Actually, they were making an Outbreak game before the event and they put some of it on rainbow six siege to see if they should continue making it and people loved it so they carried on making it and it gets released sometime this year.

Lets not forget about the entirety of Division and Division 2. Out of all the viral outbreak games we have such as prototype, left 4 dead 2 and such, Division was the most realistic.
