Thank you for covering the majority of the hockey games for the Sega Genesis :). NHL 97 is also my favorite hockey game on that system. I would also recommend trying EA Hockey (European Sega Mega Drive cartridge). Despite it being a European release, the game was made early enough as to not have any region locking issues. Once placed into a North American Sega Genesis console, the game will play at a super fast pace. It basically feels like the original NHL Hockey, but on steroids hahaha! The playable teams are also quite interesting, as they are all country based without any player names. There is even a team Portugal hahaha! As for missing out on NHL All-Star Hockey 95, it feels like an arcade game, but the scoring system is pretty brutal. You will probably appreciate what Sega Sports was trying to do, especially with how deep the fighting mechanics are, but the execution is off. Very unforgiving for a sports title. That being said, I played the game a LOT recently, in order to get back at it for humiliating me as a kid and fortunately succeeded beyond my wildest dreams hahaha! Anyway, keep it up and NEVER give up!
