Might be nostalgic for some of us too 😂 Doesn't have to bring you back to your childhood! Could take you back to any moments in life. But that PS1 sound is unbeatable haha 😂 Signed, someone who is staring 30 in the eyes 😂
@@gameg2010 I've had all the PlayStations except for the fifth one. To me, only the first two are purr nostalgia. That's straight back to my childhood. The others are straight back to me as an adult, so it doesn't give me the same feeling 😂 So I think for us old people, the fifth one won't be as nostalgic and powerful as some of the older ones. (Of course, when we are 90 years old, turning on the PS5 and going straight back to our 20's might be a lot more powerful of a nostalgia than it is today. Taking you from 29 to 24 is probably not as joyful as taking you from 90 to 24 😅 but even then... Can't beat childhood memories!!!!) Oh, and PS3 Home music used to annoy the hell out of me. Or was it PS4? Either way, the less I hear of it, the better 😂 PS1 and PS2, on the other hand...
@@stormmist3634 yeah but it's era hasn't ended as so many people are still playing on the ps4 and even if you bought the ps5 as soon as it released it would be only 3 years since last played on the ps4 that's why I'm kinda amazed that the ps4 is sounding so nostalgic this early
@@abdullahaljuhni18 pretty sure don’t confirmed it ends after 2024 or some say, but I think they could just add the abilty to stream ps5 games on ps4, because my other family members like cousins still use it
@@StarkOnRU-vid I don’t get the rocket ps4 joke, I had my ps4 since launch and it never made a rocket noise, maybe it’s dust because I clean mine on daily regardless
@@Darth_beastmaker_Editz у меня до сих пор целая.Я каждый год разбираю, чищу от пыли и меняю термопасту. И я меня умею делать это с 7-8 лет.(просто мой дядя ремонтировал технику и меня учил:)
Its the same with my PS4 Pro now. Cant read discs even if i tap on it, or turn it into vertical position. So igues i will have to open up fully & clean it. If that dosent cut ut, may have to get a new BD drive, sigh.. 😢

As a kid who owned an NES, then a SEGA Genesis, when I got that PS1, and saw that start up menu, I knew I was going to start playing something different. There’s never been a larger leap in gaming history from the SNES/Genesis era to the PS1 ever. We went from side scrolling 8/16bit pixels to an immersive 3D world with video cut scenes and open world exploration…
The 3D games were still at their infancy. They perfect the 2D gaming for that system. It's just that Sony of American didn't promote those games instead they wanted people to buy those bad looking 3D games. That's why there were lots of great 2D games that never got a U.S release. Just look at Castlevania SOTN, those were some quality 2D games that modern 2D games on the PS4 and PS5 can't even compete with.
Ps2 moments were gta san andreas was your favorite game, its very nostalgic edit: boys its an example of 2000' i know that many of you like to play other ps2 games, and yeah these are cool
There's something about ps3 that just hits, it's like it knows the worlds it can run are gonna be all new looking and it wants to give the feeling of setting out on a fantastical adventure. Then ps4 comes and makes it feel like you've reached calm waters and established something. Now ps5 tries to reinvigorate that new feeling but through the lens of calm curiosity rather than crazy adventure. man... I love that we can make shit
I rewatched the PS1 one a few times, really brings me back to my early teens. My friends and I would play Twisted Metal, Crash Bandicoot, Gran Turismo, Madden, and NFL Blitz and had a blast. Kids today don’t know what they’re missing with their online multiplayer, and not having split screen in person multiplayer. Nothing beats it.
the introduction of the playstation 1 was the best, and while you were waiting for the play logo to come out with the burned CDs you had moments of panic trying to figure out if it would start or not... nostalgia!
PS2 to PS3 also big jump -PS2 only have 1 core, PS3 have 8 core -PS2 is 480P, PS3 is 720P -PS2 RAM is 32MB, PS3 is 128MB -PS2 VRAM is 4MB, PS3 is 512MB -PS2 CPU is 299MHz, PS3 CPU is 3.2GHz PS3 also were used by US military as satellite imaging server.
I was born in 2010. Doesn’t mean I haven’t played with a ps1, or 2. I loved those things so much when I was a little kid. Now im only 13, but that doesn’t stop me from feeling nostalgia at any of these. We still have our ps2.
The PlayStation 1’s intro was perfect for the time. It showed what can be made possible and was refreshing change from the 8 bit and 16 bit games and consoles at the time. The others not so dramatic tho. N64 worth a mention too.
Im not very old but i remember the good time when I was 5 at my uncle house playing Minecraft and Kingdom hearts on the PlayStation 3 this is kinda nostalgic for me...
