That Seoul intro is really impressive for 1988

Seoul 1988 was memorable, epic theme and animation ahead of its time. Personally Sydney 2000 hold a special memory, having spend the entire games working in the Main Press Centre - that opening sequence was played prior to the commencement of the live feed from each venue, countless times each day...never got sick of it lol

Barcelona'92! Even today it looks very modern and fresh. Brilliant!

Athens 2004 🇬🇷

Seoul 1988 was revolutionary. First lavish CGI intro, first time very bold 3D CGI screen graphics, hard to beat even nowadays.

At the beginning of this video, that is not actually from the Montreal 1976 Summer Olympics, that was from that same year's Winter Games in Innsbruck.

Rio 2016 intro is the best!

I still remember the 2004 intro.

Sydney was so good!

I still think Barcelona 1992 intro is the most influential, it might not be the most technologically advanced for its time, but every intros that follow - except probably the groundbreaking Rio - took something from its style and aesthetic, which stray from the purely graphical themes to more cinematic one.

Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Rio 2016 and Beijing 2008 the best for me. But I found quite interesting Seoul 1988 and Barcelona 1992 too.

I like Olympics 1988 because it looks like the mixing between CGI and hand-draw animation 😍

I remember all those OBS channels we got here in the UK when London hosted the Games in 2012! We had the BBC as usual, but we got all these extra channels being in the country of the host city! 🇬🇧❤️🥇

Second intro in compilation was aired in Poland, by TVP1, the first (oldest and nowadays most popular channel in Poland, if public TV is excluded, Polsat should be most popular one (mainly through Left people, especially CP (short for Civil Platform, in polish it is Platforma Obywatelska or PO in short) and Poland 2050)) channel of Polish State Television (PST, PolStaTel or TVP (from polish word "Telewizja Polska"; used in channel names owned by namesake broadcaster)), maybe in late 2000's to early 2010's (but not later than 2013, SD version was almost entirely replaced by Fokus TV)

My favourites are Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, Sydney 2000 And Atlanta 1996, Being my absolute favourite! Honourable mentions: Rio 2016 and Seoul 1988. They’re all pretty good And then we have Tokyo 2020 olympic’s intro which was not shown in this video. It’s still vibrant by visuals! An edit to this comment: I just watched the Tokyo 2020 Intro and it was AMAZING.
