It's a crime that the Freeman boys, Cindy and Jasmine never all had a misadventure together. All those clashing personalities could have been interesting.
Still baffles me that Tara strong of all people voiced Cindy.... Look up Tara strong and see all the characters she's voiced and you'll see what I mean
It’s a shame that we never got to see Jazmine and Cindy be best friends in the show like in the comic strip. Of course, it didn’t help that Cindy only appeared in four episodes of the series. I’d imagine that they would’ve had a tomboy/girly girl type of relationship when considering how Cindy in the comic strip was way different from the animated version as I can see Jazmine being able to see through Cindy’s gangster facade while bonding like the sisters they’ve never had as I’ve read plenty of Boondocks fanfics that portray their relationship as being close as sisters. What’s touching about that is not only would their relationship run parallel to the relationship of the Freeman brothers, but when they eventually get with the brothers, they’ll actually become sisters for real, 😊.
There's a comic? Okay I read the comic and I didn't expect to see Cindy there so early. I also didn't expect her to act like that, she seems very different from the show
@@dreliq981 Indeed, the comic strip was kinda like a slice of life political satire while the animated series was more a political satire comedy. Unfortunately, after 9/11, the comic strip dropped the slice of life aspect and became a full on political satire until the strip came to an end in 2006. In regards to Cindy, her character in the show seems to be the same as in the comic strip except that she’s blatantly imitating stereotypical urban black behavior, most likely from what she sees portrayed in the media much like her comic strip counterpart. This can be noted by how in the basketball game episode, Cindy’s urban black behavior was just an act as shown when she was thrown off by Riley’s mama comments.
@@leohino9211 Nah, she’s just like Riley in that they’re both pretending to be wannabe gangsters, as shown during the gun shootout scene in the fundraiser episode in which they were both crying in terror over the situation. They are both still little kids after all.
@@alien-ann Well, he comes off as being opposed to any form affection that he either sees or is directed at him, possibly due to being reminded of his deceased mother’s own maternal affection towards him, at least that’s what I surmise.
It's funny how in the end Riley said you never give the money away, but he ended up giving some money to the homeless guy before all the hostile take over situation
1:28 XD I died at this part, spit my drink out. Ah, I love watching these videos... I miss it. There is nothing like it nowadays, nothing serious just the boys doing things.
Nah, Riley had it coming for not intending to keep his promise to Jazmine of donating the money to charity while selfishly only making money for himself and putting everyone he involved in his scheme in danger of which he almost got Cindy and himself killed over it. That was sweet karma for Riley, lol. Also, you do know that Jazmine is just a little girl, right? As it’s kinda messed up that fans are willing to berate an innocent 10 year old girl who likely only knew about PETA based on their identity of being one of the biggest animal rights organizations in the world and who naturally wouldn’t know about their true reputation of doing more harm than good. In addition, that scene was also meant to be a parody reference to a scene in the film, Goodfellas.

@@B.bell2k Well, all the other similar comments I've seen in regards to that scene seem to say otherwise. But if the comment here was specifically intended to be joke, then that's cool.
Tara Strong really played Cindy well like damn who would’ve thought she be cussin lmaoo. But damn I’m mad that Riley and Huey didn’t get with Cindy and Jazmine like cmon now
