Crazy how fast this game was ! And having to use the pci to hit was challenging but rewarding! Loved playing this as a kid

This game was great. You could swing after the catcher caught the ball and still hit it out of the park. I did play the hell out of this game though. At the time it felt so realistic.

I own this game and I like to know how do you hit in this game? You got a bat cursor which I feel like is impossible to line with the ball. Do you have any tips or do you have just as much trouble hitting as I do.

Guess pitches - usually that gives me a frame of reference if it's fastball or offspeed by the cursor increasing or decreasing in size as the pitch is delivered. After a couple times through the lineup, you can also look at your batter's pitch chart to see where/what pitches the pitcher previously threw. I've found that generally helps with location, when they'll throw what in a certain count, etc. All that being said, it's still way too hard to hit in this game. I have played about 15-16 games now with the cursor and still strike out 9-10+ times a game, and feel like I really am not being rewarded often enough for guessing the right pitch/squaring things up. Seems like the outfielders catch everything in this game..
