I both hated and loved this scene. Hated it because I don’t seeing Mark a d Lola fight, and lived it because it’s so real, and it helps show people that people can be wrong, they can make mistakes and it can hurt us deep and might take us some time to get back, but if we truly love each other and want to work on each other, we can all get to a place where we understand each other better, even if we can not always understand each other fully due to different experiences. Having differences doesn’t mean it’s the end. I really love this show. And I love Mark and Lola’s relationship so much
I am black and never went through this. This belief of victimization has to end. People should take personal responsibility. No one told Lola to jump I front of that girl that night, defying an officer.
I like all the characters on this show except for Lola and I can't put my finger on why. It's not this scene, it's overall. I don't care for Marg's character either tbh. The supporting cast is great though. I wanted to like her because I like the actress. Oh well, sometimes it just doesn't click. Maybe they'll grow on me.
Watched the show the first season and enjoyed it so checked it out last week but most unfortunately I came to the conclusion I'll not be watching any show where the actors faces are covered by a mask the entire show. I quickly found that extremely tiresome. That's my reality when I leave home but it sure as hell isn't my reality when relaxing at home on my sofa to TV shows and movies. I'm really OK if every show pretends life is normal.
