This will probably go unnoticed which is completely fine. I feel like I've learned and grown watching your channel and your earlier car reviews. I've honestly learned so much from you. That being said your videos have always been a source of education and I highly respect that about you. You love all vehicles. I've felt connected to your channel for a long time and I found it highly nostalgic to watch this kind of video from you and it almost brought a tear to my eye since YOU BUILT this beautiful vehicle. Dude Kyle I've gotta be honest, when I first got on RU-vid ten years ago as a freshman in high school I watched your channel more than anything. This channel is genuinely what got me into cars. Over the years I've subscribed to like 100 other channels (many of them auto related), and I watch them all as much as I can, so naturally I didn't watch as many of yours. Your recent stuff, especially this series, has really brought me back here. Like you I find older everyday cars more interesting than fancy super cars, and all of the restorations/details and DIY stuff is super cool to see. Really impressed with your FINISHED product, and genuinely happy to see your channel thriving. Cheers man!

Among the super car stuff there's of course our very own Shmee, I love his content because he's so genuine and the experience is great. But then, otherwise, RU-vid is just filled with a lot of that content. I've been watching the channel for a long time now, and despite being a huge fan of the reviews, the restoration content was really a GREAT direction to take. Classic old GM, rev up the engine while parked and the speedo goes up a few kph. Ah, memories. Truck looks epic man, well done.

Now that truck is truly a beauty. One day, I will find a GM SUV/truck from the 90s and give it a gorgeous restoration.

This video actually makes me cry and truly makes me wish I had NEVER sold my 1993 Jimmy. It was exactly like your finished one. It was SLT, Forest Green, and even had the same kind of bug deflector on the hood. The only difference is mine had the spare tire rack on the back. Without the sound system upgrade this would match perfectly. I miss that little Jimmy of mine. This makes me miss it more. Great job.

This is one if not the BEST GM RESTORATION VIDEOS I HAVE EVER SEEN. I would gladly pay 12k-15k for this if I had the money.

Man I wish I had the money to restore my 91' Bravada Pretty much the same vehicle just red with the black leather interior (And AWD) Learned how to drive in one of these. They don't make them like they used to, can't get anything quite like these old S-10's anymore. They may be old, they may lack safety features, but even if you leave it sit for a while it'll still start right up and take you where you need to go like it's nothing. Pushing 30 years, these things will last forever (As long as you don't let the rust get to them lol) It's great to see someone bring one of these back to its glory. Great work Kyle, keep that thing clean and running for all of us who aren't fortunate enough to keep ours!

I love it. I personally drive a 1989 ford ranger with 300,000 miles, I get what you mean about old cars, there’s just something special about them. I’d absolutely love to restore my ranger like this someday.

Wow saabkyle04, this is so beautiful i cried frfr. You put all your love into that truck and brought it back to life and then some. Its sad that we live in such a throw away society and no one takes care of there things anymore. I wish more people would make videos like this idk it just gives me such nostalgia

Congrats on finishing the first of what I’m sure will be many projects! Any chance you might film some light off-roading in the Jimmy to show how it handles low traction? That crew S-10 is going to be an elephant of a project but you know how you eat one of those: One bite at a time!

This is the nicest '90s GMC Jimmy that you'll ever see! You're the only dedicated person to tastefully restore an old forgotten beater SUV and bring it back to life while modernizing it. Keep it up. I hope to see more restorations in the future. On a side note, I was a bit surprised to hear that they didn't add a third brake light to it until 1994. I thought the federal government mandated all cars to have a third brake light starting in 1986. How did certain companies get away with it for so long?

We had the 4 wheel drive version in Navy. The trans started to slip so my Mom called Victory Auto Wreckers and had it towed away. Interior was mint and it had brand new tires. Victory was probably thrilled!!!
