She has so much power in her moves that the floor can't contain it, lol. But when she sticks those landings, just wow. Hell, even when she doesn't, it's understandable why.
im still confused as to how the triple double is not in the code multiple gymnast have shown videos training it and its much easier then doing it on floor so its interesting
I went back to the vids from 2 years ago. Most people are so fickle. Americans were burning her at the stake calling her the most vile things. Now, she's the adorable angel again because she's a winner.
So awesome seeing both of her coaches there right by her side cheering her on! They are her biggest support team! You can tell they love Simone. They've invested so much in her. Been with her through thick and thin! Let's give a HUGE shout out to Simone's coaches, Cecile & Laurent Landi!!!! 😀😀😀😃😃
these skills are just a fraction of why shes the goat and notice only she has attempted all of them in competition i know the biles 1 on floor just got competed by another gymnast yesterday but besides that no one else can do it and yes some have shown videos training the biles 2 of floor but they dont have the balls to take it to competition simone is not a once in a life time gymnast cause theres never been someone near as good as her she is the first simone biles and her title as the goat is set in stone and her records probably wont be beat for decades
Uhm try 100+ 😂 And even then, she will still be argued by some as the GOAT. This kind of impact and impression is just so hard to quantify objectively. Same way ppl worship Jordan as a and thinks no one can do better, I will argue Simone will turn to be a similar figure for women's gymnastics going forward.
Yeah, I don’t think we’ll live to see someone surpassing her. MAYBE those who are toddlers now, but still highly doubtful. Except of course they start genetically engineering super humans.
Oh, and I don’t see how anyone could seriously deny she’s the GOAT. Sure, objectively quantifying is hard, but she wins by an insane margin on so many levels (skills, difficulty, scores in different CoP, medals, execution). To say "But her ARtistrY …“ is just pathetic as it is the most subjective part of the scoring (not to mention sexist and eurocentric) and couldn’t even mar her achievements if she was indeed severly lacking in it.
So...to be clear, her moves are the hardest... They're worth the most points...and she's the only one that can do them. She's a boss level dude. Anybody finally beats her at something she's just ginna start the second health bar and start actually flying.
I'd be thrilled to see it again in competition. But if she doesn’t feel safe with, doesn’t wanna take the risk or simply doesn’t feel like it, so be it. To see her perform even "easy“ skills (for her standard) is absolutely marvelous.
Se ela conseguisse criar um movimento novo nas barras assimétricas ela seria a única ginasta a ter homologado movimento nos 4 aparelhos, seria o auge. Ela é fantástica.
Have Simone ever said anything on not pursuing a Yurchenko triple? I think I’ve read her basically saying ‘I ain’t trying to die’ when someone asked her if she ever tried a Produnova, but I’m sure she has at least practiced the TTY.
Wont be surprised if there are other skills she is working on to put in THAT book. When she is done the BIBLE book of SKILLS might have a whole chapter named BILES.
@@mariusa.5863 I hope Jade regain her level of difficulty on vault and floor and some day, some day, compete internationally that triple double lay out. She has beautiful form when she performs her passes.
Isn't it amazing when things like that happen? It's like fate. I visited the fire station with my Gramps (he was chief of the department) when I was 5 and I knew what I wanted to do. Then I turned out to have asthma, severe allergies, and grew to a very underwhelming size. But damn, I really wanted to be a firefighter.
@clairstberry 0 seconds ago I come from a ballet orientation. I observe that Simone Biles needs a good line. I would like to see her feet, pointed and not stuck on the ends of her legs. I know that she is extremely strong, but I would like to see that strength melded into beauty, I would like to see pointed feet and more dancerly movement. It is as if I’m watching a machine instead of a body moving through the air. I would like to see length and grace in her body. I would like to see it at all the gymnasts actually. But because she is the acknowledged, Best, I would like to see that in her, it would take gymnastics back to a virtue that it once had but lost, in it’s quest for one more twist, and one more turn. Go ahead twist and turn, but make it beautiful.
Yurchenko refers to the approach to the horse (a round-off back handspring). Double twisting Yurchenko is the most common vault, but when Simona Amanar added a half-twist at the end (producing a 'blind' landing), they named it after her. We've seen double-pikes done off the horse before, but not with a Yurchenko (i.e. blind) approach, making it way more difficult, so it's rightly named after the first one to land it in competition.
I would love to see if she can pull off a triple twisting Yurchenko vault however after the twisties incident in Tokyo ….may not be in the books what do you guys think ?
she still might get another move named after her at the Paris summer Olympics which would give her 6 skills the 2nd most in Gymnastics only soviet Gymnast Nellie Kim with 7 skills named after her she retired after the 1980 summer Olympics age 21. ages of Gymnasts are swinging back to what they were before 1972 allowing women in their 20s to perform again then there's also Oksana Chusovitina from Uzbekistan who is trying for her 9th Olympics aged 49 her first two Olympic Games occurred before Simone was born Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996 also age requirement to compete changed from turning 14 now to 16 in the year of the Olympics you want to compete in Rebecca Andrade of Brazil for ex was 17 in her first Olympics in Rio 2016 22 in Tokyo in 2021 and if she makes the Brazilian Olympic team again will be 25 in Paris or if Gabby Douglas makes the US Women's team this year she's 28 years 7 months when she competes in Paris after an 8 year hiatus she was 20 years 7 mos. in Rio in 2016 and 16 years 7 mos. in London in 2012 before these girls the oldest American Artistic Gymnast to compete at the Olympic Games in the modern era was Dominique Dawes 23 years 8 mos. in Sydney in 2000 birthday Nov 20th 1976. the first time he US Woman's team won an Olympic all around medal was Silver at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles CA that Olympics also produced the first American female Gymnast to win 5 medals at one Olympics Mary Lou Retton team silver individual all around Gold vault Silver Floor and Uneven Bars Bronze she was 16.5 when she competed in the Olympics a time when most kids are getting their drivers license and a car. had I not been legally blind and wanted a four door sedan it would've either been a Ford Crown Victoria or a used 1994 Chevrolet Caprice and if I wanted a 2 door car it would've been either a Chrysler Sebring LXI v6 Convertible or a Toyota Camry Solara SLE V6 Convertible granted the Crown Victoria and Caprice had V8 engines due to their weight granted the Solara and Sebring are several hundred pounds lighter granted both the sedans are over 17 Ft Long where as Solara and the Sebring were 16 Ft long
@@whitneyhoustonstan2472 Would love that. That way she would have a skill named after her on every apparatus. Can't imagine what it could possibly be though.
The guard at the end of the obstacle has to have razer shart accurate judgment to move in at the exact moment it appears she's going to land wrong. I would have anxiety having this job. Their life is literally in his hands.
Thank YOU for letting us know! Simone is not a goat but a bird, she is not at Jesus left with goats but at his right because she hates demons as well as hell.
Just imagine for over fifty years blacks were denied participation in this sport now there’s no one like her, the powers to be knew once we enter the sport we will change it forever.
She is a great gymnast, but can't stop wondering if her height so small and her body weight helps her achieve those spinning in the air without getting injured or even dare to do it.
You’ve clearly never done gymnastics babe she had the twisties so she literally didnt have a choice but to pull out. Twisties is when u basically forget where u are in the air when u twist and its not something you can get over in a few minutes it can take weeks and months. She had to pull out for her own safety and she also pulled out because if she didn’t perform any twisting skills on any apparatus she wouldn’t have the difficulty or requirements to score competitively and it would’ve cost the US a medal. So her pulling out Allowed her team to get a medal and also keep her safe. So educate urself before u hate on her.
@@Kh-ld9osand to think she came back on beam and won a bronze without doing any twists! That is just crazy! I am glad that she has been able to take care of her mental health and been able to come back.
