7:50: Here’s some other fun things you missed for 88☆彡! (As it’s one of my favorite songs) All beat map difficulties have a full combo number ending with 88. It not only references the title of the song, but it is also the number of keys on a piano! More so, the full original song is very short-only lasting around 2 minutes because the song has *88 measures*. - Even better is that in the pro Sekai mv, Tsukasa smiles during his part of the song’s bridge at 1:28 which is *88 seconds into the song*. - Even, even better is that Saki, Tsukasa, and Touya also share the same 88 motif. Saki and Tsukasa’s birthdays are 8 days apart, and Tsukasa and Touya’s birthdays are also 8 days apart. Put them together->88. To represent all the three of their connection to piano. Tldr: Prosekai and all who work/collaborate with them are geniuses

Another 88 reference that JP folks noticed was the fact that in the master chart, for some reason, there's 87 points in the hold notes, some theorized why there's one missing, that one is more like a stretch but its fun how almost everything in the song is 88 (number) related

for the first one, that was actually at the end of part 1 the second one, I didn't actually notice because I'm not really skilled in music terms, thanks for telling me! for the third one, wow, I'm surprised I didn't notice that with how much I stared at Tsukasa and Kaito in the MV and the last one, thats really cute! I already knew that and didn't include it because its not really related to a chart, but I really love that reference!

I also read if you count the alphabet letters in Wonderlands x Showtime, you'll get 11 and 8. And the x? Guess what. 11 x 8 = 88. The 88 event is also the 8th event of WxS.

Two I noticed. -Dreamin Chuchu has a single note on screen when it says "The only one in the world". -In the chorus of IDSMILE, when it says "obstructed by faint expectations", the notes are wide and take up the entire lane.

something this made me remember not in sekai but rather in project diva where you play with yknow a controller the buttons sync up to specifically the "a b" part uses where the a and b button would be on a ps4 contoller (and on the switch its straight up a and b) and the l r parts use sliders (sliders can be triggered via l and r even if there are other ways to trigger em)

Thank you very much to everyone who informed me of references I didn't include, this video would be half a long without people telling me of things I missed~ Also, I had completely forgotten to include this in the video, but I do not have the mental fortitude to make a part 4 so I'll put anything that I still missed in this comment (feel free to tell me anything that you notice!): 1. In Servant of Evil and Daughter of Evil *(EXPERT),* the combo is 609 on both, which you're capable of turning upside down and it will look completely indistinguishable from the before. 2. In Melty Land Nightmare, there is a reference during the lyric "This is a place without a single soul (or two)"/"koko wa hitori mo futari mo nai basho" on both EXPERT and MASTER. On *EXPERT,* you hit 1 hold note on "hitori" (which means "1 person") and then it adds in a second hold note on "futari" (which means 2 people), while on *MASTER,* a single flick appears on "hitori" while 2 flicks appear on "futari". 3. Dreamin Chuchu has a single note on screen when it says "The only one in the world". 4. In the chorus of IDSMILE, when it says "obstructed by faint expectations", the notes are wide and take up the entire lane. 5. In Heart Rate#0822, there is a lyric that mentions "synchronizing sounds" where the holds synchronize. 6. I can't believe I'm gonna have to include the exact same ONESELF sdvr section again in the part 4 that'll come out in a month or 2 because I didn't notice the comment that mentioned that the holds look a subway station map, which makes a lot of sense💀 7. In Copycat (EN Server Exclusive), whenever the lyrics say "Copy", there are always 2 hold notes. 8. In Positive Dance Time, there are star shaped notes after the "The World Shines" lyrics. 9. In Bug, the hold notes look glitched, as if the chart is bugged. 10. Isn't a chart reference per say, but they changed the ending text in Copycat from "Thank you for watching" to "Thank you for playing".

I’m not sure if this counts, but in World’s End Dancehall, there’s a part at the end where the notes go through a circular pattern repeatedly, and the lyrics are going round and round, twirling in a twisting stupor or something.

There's a reference in Melty Land Nightmare that I've always liked that I don't think has been in any of these videos! At the part where it says "koko wa hitori mo futari mo nai basho" (This is a place without a single soul (or two)), the expert chart starts one hold note at "hitori" and adds another at "futari," and in the master chart there is a normal note and a flick note together at "hitori" and two flick notes at "futari." I'm not entirely sure if it's a reference on master, since the pattern repeats itself a bit later.

there is one really cute reference in niccori!! when the part with those pattern background starts, the lyrics go like “turn that frown upside down” and you can see the slider and the two notes on its left first look like a :( face and then become a :) face the next time they repeat a few seconds after

one of my favorite chart references is in the master chart of blessing, where the note types match up to the vocaloid who's singing for most solo lines, especially in the bridge. hold notes for miku (green), critical notes for rin and len (yellow), flicks for luka (pink), and tap notes for kaito (blue). unfortunately there's no red notes so meiko doesn't get special notes :( it's still really cool though!

One i noticed is that SENbozakuras expert chart has exactly 1000 notes, sen (千) is the Japanese term for 1000 I believe Sennozakura translates roughly to like 1000 cherry blossoms

The "aa, gomen ne " part it might be a reference to the MV where Kano (that kid in the mv) tilt his head (even that part of mv come after that a little) Well, since that part's note look like this ❨) The left side could be his head and another side is the mask

I noticed that in the master lvl of Hitorinbo Envy that in most of the doubled notes (not exactly sure what it's called), one note is small and the other is bigger than it. The small one represents the child and the bigger one represents her parents. With the notes being separated from each other I think is supposed to represent how in the song the child's parents don't give her much attention which causes her to feel lonely and isolated.

The double notes you see are called a "jump" If you play with one hand then EK might be calling to compete XD Jokes aside, the term came from DDR and PIU players, myself included, who play with their legs. Every time such note shows up in quick succession, they have to "jump" to hit them. You should see something like Nakakapagpabagabag, yes that is the song's name, on PIU. Lv18 iirc is when the jumping starts XD

hi! If you ever plan to make another part, here are some i’ve noticed: - ego rock has numbers 1,2,3 as a reference at the end - the chorus of ego rock has some slanted holds at the (‘45 degrees of nonsense’) line iirc - YY expert has references to the letters mentioned in its lyrics (A,B) and then later (YY in the chorus) Those are the top two that i noticed but there are likely more that i haven’t found

maybe it's not exactly true, but full combo for expert on tondemo wonderz is 1122, which is "one one deux two", "wan wan de tsu", as they sing in chorus (yes it is actually "wan wan, de tsuka" (one, one, stop, too quick) but sounds similar anyway)

fact about matryoshka : people still don't know what 524 is supposed to mean, but some people theorized that since there is no 1 (i), and no 3 (mi), there is no meaning (imi) to it. oh, and something i still love about Jackpot Sad Girl is how after the second chorus, the singer counts up to 8, and then starts dissing Hachi because of the message Sand Planet conveyed (the vocaloid fandom slowly dying and becoming barren, like a wasteland or a desert) like sega asked "k can you make a song for mafuyu", and syudou just went "sure, if you allow me to diss hachi"

What makes it funnier is the fact that if you are friends with Syudou, you probably will ALWAYS get one for each. Syudou's Gambling is for Ayase, and Jackpot sad Girl is obvious. The similiarty? All of them are still friends to each other and EVEN Syudou and Ayase (along with balloon, who is Keina Suda) get to congratulate Kenshi (hachi) in one interview for the milestones of his debut! (Also it's actually sweet that Syudou managed to get a chance to make a playlist full of Kenshi's songs, it's named Mothergoose, and full of what's otherwise, either, obscure or B-side song)

this video is a few months old but i thought i'd add how in otome dissection, master mode has a slide note that's intertwined to go with the lyrics "Both of us with our masks on, we flirted". The SOS part in it as well kind of looks like an S? might be a stretch though lol. this could also be a stretch, but the long notes in the chorus kind of reminded me of the bones/ribcage from the mv? also the "nyanyan" part references the swinging tail from the mv like you mentioned in the first vid! just thought i'd comment since i havent seen any other mentions of it :]

In Rin-chan, Now! There is a part that says "Rin chan's ribbon is attached to an Alice band in the morning, I want to stealthily switch it with a set of cat ears" In that same part, there's a hold note that resembles cat ears. Also, there is a part that says "I want to do whatever i can to prevent rin-chan from searching Kagamine Rin r-18" And aslo in that part, hold notes resemble the letter R and 18 and another hold note that resembles a magnifying glass and another hold note that resembles a X.

i looked through all three parts to find this and it wasn’t in any of them (I EVEN LOOKED THROUGH THE COMMENTS AND NOBODY MENTIONED THIS SONG 😭) but in the song “ YY “ every time the lyrics come in the sliders say “ YY “ and on expert/master it says “A B” like the lyrics at the start. additionally, on master, it says “ 1 2 3” like the lyrics “ichi ni san” representing the counting.
