I'm going to preemptively say this to any haters still out there: clutch shots don't just include go-ahead shots with 10 or so seconds left on the clock. Sometimes, the most clutch shots come with 5, 7, or even 10 minutes left in the game. With the team up by just 1 or 2, needing to assert themselves, or with the offense desperately needing a spark down 4 or 5 in the middle of the 4th. Steph may not have the most memorable clutch shots, but he delivers when it matters most.
Yeah, I've found it a bit silly that people complain about Curry winning games before the last minute. The guy demoralizes teams so that the last minute is already too late for them and they don't have the will to pull it off. Some stars' clutch shots are amazing buzzer beaters. Curry's clutch shots destroy morale and make the other team feel like they *can't* win. People who hold it against him for winning it earlier in the game are weird.
Underrated by the internet and espn storylines, people who watch basketball a lot have known this for years. Glad that mainstream media is down for his clutch storyline now
He’s only underrated by the media and stupid fans who can’t think for themselves This dude changed the way the nba plays these days…. We know how good Curry is
Curry is so clutch that he spends half of the 4th quarter on the bench after checking out of the game. No need for buzzer beaters when he lights the team up once the 4th quarter starts. He’s been part of so many great teams that a lot of the games he plays barely even come down to a last second shot.
Best shooter in history, no doubt. He has done enough to be a Hall of Famer. 3:19 I have learned to appreciate Green. Look at his awareness. It’s not always about how many points you put up.
Haters will say those game 6 Celtics shots weren’t clutch cause it wasn’t super close but real fans remember how scary that run was. Those shots were everything 😂
When steph gets open for three, viewers mindset, its always going in That'show curry changed the game. If anyone still having difficulty figuring it out
Best Version Of Steph Curry. Smarter, Tougher, Better Defender and More Killer instinct. A 2014-2018 Curry Wouldn't stand a chance against this Version.
I’m just gonna say that Boston’s defense wasn’t great and game 6 showed it. Smart was guarding Green on the switch whilst Horford guarded Steph, they can afford to switch back quickly as Steph loves to drive on him which gives Draymond a 3, the shot you live with.
@@jakebuchsbaum3348 ofc you’d look at it like that I’m just pointing out how objectively, the Celtics played defense in a way that Golden State could capitalize on which is smart on GSW’s part since you gotta strike while the iron’s hot. If pointing out the facts with an example of what I’m referring to is “debunking their championship”, then sure 🤷🏾♂️whatever floats your boat.
@@jakebuchsbaum3348 that’s not my issue to solve, that goes on the coach/team which I’ve been saying in these comments. They made bad defensive decisions which enabled Steph and Golden State as a collective to torch them.
But I thought he wasn’t clutch I thought with the fate of the universe on the line iguadala was who should be shooting oh wait no the haters are just morons u can’t hate on him any more this playoffs Steph has literally proved every narrative wrong there’s not a single thing he hasn’t accomplished
Its not clutch if they're already up by 10pts before he started making shots 😄 That's just called frontrunning. Btw, Curry is top 7 greatest of all time.
Hell yea it’s clutch. It’s clutch to get your team in a position to win minutes before the game is over. It’s stupid as shit to let a team get close and then need to hit a difficult ass shot at the last second
