over it) Saint, and Formeldahyde will all be good in the end. You don't have to be friends with all the people you work with, that's life, but respect is key if you're working together. True, you gotta earn it, but you need a space where there is enough room establish that rapport and professionalism, to work together.
STUN, her only “bad look” was the hairy one just because the hair was placed randomly (anyways that wig was amazing), but the rest it’s pure excellence, she is so talented and her aesthetic is inmaculate
What I really admire about her is how she went through A LOT throughout the competition and yet still managed to survive a ton of exterminations until the finale. That's one ferociously strong monster right there!!!
My Champion of Dragula S4. Can relate with her through all that dramas. Makes me rooting for her more. She maybe didn't win, but still freakin' love her. Always love how she always bring glam in almost every floorshow. For me, it's nice to see among all the filth and horror of Dragula
Mine ranking of the looks 10-Hairy Monster 9-Entrance 8-Demonlogy 7-Beach Party 6-WWW 5-Ghostip Glamour 4-Horror icon 3-Killer Clown 2-Promo 1-Monster of rock
@@jiggyg123 uhm dahli was not versatile and glamurous at all in my opinion. my point is not comparing whose got better looks overall, i’m just saying i would have liked to see the judges ask dahli for versatility the same way they kept asking sigourney.
@@cocouribarri4595 I mean if you only define glamorous to be fishy feminine glamour then no he wasn't. I think he served androgynous and masculine glamour at least twice, which is like 20% of looks?
@@jiggyg123 i think he relied on the same silhouette and androgynous style way too much, but judges didn’t point it out like they did with Sigourney, and I feel like his looks needed something else. To me, Sigourney tried to get out of her comfort zone as soon as the judges told her, whether she delivered or not, that’s another thing.
I wanted her to win. She is my winner. She is an eye candy. Love her beauty. Very captivating. She is also well spoken and won't let others step on her without being aggressive.
She is such a cool and distinctive Queen. Make up is always flawless. I think when a lot of people think of Season 4- it will be Sigourney who comes to mind.
Sigourney for All Stars! I think she’s in the same boat as Victoria as where they’re too advanced and polished for resurrection. Wouldn’t be fair to other queens
@@benjaminsolliday7645Still tho her aesthetic is not filth but Horror glamour. Her drag is not suppost to be filth and it doesn't make her any less good.
She is an amazing performance, that makes the judges keep her. She mesmerized with her moves and eyes. Yes, her looks were really good but her performance is above.
I haven't actually watched dragula yet, I just like seeing these looks but from what I've gathered it feels like Sigourney is similar to Charity Kase in the sense that her aesthetic is very different from the other competitors on their seasons but they can still serve any category while keeping their signature brand
Why did everyone say she needed more filth and horror…like can you not see HER AESTHETIC IS GLAMOUR HORROR- it doesn’t need to be a scary look to be scary💀🤚
Because the three tenets of Dragula are Filth, Horror, and Glamour. She obviously has her style of drag and she does it very well, but if you want to win a competition, you need to consider the rules of said competition.
yeah exactly, her only bad episode was the hairy one and i can't defend her on that, but for the rest she was ok, good or even amazing. her tr should be: high-safe-high-win¹-win-bttm2-win²-high-winner ¹ tied w dahli ² tied w zava or hoso
I’ve been a fan of Sigourney before Dragula and when I found out that she was casted I was so excited but having never watched this season (because I’m not going to pay for another damn streaming service) I was quite disappointed by her looks. She had a few amazing looks like the KISS inspired Marie Antionette and the clown but other than those IDK the rest really felt lackluster. I love her drag and I love her aesthetic but just was hoping to see more. Please send no hate to me as I am a fan and just stating my own personal opinion. Glad she made it far though.
