The fact in season 3 on episode 10 Mei blames Wukong putting them endangered when they wanted to go on his quest with him even when he said it was going to be dangerous and that he was gonna do it himself
It refers more to the fact that he didn't tell them the truth or all the necessary information, besides that it is true that in the first season he left all the enemies to MK XD. Honestly, his way of teaching is basically "Straight into practice, learn as you go" lol.
@@Aural4444 yea yet again he never trained anyone before so I think he is doing what his Master did when he used to be in training and on the lying part I think he thought he was keeping them safe from the truth knowing he was willing to possibly kill himself for him to try to control the fire to beat the bone demon plus if he told them they would probably try to stop him from trying to harness the fire :)
@@FeralRaptor His teacher only taught him how to cultivate (aka being inmortal), he basically learned by fighting others and stealing things LOL. And no idea what would have happened if he had told them the truth, maybe things would have been for better or for worse, the thing is that he has trust issues with the gang and that has now exploded in his face XD. I love when they make the hero of legend is taken off his pedestal to show that he is a normal person with his faults
@@Aural4444 yea I like that little detail as well in the end legends are just like everyone else even legends are not perfect I don’t know too much on Wukongs past I just know what’s going on in the series and just thinking of theories :)
@@Aural4444 Wukong: “Hey guys soooo my plan probably involves myself being burned alive by an all powerful fire in order to kamikaze the LBD, lets get these rings! Also mei has one and that might hurt a bit” I think he knew that probably wouldn’t go over well LMAO. The crew does not seem like the type to be into assisted suicide
Does anyone else love the fact that even tho DBK and Princess Iron Fan is like “evil” they literally have the best and healthiest relationship ever, DBK is strong but he knows that he shouldn’t treat his wife like a porcelain doll like omg
I actually remember another Chinese folktale called The Magic Lotus Lantern. It was about a boy who had to save his mother from his uncle Erlang Shen, and the Monkey King trained him to face Erlang since he fought him before. I figured that story would have been mentioned in this show eventually since MK is technically not the only student Monkey King trained and there’s a figure piece of Shen and his dog in the Lego toy set. Hopefully in season 4 they’ll mention it
This version of Wukong right next to his 90s variant (long hair) are probably my favorites in terms of design and personality, they're both lil sillies 🥰
@@microcelltechnicalassistence and got drunk like Norse god thank god he knew not to go into a woman room while drunk and only to the lab where godly experiments happens that changes biology and other stuff
No seriously he actually is Goku. Lemme explain. Sean Schemmel plays Wukong. Sean also plays Goku in recent Dragon Ball anime. It looks like he added a similar sounding voice, but added a bit of Goku in it. There's even a couple references to Dragon Ball. For example, Goku was originally was supposed to be a full monkey (thanks Frieza) and original name was Son Wukong. (Sound Familiar?) And he also rides a cloud. DEFINITELY not familiar (AHEMflyingnimbusAHEM).
