@@traceynicole4008 TY for the input. I had wondered if maybe this was a possibility. All I can do, honestly is reflect on how my reactions and coping style enabled the dynamic. I was very young when we met. I was emotionally immature and not very experienced in relationships. I had never heard of setting healthy boundaries, and believed he had my best interests at heart. I am in the process of divesting myself from his baggage. I have enough of my own to sift through, heal and learn from. I appreciate your comment.
