Notice how the Jailer's "MINE" is in a different voice than the rest of his line. I bet that is N'Zoth. Jailer is a N'Zoth minion confirmed. Calling it now. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k4BNqACt-BA.html
Reminder that The Jailer tried to play the moral high-ground when you kill him in the final boss fight after he literally tortured millions of men, women and children into oblivion and said to our faces he was going to enslave everyone into mindless zombies.
@@gonzalonavarro9584 If you believe that Sylvanas has been on equal terms with The Jailer, the person who 'saved her from hell' and gave her a lot of her power himself the entire time, that's pretty funny.
@@Gulliedoutbigup Oh no!, not "equal terms" but there's a difference between serving a stronger beeing than helping him. Remember, they both are condemned to The Maw. Of course, was Him who condemned her, but I think she knew it all along. The problem for Sylvanas is her lack of Hope and her abundance of fear. From her point of view, she must see The Jailer and his plan like something inevitable. In Warbringers, she recalls herself as a "fool" for fighting against the inevitable.
@@gonzalonavarro9584 The year is 1300, you wash up on the shore of a land you don't know. You're taken to the king. 'You can either be tortured for the rest of your life, or you can get this brand new set of shiny armor and a large sword if you figure out a way to kill all these people for me. Then afterwards you'll help me with my other plans. Sound good? Good.' In that scenario you are pretty much becoming their bitch. That's exactly what happened to Sylvanas, give or take a few details
You'd think sylavanas would've gotten the context of the jailers plan considering what the maw is and the jailers constant verncaular. Without him needing to say he was going have everyone S-word him.
He always allowed her the freedom to do as she pleased and if what can be inferred from her dialogue with Anduin, Sylvanas and Zovaal shared the same vision of remaking the system. Zovaal never divulged the exact details of his plan, but everyone who has been allies of Zovaal have kept their agency (minus the Lich Kings). Sylvanas had no reason to believe he would go on a power trip when he regained his power. To her the power was a means to an end, to Zovaal power is the end. You can work with someone towards a common goal and the questions you never thought to ask may not come up until it's time to put the plan into motion.
I hated so much when someone was saying "WoW is dead" when each expansion appeared. Now I am slowly becoming convinced that writers are basically keeping this game on life support with constant Dragon Ball style of retconning - Super Saiyan form (Burning Legion) was "legendary" in Frieza saga (Warcraft III), now Ultra Instinct (First Ones) is "legendary" in Dragon Ball Super (Shadowlands expansion), while previous Saiyan forms and characters from previous sagas are getting more and more insignificant (all antagonist characters that players fought hard in previous expansions are turning into either "allies" or punching dummies for filler quests). They are trying to be like Warhammer Fantasy/40k with expanding their lore (they also have First Ones type of characters). But what made Warhammer universe popular is that its universe is essentially our world's mythologies and Dark Age being overdosed on steroids.
@@cameronmcewen9666 that's not even my point lol. The point is that Warhammer universe has overly exaggerated events and character designs, which Blizzard is trying hard to recreate without getting clapped by Games Workshop's copyright.
I think the bigger problem is that, while WH40k lore is over the top to a teenage angst level, it’s consistent. Lore in WoW gets changed. One type of magic comes from point A, then two expansions later, that magic comes from letter-dimension C, point A is irrelevant. Character believes hurting children by bombing them is bad, next expansion, same character gives order to bomb some kids. Other character can’t get over the fact big villain killed her, then happily smirks and compares themself to big villain before bombing a place. Next expansion, character feels bad for turning a cool dude into big villain 2. It’s the back-to-back inconsistencies that ruin this lore.
What I really like about the Jailer is his armor and his armies' and Sylvanas' looking like awesome skeleton and skulls who cares the dead with honor, the blue spells among every corner of the His realm with black, which are one of my top favorite colors.
people have been trying to guess where the portal zovaal went through at the end of the raid goes to but i think i might know not where but when. doesnt anybody else think the portal looks like time magic, like the yellow cronos timey wimey stuff. he says "realities end", what better way to end reality then to end time.
In the End Time dungeon back from Cata, there are 5 bosses: Jaina, Tyrande, Sylvanas, Baine and Murozond. Considering we haven't heard about Nozdormu since the end of Cata, he might've already become Murozond and it is not impossible for us to go back to the End Time again.
There should be a moment in the final battle against the Jailer where Jaina becomes too exhausted to fight, and before she could be struck down, she is saved by Tyrande.
People saying this xpac sucks but then I see Sylvanus hearing The Lich King's and Arthas' voice when Zovaal says Serve and I have more reason to just ignore those haters and keep playing lol
As Zovaal Lays defeated. "Fall of Lich King Theme Plays* The First Ones come out and say: No King Rules Forever! Zovaal: I see only darkness before me.....
Thats not really the character's problem per say, its Blizz being cheap as fuck for years now and it coming back to bite them. Covid is not an excuse for all this, all their work is Digital not something tangible, they may get affected but not to the same degree as other businesses.
When show 9.2 patch the jailer raid? Sylvanas can help us? I cant trust her. Gen and tyrande want sylvanas execution. After defeat jailer and save anduin. We will judgement to sylvanas?
what about arthas he was manipulated by zovaal cobsumed by vengeance and corrupted by frostmourne he will be judged and redeemed by the new arbiter after zovaal's defeat
It just looks so fucking stupid seeing the Jailer who is this 90ft tall, bald and nippled blue dude talking to sylvanas who is at best 6ft tall walking next to him trying to have a conversation about bullshit no one cares about for a goal no one could even reasonably have understood, because Blizzard never fucking told the story.
@@twistedjiji Fictional writings still have their rules. The one with a soul and fel wasn't created that long time ago. It would be a joke if they retconned it so soon... but with Blizz writers, I wouldn't be really surprised.
