Man I miss old Roblox, I joined back in 2013 and I just revisited my old account recently only to find that some of my old clothing items are gone and only a few games are actually good. RIP old Roblox you will be missed
Few games good? Bro theres like millions of games better than the shit that was 6 years ago Sure they were good but the ones we have now are hella better
@@Jeff_WeedEater You trippin? Most of the games these days are simulators and tycoons and spam games. Old Roblox was better as it was peaceful, welcoming and a nice place to be apart of, and it wasn't absolute copied and reposted slender shit
@@Jeff_WeedEater I mean some of the new games are enjoyable but a lot of them get boring fast and another thing I noticed is that most of the games today are just clones of other games with minor changes or just tycoons and simulators. I do like a few new original games but I wouldn’t say that they are better than old Roblox games but that’s just my opinion
i joined back in mid 2016. What I love about that era is that its in between the simple times and the modern times. I literally watched the roblox frontpage go from games like prison life and tycoons to games like jailbreak and arsenal. Also back in 2016 when you searched something up most of the games were really old like plane crashes, build to survive zombies etc.
i miss build to survive zombies so much 😭😭😭 i remember that if u held ur pistol and went into first person u would fly off into space and that was my favorite glitch ever
@@TomorrowBillisI wish my laptop didnt died, now I am doomed to only use phone until I save up enough money to finally play actual games, am happy for you
I liked how they actually played to the simplicity of the engine, so much creativity was born from the limitations. Now all the top games are either imitations of popular Steam games or grooming grounds. If you even want to compete you need a dev team of like 10 established programmers instead of just being a 13 year old with some heat and vision.
I started to smile and tear up watching this... I wish I could go back in time to the good old days... all of my favorite games back then have since been ruined by recent updates. Elements of Robloxia and Roblox Karts had all of their music changed due to copyright reasons, Roblox Rush and Super Roblox Rush are now private since they don't work anymore, the old Earthbound RP game I loved so much now has the teleports broken. The only good that came out of this was me realizing that radiogamer (The one who made Elements of Robloxia and Roblox Karts) is still active.
@@sarah-zt8he You don't realize how nostalgic I am for these sounds. You may not realize how long I've been playing Roblox for. I don't think its wrong or "cringe" for someone to get emotional when they hear/see/do something from their childhood.
@@A_Different_Name Dw bro sometimes I cry over nostalgia too. I would give anything to go back in time 10 years and do it all again for the first time with the same joy I had as a kid. Whenever I revisit stuff from my childhood it just isn’t the same
2011 was when I dipped, I thought I was too cool to keep playing as a 12 year old so I purposely got myself banned... I still regret it to this day lmao. Modern Roblox is a shell of what it was back in 2009
I mostly remember the "splat" sound effect from watching old Thomas & Friends roblox videos, acompanied with a constant clicking sound when the engines moved
I remember playing those old Thomas crash experiences on roblox, So the hammer tool explosion that was often in those games back then was truly a nostalgia trip
The nostalgia comes back to us when we hear this sounds I still remember that day of 2015 when i was with my best friend and we saw a roblox gameplay so we installed it in our devices, sadly my first account got hacked
The burger eating sound, the pizza sound, and other old item sounds brought me back memories when I was playing Roblox: "Survive The Disasters!" since Kindergarten.
Although I joined in August 2019, I used to be a Guest in 2015 - 2016, but when they were removed in September 2017, I stopped playing Roblox and played back in December 2018, with my first account, which I don't know the exact name. I miss the old Roblox, not only the gold era, because I didn't even had Roblox or either know in 2010 - 2014.
So many memories of wasting hours upon hours in games that were barely even games to begin with. One of my all time favorites as a kid was just, don't even remember the name of it, but it was these tiny little flat planets floating in space with a big intangible ball around around them to give the illusion of an atmosphere. Each had a unique name, color, biome, and layout. There were no objectives, and all you could do was build stuff with the rudimentary old tools, dogfight in space, or land on other planets, but every time you logged on a brand new story of war, surrender, friendship, rivalry, alliance and betrayal would unfold.
I miss the old roblox. It used to feel warm and welcoming, you came in and you were a robloxian, part of the community. The games were all fun and enjoyable and it was filled with fun and memorable experiences. Now, when you join you pick a crowd, it's harder to make friends I've found and it's hard to find games I actually enjoy. Don't get me wrong, there are lots of good games, but most of the games are garbage. Just simulators, tycoons, finds the blanks and adopt me, because adopt me has just taken over. I feel like a big part of Roblox's downfall for me was it's rise in popularity. It's always been popular, but back when I first joined it was impressive for Murder Mystery 2 (the most popular game) to get 10k players. Now games like Adopt Me and Brookhaven average 100k kids on a basis. Roblox has changed, but I guess that's just something we've gotta live with. Also the staff of roblox are absolutely terrible they make the worst decisions and are terrible at moderation, just wanted to say this.
For me, 0:12, 0:22, and 0:50 are so nostalgic, makes me wish roblox was back to the good ‘ol days when you could use tickets to buy online passes and could play the cheap and rustic, nostalgic games that make up roblox like Robloxia, Girls vs Boys type games, and Work At a Pizza Place (that one’s kinda the same luckily!)
Ik a lot of people are probably gonna say I’m like 9 or sum but I actually joined in 2015. These sounds are js bringing back every single good memory in my life before 2019 and it’s just amazing.
i joined back in 2017, i cant say i was there when “og roblox” was there, but i get some nostaliga from just watching people play from 2015-2017. brings back good memories even thiugh i didnt experience it all.
yall are young. i joined back in 2009. i was 8 years old playing this shit, old roblox is my early childhood. teared up hearing these old sound effects that straight up cant be accessed anymore through conventional means on the game. shits sad af. even playing my old saved games from back in the day sucks. 90% are broken, and all of the fun nostalgic sound effects/music is completely gone. wish theyd release a roblox classic or something with all of the old features from 2009, kinda like wow classic or something. but ik thats impossible due to the copyright issues surrounding the sounds
The good times (been playing since 2016). When roblox had good players that were friendly, builders club, good games, and good layout. It went downhill a lot…
"i miss old roblox" that's what the current new players will say in 2030. these words has been said since the earlier days of roblox and always be continued.
Roblox was so good back then, the memories and simplicity of it. Though all that’s been flushed away, the newer games have a higher standard, devs put a lot more effort into their games.
Anybody heard a ping sound, kinda like the one you hear in 2014+ games? I hear it sometimes in games from that era, and some new ones too. I can't remember which game I specifically hear it in a lot though.
My first account had to have been in 2015, best years playing games on Roblox. Games like survive the disasters, get eaten, lumber tycoon, the list goes on
I miss old roblox. I remember being a guest back in 2014 on my iPad. The new games like Doors, and the other super HD games are pretty cool, but there’s nothing like classic roblox.
But the most impressive part is the old games that were played and was really fun but it got discontinued and it started to breakdown one by one R.I.P, 2014 - 2023 Roblox games (and yes I think that’s where I heard about Roblox at that year and remember making an account the first time)
