My favorite Leon outfit is the just the shirt. It's practical and Capcom did a great job of modernizing his og outfit. Ada's Chinese dress is definitely my second favorite though

Damn, thanks for mentioning that. It was one of my favorite outfits but the face kinda looked off to me (think the beard stubble kinda ruined it). Ima have to try that combo out.
Played tf out of OG RE4 so I have a weakness for OG skins, specially jacket leon. But I gotta say default Wesker and default Ashley look great as well, oh and hero leon looks cool 😎
I actually like Leon's Villain alt, cuz the black hair, feathers, and red eyes gave me vibes to V from DMC5, and makes me miss Devil May Cry's gothic atmosphere. The other costumes like Ashley Casual, Default, Romantic, and Armor, Ada Chinese dress and Default, Luis Vest, Wesker Classic, Leon RPD, Jacket, Hero, and Ada Undercover are my favorites of all time, hands down.
I absolutely love the hair for Hero Leon it’s really cute and unique. I wear that with Romantic Ashley. Both of Ada’s dresses are amazing, I want to use the longer dress more and not the Re2 one but the fact it’s black and red and not just red makes me dislike it somewhat. It’s still great though.
What if Luis’ jacket is burnt and not actually a gradient? We do learn that his home was burned and he left the village shortly after the incident. I think that’d be some cool visual storytelling and actually makes me like his look even more.
Maybe if they took out the feathers and replaced it with a black trench coat or a short cape, villain Leon would be better. Hero Leon would be probably among the best if not for the sleek-back hair that makes him look like Vergil from DMC. casual Ashley is probably my absolute favorite, especially coupled with the red hair accessory, and it makes her look like she got kidnapped while working at hot topic. Pinstripe Leon I like, but it would be better if the scarf was shorter and thrown around his neck proper with one of the tails hanging off of his back. And now that I think about it, Ashley should’ve had Hero and Villain outfitd to compliment Leon’s, like maybe her Hero outfit could be a princess in need of rescue kind of motif while her Villain outfit could be an evil queen motif.
The villain costume would be my favorite if those stupid feathers weren't there, the default jacket is the best costume for me, it look so much better than the og version and fact you can wear it for the whole game make it perfect the gangster outfit is still badass, my favorite dlc costume is the hero one, leon look like a castlevania protagonist and it fit perfectly in the castle
I feel the same way about the "original" Ada dress, I was disappointed it was a completely different dress even though it's definitely good still. I'm actually mad they didn't give us the Assignment Ada costume as a nice surprise, I always loved that tactical look for Ada, plus it's the only time it's ever been done so it feels special too.
A very interesting list indeed! I think that the new default Wesker outfit is really cool, and beats out the black suit. Sure, the black suit is awesome, but I think I prefer the default one for the same reason that you prefer the black suit. The black suit, especially with the gloves, just screams "evil villain", whereas the vest is more subtle and practical, with the shoulder holster. The open collar shirt, vest, and holster accentuate this upside-down-triangle shape, which makes him look really cool and imposing, whereas the black turtleneck and suit is a little more stuffy and closed-off. I do believe that the black suit is more in line with the lunatic Wesker we get in RE5, who is psychotic with delusions of grandeur, but even if we are indeed getting that same kind of Wesker in the potential upcoming RE5 remake, this new default Wesker outfit leans more into his original, "classic" aesthetic, which I really like. I do think Leon's t-shirt look would be higher on my list. It carries over all the main elements of the original, but I think it improves a LOT by changing the design of the shirt. RE4 OG Leon's shirt was this kind of compression diving suit shirt, with a high collar, that always struck me as a little odd. Like it looked like something you might wear for swimming, or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but it looked overall really uncomfortable and stifling. The new shirt still has a bit of a "tactical" look to it, but the notched collar and the raglan sleeves are just so sexy. While I wouldn't necessarily disagree with the Ada outfit order, I find her long red dress to be a lot nicer than others seem to give it credit. Yes, it looks different from the original, all-red one, but for me, the half-black, half-red makes almost no difference. I think a lot of people will prefer arbitrary details because of nostalgia, and try to justify it using terms like "iconic, classic, charm", when in reality, if the OG game had released the black-and-red dress instead, and the remake had the full red one, people would be saying the exact opposite, by preferring the OG's black-and-red.
Casual Ashley is my favourite skin but I love her romantic skin I kind of wish they made a new hairstyle/accessory for her hair but its still an amazing skin
13:30 to 14:32 the casual ashley section I swear the white logo on the leggings are symbol of the arkhamverse Penguin. Wait a minute...with Pinstripe Leon does that make Leon scarface (the doll) and Ashley works for the Penguin?

Who are these jackasses hating on Casual Ashley. Do RE fans just hate on 00s scene kids? This takes place in that time period, and I guarantee you a lot of the people hating on this WERE those kids back then.
