Like all the stuff they added is fine but like it’s so underwhelming there’s hardly anything, and then they wait til a season with virtually nothing new and introduce a membership like wtf

They are still using the original third person animations from their pre nerf ads speeds. They haven't updated that for years. Plus vaulting and pretty much every animation is out of sync.

@@pikkyuukyuun4741 yes, melee also. if you melee it temporarily acts as if you're holding a knife and no shield. meaning you can be hitting barbwire with your shield n get random HS sprayed. happens to me all the time. despite knowing these things and having high skill judgment you'll still get just free fat L sometimes. #justShieldThings

ive had this happen to me a lot and its already frustrating enough before this nerf

Anyone dealt with getting knifed when your opponent is in the “getting knocked over” animation, pisses me off that the game registers I’ve meleed them but they can still knife me

I mean it definitely makes anyone fighting against the shield be a little happier I guess.

@@JesseThomson-zb9nl YES PLEASE BRO the problem doesnt lie with the ads time but in the melee speed. after knocking me over it will take longer to kill me giving me a chance to get up if you dont 2 tap down me. which is good if i have teammates nearby. Now if you are just straight up ads on people with out getting close and knocking them over then why the fuck are you playing a shield to begin with do you just have terrible aim and need a full body bullet blocker???? just run a regular operator at that point holy

no its the opposite. A third person sees you already ADSing while you in the first person view are still in the process. For shields. So the gap has been made much bigger

Shield operators remove the fun from the game. Put your pussy shield away and use your gun. Must suck not being able to aim like a normal human

Hard disagree. Shields operators are the strongest S tier ops in the game in the right hands. You can't even bash shields away due to shitty net code allowing the shield operator to always have frame advantage when meleeing. Before the start adding new shields they need to give some sort of actual counter play that isn't just "I hope the shield user makes a mistake". Love people like you crying about shit in the game that is already heavily meta and oppressive and overpowered.

@@optionallemon9262 More than half of the defender roster have means to counter it Impact granades damages around 70% of the shield health even with a direct hit 13 operators in defense have acces to it A c4 against blitz per exemple its 90% of his health even if he is crouched with the c4 right in front of his shield. 11 operators in defense have acces to it And i'm not even counting primary gadge counters like Oryx dash, melusi, gu-mines, echo drones etc. I'm a blitz main and i know its frustrating to play against a shield when you do not know hot to play against (shields were a meme for over 5 years in a row) and the majority of the player base just dont know or dont want to play against it. But as a shield main i can assure you when i get someone on enemy team that know how to counter shields he can do it effectively
