so actually you dont need to read the 30 journals for the sunken sorrow curse if you know someone who read all the journals they can just place the voyage down for you and youll get the curse upon completing it without ever touching even just one of the journals
I didn’t even have anyone in my crew and for some reason it let my do the voyage and get the curse. Before doing the voyage I had never set foot in a shrine before
@@twenty22chicken5 times is unbelievable tho that means you have to do 45 tall tales just to get it that’s kinda ridiculous but then again you get it for putting in the effort
You actually just need to complete the sunken Kingdom voyage I haven't read any of the journals except for in one of the shrines and one of my teammates threw down the voyage we did it and now I have the sunken curse.
Also (currently) stone curses are not obtainable since the season 12 plunder pass is over. But they’ll probably enter the shop with the lightning curse at some point
Why isn’t gold skeleton curse included bro it’s the level 1000 for servants of the flame, yeah sure it’s a variant just like ashen bones, but it’s meant to be the legendary version just like Athena’s blessing has
You also need to be pirate legend and go meet with the pirate lord then tell him you got to level 100 and the door will open where you can get the curse through a cutscene
@@Mrquixity ok feeling real dumb but I gained access through the like you said talked to everyone got some new commendations but no curse, didn't get a cutscene either.
@@learnedeldersofteemo8917 I think you have to walk through past the door into the room and go to the middle where a interact will show up and then the cutscene will begin

To make it very clear, yes it is only all the commendations for the Shores of Gold, original 1-9 tall tales! Which includes doing them all 5 times and reading all the journals
@@Verdant11686 which is an evil task, who would want to be bored doing 9 tall tales 9 times in a row? Doing a single tall tale once already isn’t interesting or fun 😭
It is a bug that has been in the game since launch and it happens sometimes when a play dies and respawns or other things it is simply (fun fact) the player model not rendering properly so instead of making someone invisible it replaces them with the base player model which happens to be a skeleton.
These curses would be SO much cooler if they were something that happened to your pirate in game. It’s not nearly as cool or interesting if they’re just something you unlock or are given to you. - Imagine you earn the Ashen curse because both you and Stitcher Jim are tricked into helping Flame Heart. Slowly over time your curse develops as both you and Stitcher Jim are becoming Ashen Lords. Then something happens and you’re able to cure your pirate from the affliction, while Stitcher Jim embraces it and actually becomes an Ashen Lord. Our curse doesn’t continue to envelop us because we defeat Stitcher Jim severing Flame Hearts grip on us. They should make the curses and unlocks interesting and fun is all I’m saying.
this is what the more recent curses did though like lore wise the ghost and skelly curses are pretty well done and explained and you got a whole cutscene for em
No the golden Athena is a curse u can by when reaching level 1000 Golden blessing of athenas fortune u can’t customise the athena curse they are seperate wich means gold ghost is a difrent curse it’s pretty obvius if ur pirate legend
