@@matthewmatthew9485 hey tell me cavani doesn’t give you a little bit of nostalgia haha. Ruud always had that poachers instinct but Cavani has a bit of it too! I don’t think he’s anywhere near our original Flying Dutchman but Cavani gives me good memories of how traditional #9 soccer is played.
You prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
Something interesting about Ruud...is when he has time infront of goal he always shoots on a half beat...so he speeds up his shot...so his shot isn't in like with his step pattern...it's like his snatching the shot a bit quicker than he needs to.. I bet that helps to catch keepers slightly unprepared
Great insight. I’m a big fight fan and this is something that a lot of fighters do where they trick their opponent into seeing a pattern occur with one strike and then on the half beat throw something else. Really cool to see this technique translate across sports!
Thought this after seeing the goal at 6:27. He didn’t look at the goal once, he knew the keeper would let him have a first touch before coming out so if he shot straight after, the keeper would have no chance of closing the space at the near post
@@KingKuba1313 Yeah and how many Goals did Lewandowski share with other Strikers??? (Muller is not a Striker), Van Nistelooy had MANY competitions Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Diego Forlan, David Bellion, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, Louis Saha. and Lewa?? Pizzaro
Ruud was Predator infront of. Goal the 2003 season for United he scored 44 Goals. That's outstanding that season, the last Ten away Games he scored 10 on the trott. Nine times out Ten, Van Nistelrooy was always in the right place. At the Right time, ⚽💯⌚
RVN and T Henry battling each other for the Golden Boot for 5 years straight. I used to think Van Nistelrooy was a player with zero skills compared to Henry. Looking back now, RVN had something no other player had. He could read where the ball would land. His position skills is world class if that's a thing.
Rooney had a couple of high scoring seasons, but I think if Ruud had stayed, with the new players that came through, he would have kept smashing them in and would have got close to Charltons tally for sure
@DDeglane16 he only did it for a season mate, if Fergie had of stayed no doubt he’d of scored a lot more, but sadly you can only put him in the bracket of Zlatan.. amazing for a season but that’s it.
I remember my late dad with all his buddys screaming everytime Roodt scored. They shook the area with ther screams when he scored. Best memories moments ever. Thank you Roodt a real legend
VN scored some sitters for sure but how about that run out of the center circle? His flawless penalty kicks? His heading ability and overall hustle? The dude was relentless. He was magic for MUFC.
RUDD VAN NISTELROOY WAS A BEAST INFRONT OF GOAL AS HE WAS CLINICAL AND SCORED FROM ANY ANGLE. A GREAT PENALTY TAKER AS WELL. ONE OF THE BEST STRIKERS WE HAVE HAD. UP THE RED DEVILS👏👏♥️♥️♥️🤩🤩
Also he couldnt stop scoring at madrid first season topscorer la liga and he made them champions again after 3 years without la liga title second season 18 goals in la liga 26 games before he got injured. The man was an absolute beast and obsessed in scoring goals.
6:58 Rooney? haha now qn guys, would you take RVN or RVP, i feel like RVN was amazing but RVP was pretty damn insane too, plus i feel he's more complete.
@@fahimahmed6939 Cos he was injured all the time, whenever he wasn't he scored goals. Not saying he was as good as RVN though. Also if RVP only had 2 good seasons how did he manage to score 144 Premier League goals then? In his 2 best seasons he scored 56 league goals.
The problem is that people weren't so stupid back then...a penalty well taken is a goal...super important...8s like telling Michael Jordan that free throws are useless lol.
He could have scored more after the season Beckham was left which cause ruud a big problem because he was the playmaker for ruuud sir alex was foolish to sell him at the time he was king of free kicks crosses set pieces and playmaking
@troy krentzs no man if he stayed we could won more ucl because in his last 5 season at united the team didn't got below of ucl quarter finals and they won in1999 also semis in 2000 and 2003 after that beckam left and ruuds prime geting down slowly it took 4 years for utd to play a ucl quarter
@troy krentzs exactly. there were simply better teams in europe in the mid 2000s. it were crazy times. maybe the most competitive time in european football
Ferguson was stupid to sell becks. He was by far the best playmaker in the Prem 1997-2003, stats will prove it as well (80+ assists in 6 seasons). Utd didn't win anything for 3 years straight, Ronaldo or no Ronaldo
Ethan Mahoney But Salah was a winger and RVN was a striker with Giggs and Beckham on either wings. Manchester United won the league Liverpool were fourth better team not sure. Liverpool got to the final but can stay it was better team. Salah had better season
