Well, S17 will air by end of this year or first week of 2025, and AS10 om July/August or even push to end of the year as previous all-stars, the only thing I wonder if WoW is feeding the other queens with overviews on Lydia so they can pretend they see her run on S17.

right? like they filmed S17 in april-may and AS10 in june-july if i'm not mistaken. so we're talking finances, the mental toll filming has, the logistics pre-, during and post- filming. it's crazy that they called her and crazy that she agreed. i wonder what the fan reaction would be like considering AS has been airing right after the regular season for several years now.

If anyone hasn't noticed, each group of all starts 10 format has a category for each queen within the group. Each group has a returning queen, fan favorite, finalist, early out, Rudemption, middle out. (Season 17 lydia is allegedly eliminated middle out). So basically, each group is made up of fan base categories that were made and the only one not included in Each group is miss congeniality and queens that have been considered lips-sync assassins unless you considered Aja, Jorgeous and Denali as the lip sync assassins.

If I had to make 6 categories to fit they'd be: Assassin: Aja, Jorgeous, Denali Alien: Irene, Lydia (assuming), Acid Seasoned: Phoenix, Tina, Ginger Sweetheart: Deja, Kerri, Cynthia Finalist: Bosco, Mistress, Daya Trade: Olivia, Nicole, Alyssa

I would love that if ever they would continue the Vs The World series, they would treat it like a regular season. Like if it's UKVSTW, half the cast would be from the UK then the rest are from all over the world and anyone can participate (either they're from another franchise or completely brand new). So that Global All Stars can be the one that can have a full cast of people that competed before.

Queens on AS 10 who I’m most excited for/I hope do well (Oooo, girl, strap in ‘cuz there are quite a few! LOL!): Aja, Deja, Irene, Olivia, Kerri, NPBFAG, Acid Betty, Daya, Denali, & Ginger. Now, with the way the groups are split up, I’m pretty sure that this lineup isn’t able to become the Top 10. Which is a HUGE bummer. For me at least. (Buuuuut no one will ever know due to mathematics being a complete and utter mystery. Which makes all of this especially tricky since I’m not even sure if one would use math to confirm/deny the possibility of this lineup. What I *can* confirm though, is that… no matter how you would go about it, I am NOT the girl to do so. LOL.) Still, I do enjoy this weird, random AF setup for this season of All Stars. It’s sort of like RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars meets Survivor and I am *HERE* for it! LOL.

I don't think Ru is ever really biased against queens from other franchises. Just look at how she reacted to queens like Jimbo and Pangina or Marina and LGD in the vs the World seasons. But it will still be an issue for the queens themselves to excel in any comedy challenge beyond scripted acting or Snatch Game (for which you do at least have ample time to prepare for) . If English is not your first language even if your conversational skills are excellent, you still often have to translate your humour (and ofc there can be cultural differences there as well).

even though the format seems a little extreme, i am excited to see how it goes and what kind of challenges they have for the initial groups. because i’m assuming they’re gonna save the big challenges like snatch game for when the 10 queens are solidified. so im hoping for the initial groups there are new fresh challenges too. we’ll see! interesting though. can’t wait to see Bosco and Mistress back.

Each group gets one of the three types of drag race challenges: comedy, aesthetic, and performance. Each group getting their own set of three iconic drag race maxi challenges, and each episode has a top 2 and the top 2 gets 2 points each and the lipsync winner gets an additional point. The 4 queens who dont win will be able to vote for one queen to get a point as well. The 3 with the most points advance. Its unsure how the queen who didnt make it initially will be brought to top 10 but its rumored theres a lipsync smackdown

I am very worried about the queens on global allstars who speak english as a second language not getting the appreciation they deserve. Speaking a second language is one thing, but being able to translate humour from your native tongue into english is another. I also really dont wanna see ru pressuring the queens to play into stereotypes of their country, like he does so much DRUK. For instance the Jonbers snatch game situation where pretty much said "i wanna laugh at an irish stereotype". Idk babes i feel like its gonna be drama

The queens are always graded on a curve anyways. For global allstars, if 8 of the 12 queens bomb the comedy challenge because of language barrier... then you will only have to do "bad" instead of "really bad" to avoid elimination. Also, many queens have succeeded on drag race in their second language. All it takes to make Ru laugh is a little physical comedy and an accent.

I personally don’t like when the queens come back on all stars really soon after their original seasons. I think it would be way more interesting if there was like a standard where all the queens who come on all stars are at least a few years past their original season. When they come right back, I don’t really get the point because it’s not like there drag has changed much. waiting a few years gives them time to develop and grow and see them really evolved makes it way more interesting and more exciting to see them back. I think a good example of this is Monique / Mo Heart. When she came right back to all stars 4 yes she had nicer outfits because she had money, but she was still very much the same queen. she was still relying way too much on the branding of brown cow stunning. Versus now she’s so evolved in a very cool way. I just think waiting and giving them time to cook is better

I can’t believe theirs been this much chaos around a season (AS10) that hasn’t even aired yet. I mean whether you love or hate the shenanigans, the show still (In my opinion) knows how to captivate it’s audience. Idea for a fan name the Mera Maids/Mera men and of course the Mera Theys.

I feel like the format is kind of interesting, but I feel bad for the queens because the earlier outs often talk about how disappointing it is in part because of the financial investment they had to put in to getting all of the looks for the season and then they don’t get to show the vast majority of them and this form is amplifies that by three 😢 at least with this format no one is immediately eliminated, but still sucks that there will be so many early outs

I see your point. But in this format, they only have to first get looks for their filming group. The merge won’t be filming till later. So only those making it will have to prep looks for it.

given the season is gonna be pretty much like survivor, i’m curious if they will edit it like survivor and show the 3 groups competing at the same time in the same episode. or if it is 1 episode group1, episode 2 group 2, etc. OR (the most obvious one) just doing 3 episodes of 1 group then going onto the next after they finish. but by the end of the third group,most the audience is gonna forget about group 1. so i can’t wait to see how they’re gonna edit it.

Not vibing with Jorgeous and Ginger coming back not gonna lie. What else are we supposed to see from them that they haven't shown yet? I am okay with Aja coming back since she has changed a lot since AS3 but I just don't get why we have to keep seeing the same people in every season

Maybe this format is a way to not wrong the alternate queens. Perhaps the first three episodes are filmed in advance so the queens that don't get through don't have to buy the whole package for the season?

Nothing against Cynthia, but it feels like she's in the same group as Acid Betty for Betty's story arc. Betty took good care of Cynthia when she had health issues back in season 8. Maybe this will be brought up.

Girl I read the Spoilers and the season sounds pretty good. If you wanna know some early rumors scroll down… Aja and Deja get the chop from the first group. The second group just finished filming and the 3rd group is now filming. There will be a lipsync smack down to see which of the eliminated girls joins the final group. So Aja and Deja still have a good chance 🔥

I kinda wish that the Queens who doesn't make it to the merge, get ot be on All Stars 11. That would be a good way to not waste these queen's time and also to let us fans enjoy them more. Like Okay the 10 queens who merge get to compete for AS10 but the 6 remaining should be on AS11 + 2 to 4 other queens.
