I looked up "All Over the World cover" not really expecting the song to be popular enough to have covers. Great song. Great cover. You really nailed the vibe. Looks like great fun to play lol.
Just got back from seeing the Pixies (3rd time) in Sydney. Sadly they didn't play All over the world. I'm learning the guitar and this video was epic. I'm inspired to be able to play this like you one day. You make it look easy!!!! Awesome
Oh my god, I love it. Was sorta hoping that you'd know what the hell is played on the first solo at the beginning tho :D Great cover and I like your tone:)
Can you shed any light on which guitar part is whose, and are you just switching between them as you like? I always assumed the meaty parts of the coda were played by Joey, but if I listen with a critical ear (which admittedly I rarely do) I guess it must be Francis playing the riff at 3:00+ because behind it you can hear a guitar playing some pretty typical Joey-Santiago stuff. Then after one minute it goes into the "Time is an arrangement" part and then the "All my thoughts" part, and does Francis just keep on riffing the whole time, with Joey doing the rhythm/chugging chords, or do they switch? It would be a pretty easy question to answer if there were even a single video on RU-vid of them playing it live, but there's only a single audio-only version.
in fact i was just switching between the parts, not sure who is playing what on the orignal record! i just decided to play it like that since i alone played the whole song and i liked the two parts equally :)
Bravo!
