I feel precure designs should have these five things to make it actually look good 1. Identification 2. Difference 3. Style 4. Looks like you can actually fight in it 5. Stands out from the precure team
I'm upset that you placed Smile on last place, but I understand. I guess I like the Smile designs (or at east that they've grown on me) is the fact that I was in my Sailor Moon phase, so I was used to uniformity in outfits. Also, shout out to CURE ECHO SHE SHOULD'VE BEEN THE MID-SEASON CURE! The White, pinkish red, green, nd banana yellow so well with the design!
The Smile Precure and Precure 5 all looked too uniform because Toei likes to put elements of Sentai into Precure and vice versa like they now did in Zenkaiger, Donbrothers and King-ohger. They are meant to look like a Sentai team
I wonder what would happen if we had a Brown cure?, Yeah I know it's like Sugar Honey Ice Tea, but It would definitely fit for a Steampunk Cure because the Color Brown is a permanent color for steampunk designs. And I always wanted to full on Time Travel Season because I like history. Also Transformation Pocket Watches would be so Cool!.
The closest we have to a brown color is Chocolat, who has it as a sub-color. I think any brown cure would have a prominent sub-color so that it can sell more
I like the older cures because of the art style, but my favorite outfit designs are maho, a la mode, sky, and HeartCatch are the best outfits in my opinion.
Tbh i would havr liked her outift to be like White and Black's outift,main color with an accent,like a lot of yellow or golden with white or pink,or even black and white to symbolize she's the in-between or sum shit like that,I would DIIIIE for shiny luminous to be SHINY AND LUMINOUS like a golden cure with hints of black and white

Bland Pretty Cure season: Hapiness Charge (this season is mostly bland and worst of precure- its also disappointment cause it was supposed to be to celebrate 10 years of Precure- I consider Go Princess Precure and Doki Doki seasons to be true 10th anniversary season instead).
Great video! My opinion is actually the exact opposite of yours 😂 I prefer the more uniform outfits. Suite minus Muse are my favs, in terms of how they really match but have individual flares. Bro I swear we're like the same person when it comes to designs. dokidoki and Happiness charge get slept on way too much. Whether you like the HapCha designs or not, they are hands down the most identifiable team unifier. If you see a cure, or just any magical girl in general, wearing a black vest whilst having a colorful design, there's a huge chance you'll think of Happiness Charge. GoPri stole my heart with their designs and I think they're the best overall. However Felice is probably my favorite individually. Maho itself probably lands somewhere in the top 5 because the designs are SO BEAUTIFUL. I love the wackiness that some seasons have with their hair. Especially Kirakira, Smile, and Go Princess. Also capes are based. Sorry, that's just how it works.

@@usami_ichika I agree, HapCha and DokiDoki are so underrated, I see literally no-one talking about those seasons, instead they're all gushing about heartcartch and fresh, etc. Those are great, but HapCha is a personal favorite of mine, and it gets slept on way too much.
a la mode has such a uniqie concept & the way they incorporate various desserts + animals into their designs is just 🤌🤌 hugtto and hirogaru definitely up there omfg im a sucker for pastely coloursss
With Max Heart I feel like they felt more obligated to redesign was because apparently parents back when futari wa aired complained that cure black's outfit was revealing esp if it'll be sold as costumes for little girls.But after that i dont think anyone cared for later season designs
i was surprised that Splash Star wasn’t lower on this list, as I’ve gotten used to the slander of the outfits, honestly splash is in my top 3 for designs lol
Happiness Charge Precure designs are stunning. Simple, but beautiful. Also very unique. As far as practically can go in a magical girl anime, it might also be the most practical. I would cosplay as each Cure because if just find the designs that good.
I like when the outfits are simple like in Smile. I love the colors, the hairs, the litle crowns, the skirts, the boots, the big and cute ribbons. Everything is so pretty 🤩Heartcatch and Fresh precure too have beautiful outfits! I don't like the Hugto cures. A nurse, a pom-pom girl and a flight attendant are jobs, not super heroines. They aren't ugly but this part is weird to me.
I think my favorite Precure gen is Kirakira. Why? Because I like the confection/desert themes. Don’t know if the animal themes were necessary but I’m not complaining I like them. I especially love their transformations. With the frosting and everything it’s just. Mwah. I remember a few years ago I saw the transformations and went to Amazon to see if I could find the compact they use to transform as a toy and did and pestered my parents about getting it. Here I am today with nothing. But KiraKira is still my favorite Precure generation.
I agree with a good part of the video, but I really think Go! Princess should be a bit higher and Delicious Party a bit lower, I think Delicious Party deserved being the 6th place instead and we having Go! Princess on top 5 instead, would be a more accurate result in my view, aside it, it's mostly our opinion differences
I also disliked Cure Lamer's design when it was first leaked and now it's my favorite Cure design of all time so I guess it goes to show how important style and motion really is lol
Shiny Luminous is yellow bc all of her powers are yellow and her hair is so big and voluminous that she feels like a yellow cure, the pink is there to contrast the yellow
I don’t know how I feel about red Cures in Happiness Charge, since it’s typically used as a negative or evil color, with Phantom the Precure Hunter and whatnot. But I’m just a few episodes away from finishing it and maybe it might just grow on me, or not.
Nice If you've seen The Snow Princess and the Miraculous Ring! movie, LaMer has more-is-more over the top tastes. A book I'd highly recommend is "Drawing Fantastic Female Fighters" by the character designers for Fresh and Heartcatch. Instead of a simple 'Let's Draw' book, they talk in depth about the choices they made in character designs for the two series, then make up their own teams of fighters, discussing the hows and whys of character designs for them.
Huh, it's so unfair that Smile got the last place seans its just like Yes! Precure 5 GoGo!, they camed before Smile, there is only ONE character that has a different dress, but its not THAT grate, their hairs...only Dream has a descent hair, in smile, ALL the characters have perfect hairs, they're super original!!!! And just like Yes! Precure 5 GoGo!, they have different little details, but it's A LOT more visible!!! Their bows are each with their characteristic, Beauty: More fallen, with ruffles on top; Peace: Tall, with ruffles top and bottom; Happy: Perfect shape, with ruffles on top and bottom; Sunny: Cuter, with a really puffy scarf; March: More withered, with a more withered scarf. Just like the ruffles on the skirts, three have them and two don't. The little tails they have, Beauty: Diamond shape; Peace: Scissor finger shape; Happy: Diamond shape; Sunny: A very frilly handkerchief-shaped syrup; March: Syrup in the shape of a more withered ruffled scarf. Gloves are also different: Happy: Normal; Sunny: Very long and with a ribbon; Peace: Shorts; March: Middle Medium; Beauty: Normal. Boots the same thing, also each one with a characteristic: Happy: Normal, with a ribbon; Sunny: Very tall, with a ribbon; Peace: medium to short, with a heart-shaped bow; March: very short, with a band covering most of the boot and a ribbon; Beauty: Normal, with a withered bow. Now Yes! Precure 5 GoGo!, for crying out loud, Dream, Rouge and Lemonade wear socks, and da Lemonade is a little taller, Aqua and Mint don't wear socks. Lemonade is the only one whose skirt has more frills/layers than the others. And the Milky Rose that has everything different. Now tell me which one looks more uniform, the one where they all wear the same clothes and only some don't wear socks, or the ones who wear the same dress but some have ruffles, different bows, different crowns and feathers, different boots, different gloves? ????? OH PLS!!!!
I see you don’t like the uniform season but I think the reason they do is because it’s by Toei. Similar to power rangers which tbh I kind of like but I also love seasons like princess which is my favorite. I think black and white but I love this video :) fresh was the first season I actually got into with the 6th ranger or mid season cure idea
Number 20: SMILE PRECURE. No, she’s got a point. 😅 I started with SP so I’m sorta biased, but I can agree with that ranking. 😂 It’s chaotic yet bland at the same time.
Maybe it’s because I have an animal hair allergy, but every time I see the a la mode designs ALL I can think of is ANIMAL HAIR IN FOOD. Cure chocolate’s transformation in particular broke me as I watched her become more and more overdesigned. Fully aware that this is just me tho.
i hated the doki doki designs! they feel so boring to me. like, they could have done so much more and didn't. my favorites are... well, probably the hirogaru and max heart designs.
My opinion:I do not like Delicious party at all bc 1:it is a Kira Kira rip of,2:WHAT KIND OF NAM IS CURE PRECHIES,3:the pet jumping on the cures body is NOT the best in my opinion and toei can’t make transformation toys of of that,I am not hating on Delicious party one part of me likes it a lot and the other half of me does not like it:>
You don't THAT harsh. Sure they are a bit too similar, but I think they're well done. In my opinion, I think what brings this season down are the international cures. They aren't bad (far from it), but their similarities with the og team feel a bit un-unique. Just my personal opinion.
